Ideally located in the pretty 'Safranier' district of the old town of Antibes, you will fully enjoy the charms of Antibes!
The typical daily market is at the end of the street to immerse yourself in the Provencal atmosphere, buy your fresh local products on the colorful stalls, drink a coffee accompanied by a share of socca!

The location is exceptional because everything is accessible on foot: the white sandy beaches of Gravette or Ponteil (350 meters), the walk around the Remparts and the sea a few meters away, the many shops and restaurants (100 m) , the Picasso Museum (200 m), the famous yatch port (300 m), the bus station (300 m) to go to the surrounding cities (Cannes - Nice) or to Sophia Antipolis.

The appartment was excellent, ldeal for visiting the old town and the beach.

We enjoyed our stay here. Clara was helpful, polite and wanted us to had a good holiday. The appartment was of a high standard with a nautical twist.

The apartment is fabulous-beautifully appointed and equipped. The old town is beautiful and full of history-also shops and a wonderful market Provencale daily. Be aware that while the sea is just steps away, the nearest accessible beaches are a 15-min walk in either direction. Beautiful but very crowded beaches in the summer. Antibes is a must-see place and has easy access to all of the Côte d’Azur!!

The location in Old Town is fantastic. Apt is very small but has everything you need. The bedroom and bathroom are located in the basement level which can be a bit challenging if you have mobility issues or small children.

Good weeks holiday

Very good location in the old town, only a short walk to the market, shops and restaurants. Met at the property by Clara who gave us a good introduction to the property, and was also very helpful in giving ideas for visits to places around Antibes. Overall very pleased with the whole experience.

Wonderful property

This is the second time that we have stayed in this property and it was just as good as before. The location is wonderful. In a quiet area of old town but literally 1-3 minutes walk to everything. Clara, the host, could not have been more helpful. We love Antibes as it is the best of both worlds - plenty of things to do, restaurants, beaches etc but not too big. And still very convenient to visit Monaco, Nice, Cannes etc. Highly recommend Antibes and highly recommend this property too.

Kind and Responsive Hosts

We enjoyed two weeks at Clara and Pierre's apartment, conveniently located on the edge of Old Town Antibes. We had a few initial service requests, which they took care of promptly and cheerfully. Clara sat down with us and gave us recommendations for restaurants and activities. A great experience!

Perfect location, lovely house, could do with a minor refresh and some storage, but had loads of charm and character. Disappointed the TV didn't connect and the agent wasn't available to assist.

Beautiful stay in Antibes

Very thoughtful host. My friends came to visit and we could easily arrange 3 people for one nite. The stairs to the lower part/ level( bedroom and bathroom) are steep- so people with little kids/ elderly and physically challanged people- this is not for you! The studio is located right next to a café and a restaurant ( need reservations during high season) easy to find ( not very well described in the entry letter though. Bring your own towles ; ) other then that - i wo7ld rent it again : ) hope this helps

Traumatic & dangerous

The property including both rooms, is terribly dark. In the photos it was bright & light.The water comes out of the tap a brown color which seemed decidedly dangerous. The stairs to the bedroom are terribly steep

I find your comment unfair. You came in December, at the time of the shortest days and unfortunately it rained a lot during your whole stay which is exceptional here and the tap water could have been disturbed, you should have warned me and I would have provide mineral water. The strong point of my apartment is not extreme brightness because it is located in the heart of the charming historic pedestrian streets of the old town, but there is a window in each room, many points of light and no one has never complained about darkness for more than 10 years that I receive guests... I hope nevertheless that you appreciated the festive bottle that I kindly left you for your arrival I didn't get any news from you during your stay despite of my messages...

A quaint converted boathouse in a good location just below the ramparts in a quiet location. Easy access to the old town town, Picasso Museum and lovely beaches. The property is accessed via a shared entrance up several steps. The living/dining area is on this upper level and seemed well equipped. There is a small easily opened window with no particular view but the jasmine just outside smells great. The kitchen is somewhat bijou but not uncommon in the Old Town. There is no dishwasher but there is plenty of crockery and a large fridge and a dining breakfast bar in rustic style. Bedroom and bathroom is downstairs which are quite steep but there is a helpful handrail on one side. There is a child gate at the top of the stairs. Bathroom is modern with double shower modern toilet and sink. There is a electric heated towel rail to dry any used towels and there is a washing machine also. The bedroom is large with a large comfortable bed and double wardrobe. The floors are solid cobble style tiles so not that comfortable to walk on. The bedroom itself is below ground level outside so the window is quite high and not that easily opened. If the wooden shutters are opened you are quite exposed to people looking in but there are some Venetian blinds but you need to be over 1.8mto reach the control or stand on a chair. If you don't open the wooden shutters you are in a cave. There wifi was very poor intermittent and probably not in property. It was not fixed during my stay.

Nous étions deux pour cette location moi 74 ans et mon fils 36 ans . C’est donc lui qui a dormi sur le convertible qui malheureusement pour lui n’était pas du tout correct taches, auréoles cachées par plaid. Donc malheureusement pour lui un couchage peu engageant pas du tout confortable a changer sans aucun doute. Propreté correcte pour le reste .Sinon préciser dans l’annonce couple uniquement la chambre du bas correcte mais fenêtre raz du sol vous ne pourrez pas ouvrir les volets. Le plus la situation’ commodités commerces , plage cadre typique très joli de ces ruelles du vieil Antibes.

EDas alte Haus ist renoviert und liegt nahe an der schönen Stadtmauer.Leider ist das Schlafzimmer und Bad eine steile Treppe tiefer im Untergeschoss und riecht muffig und feucht.Keine Aussicht- nur auf eine Hauswand und deshalb innen nicht sehr hell.

Lovely stay in Le Safranier, Antibes Ol Town

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely quirky house with its interesting French styleinterior. It was decorated to a high standard & Clara was a lovely host. We will definitely stay again, an ideal quiet location just a few steps from the promenade, le marche & the Ramparts.

Extremely clean and quiet apartment in Antibes

My husband and I stayed for three weeks in Clara's wonderful apartment in Antibes. The apartment was very clean, one of the cleanest apartments we have ever rented. It was well located, with restaurants, grocery stores, a market, and bakeries within walking distance. We walked everywhere from the apartment, including to the train station and bus station which are about a 20-25 minute walk, dependent upon pace. We did not have a car, and really did not need one. We were able to easily explore old Antibes, and go for lovely evening walks along the rampart by the sea. The apartment itself is very comfortable. We used the oven and the washing machine, both of which worked well. There is one flight of stairs up to the apartment. Once in, there are stairs from the main floor kitchen and living room down to the bathroom and bedroom. The apartment is very quiet at night for sleeping. The bed is comfortable, the shower is excellent, and there is a wonderful towel warmer! Communication was very good and we very much hope to return! Thank-you very much, Clara!

I am a lover of the old town of Antibes where I live for 10 years with my family. It is a lively melting pot of old people who have been living forever, young artists who have settled in recent years, sailors working on yachts and tourists from all over the world. I like living in this pedestrian space on a human scale, where you do not have to have a car.
I personally take care of the management and maintenance of my apartments that I have renovated and furnished by myself with the help of my husband.
