Very private, peaceful and quiet natural setting. Relax while listening to singing birds or watch the wild-life including manatees in season from the deck overlooking salt creek that is 87 degree warm all year, mineral rich ( 51 minerals ) natural out-flow from nearby ( about 1/2 miles ) Warm Mineral Spring Lake also know as Fountain of Youth.

Excellent location, very quiet neighborhood.
Great area that offers boating, fishing, golfing, canoeing, bike riding, walking. Atlanta Braves training field and water park nearby.
Walking distance to Warm Mineral Springs ( about 1/2 mile ) and 5 minutes from US 41.
Within 30 minutes drive to fantastic beaches ( Venice Beach, Englewood Beach, Manasota Beach, Siesta Key Beach ), parks, shops and restaurants.

There is wildlife in the canal ( no swimming). No smoking of any kind, no drugs anywhere on the property. Do not fish from deck.

Very clean house in a quiet neighborhood!

Just what we wanted and as advertised!!! Clean, quiet and private! Did see manatees, fish and other animals around the house!!

Friends family visits

The house was very clean and updated. Teresa responded quickly when we couldn't locate a toaster she ordered one and it was delivered a few days later. Binder on counter provided property details and local attraction information. We did see one manatee and alligator; several jumping fish(tarpon) during our visit. Only a few items- I would have like to seen the.DO NOT DRINK THE WATER on the top of the 1st page of the binder not blended in the middle of the second. Also noting in the listing the pool isnt heated would have been nice.

10th Anniversary

We spent the week in Florida and the house was amazing, they left us a card and bottle of wine. Wish we could have used the pool more it was a bit cold for my husband's liking. It is within 30 min. of some the most beautiful beaches.

Beautiful views

House overlooked Msyaaka River, view our back were beautiful. We had some trouble with the plumbing but owners were quick to respond and correct problems. They checked in with us several times to see if problems resolved.

Beautiful newly renovated 2 bedroom. Enjoyed river view and screened pool. Unfortunately pool was not heated. Learned on arrival tap water not useable for drinking or cooking. Needed more seating at kitchen bar counter-only 1 stool provided. Also needed more seating in livin g room. Only had room for 2.

Lovely Stay

We arrived after dark to be greeted by an automatic flood light to enter the house. Although sparsely furnished, the home was very clean, updated and comfortable for the two of us, and a third would have fit in as well. We both appreciated the natural tropics feel of the back yard as we watched the tides come and go from the back deck area, The pool was too cool to swim in as it was early March, but we knew that may be the case. The beaches were close by an we visited three of them over the week. Mayakka Pines Golf was a very nice with three 9 hole courses, nicely laid out for various levels of skill. I will not hesitate to stay at this property again!

A diamond in the rough

This was a great little house. VERY clean with updated appliances, bathroom and most furniture appeared brand new. Not a lot of "extras" yet (ie. games, cards, beach toys, etc). Pool was too cold to use but it is beautiful. The back yard was spectacular. We had a blast watching the squirrels run from tree to tree. The canal was clean an we saw lots of aquatic activity (no manatee nor alligator). The neighborhood is very quite but does have lots of activity at all hours of the day and night - someone is always out walking, riding bikes etc. Thru no fault of the homeowner, the entrance and exit of the house changed daily as they were resurfacing the roads. It was confusing navigating the neighborhood. With NO DOUBT, had roads not been under construction it would have been very simple to locate house. Water was undrinkable and could not be used for cooking. Homeowner did provide our first gallon of water which was a blessing. Overall, I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay.

Had a wonderful experience!

We were there 1/29/21-2/4/21. We had a wonderful time. The property was exactly as the description on VRBO. Very clean, comfortable, everything you need like at home. It was awesome to watch the Manatees in the river behind the property. We went to a different beach every day. Beaches, restaurants and shopping very close. The only issue we had is the pool is not heated, which I did not notice in the description, but it was stated, so it never heated up enough to use. That was one reason we choose this property. The neighbors and even the pool lady were very friendly. The manager/owner was spot on with concerns or needs. We would highly recommend renting this property but would maybe go when it is a little warmer so we could use the pool.

Our Villa Manatee stay

We enjoyed our month at Villa Manatee. The house was spotless, and the property manager was very responsive. The neighborhood is quiet, and the property is lovely. It was especially enjoyable to see manatees in the water.
