Decent studio - facility maintenance leaves much to be desired
Clean modern studio apartment was perfect for two. Everything you need for a long weekend of outdoor fun.
Our major complaint was with the facility itself. The general maintenance of the building seems a bit lacking...but not really a problem..until you consider the following... The parking lot for this unit was consistently not plowed properly, nor were empty parking places cleared of snow 5 days after the first major snow fall. We admit this was a record snow fall weekend (around 36 inches), but to not clear a parking lot of 12-16 spaces event 5 days later is unacceptable. I understand a day or even two, but when the residents complain as well (we talked to several), you know there is a consistent problem. We called the front desk and complained, and were told that they had "heard these complaints from other units in the building we were in." Nothing changed two days after our call. The path to the stairs was somewhat shoveled out, but it wasn't salted and cleared properly to be safe. We had a good size all-wheel drive SUV, so we were able to make do with the help of another resident who came out to help us with a snow shovel. Unfortunately, I can't recommend the overall experience... primarily due to the facility the unit is in. When you pay prime rates over new years weekend for 5 days...you expect the parking lot to be maintained. Kind of a basic requirement in a ski resort town!
