I am so thankful that this finally posted and I saw it on THANKSGIVING! We are thankful for wonderful guests like y'all who are so kind and appreciative all the hard work and love we put into our property! Thank you again for staying with us and for the kind words!

Sorry you were so disappointed. Our 5 star rating says others disagree But let me address some specifics...1) re: the forks...things disappear over time...when you called to ask for forks, were we not over in a matter of minutes? Also, when you said you were cooking, did I not ask if there was anything else you needed? 2) The Grinch in the closet is Christmas decor...I'm not even sure why you mentioned it? 3) Y'all stubbing your toe shouldn't really be a reason to give me less stars, should it? 4) often older houses will have a bit of rust come out of the faucet when you initially turn the water on if it hasn't been used in a while. It would have been nice to clarify that it wasn't running out rusty continuously. 5) not sure what you needed in the medicine cabinet but actually, it doesn't open because it is just a mirror. 6) the window unit in the bedroom is no louder than any other window unit. 7) again, did we not communicate that we live on the property and are available basically 24/7? If you needed anything or had any issues you could have communicated them at the time. Also, leading with the positives would have been nice. Again, sorry it wasn't "your cup of tea," but we take pride in our property and providing and unique and pleasant experience and our 5 star rating shows that others have truly enjoyed our place. As owners who actually live on the property and try to curate a cool experience, i think we go above and beyond...

Thank you for the great review! Sorry for the very delayed response...but in order to provide the most comfortable stay for all our guests, we have added curtains on the door window. We want our guests to be as comfortable as possible! We hope to see y'all again!

Sorry that our cabin wasn't to your expectations, however, most people love our "execution." We have no control over where light switches were placed when the cabin was built years ago. The faucets are NOT dirty. They are rustic, as that is part of our repurposed decor. Sorry about the road noise, but we just constructed an 8-foot privacy fence to reduce noise. Most people are happy with the close proximity to trade days. The record player is brand new and I own a record and audio shop, so clearly that was just operator error on your part. You criticize the snacks as stale, but they weren't. They were also just purchased and really that is just a little something exta we do for our guests. I have stayed at Four Seasons to Holiday Inns to Motel 6 to rustic cabins and never gotten snacks included in the price of my room. Usually coffee only and MAYBE a water. As far as the internet, we have explained in previous reviews and I told y'all, Canton is a rural area with mediocre internet at best. When a town of 3500 is inundated with 100,00-200,000, the internet is going to be negatively affected. This is why we have a good DVD selection, many books, and board games. This is something that is absolutely out of our control and why we provide other entertainment to compensate. Anyway, thank you again for staying with us and sorry that it wasn't everything you expected.
