Cabin 2 Miles From Trade Days GRANNY'S CABIN THEMED WITH ANTIQUES

We call this Granny's cabin because we decorated with things straight out of our childhood. There are paintings on the wall done by my Grandmother and furniture items just like my Great-Grandmother had in her house in the 70s. It will take you on a stroll down memory lane. The cabin has one bedroom with a queen size bed (new mattress!). There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living room, so the property can accommodate 4 adults. It has a kitchen with full-size refrigerator, microwave, and an oak dining table for four. (The antique stove is for looks only and is not operational). The bathroom features an antique ball and claw tub. The cabin has an adorable front porch with seating and a lovely wine wall which is great for photos. Also, there is a wonderful fire pit shared between this cabin and one next to it (also for rent on this site if you have multiple families to bring.) Property is literally two and a half miles from trade days but you'll feel like your way out in the country on our heavily wooded property. We also have several fun art installations around the property that would make excellent photo opportunities. If you're lucky you might even see our resident owl...pictured on top of our repurposed church steeple! Smart TV with Netflix and HUGE DVD collection. There are also several books and games in the cabin for your entertainment. Free Wi-Fi. Full disclosure...rural internet can be unreliable and that is why we provide DVDs, books, etc. No pets, please. Cabin is non-smoking. There are 2 other cabins on the property available for rent. Grannyā€™s Cabin is a trip back to your grandmotherā€™s house. Very fun to see the decor from the past. The hosts were attentive to any needs we had.

Perfect Place for a Getaway

The cabin is absolutely perfect for a weekend getaway. Itā€™s also located very close to the trade days at canton. The cabin has a very rustic feel. The decor is very neat and the claw foot bath tub is perfect for relaxing. The outdoor fire pit was perfect for making sā€™mores. Itā€™s a definite must stay here if you are in the area. The owners are very attentive and will make check in a breeze! Will definitely stay here again!

Cute Cabin

Enjoyed the place overall, very close to Canton activities. Felt a little musty and the cabins are very close to each other as well as to the main home on the property. Would also have preferred to not have been off of a main highway. Super sweet greeter, Splat, the cat. We had a good time and would rent again.

Eclipse Trip with stay at Grannyā€™s Cabjn

Fantastic. Cabin clean and true to pictures. Eclipse T-shirt and viewing glasses greeted us. One in party had mobility issues and host brought a walker to cabin without us asking. Great place. Wonder cabin porch for ā€œproc sittingā€. Popcorn, honey buns, coffee and peppermint greeted us. Only thing missing was chocolate mint on our pillow - ha ha! Recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Close to Canton Trade Days - not much else

Sadly this place was not renovated like the description or very clean. We had no clue which cabin was ours when we arrived and had difficulty finding the cabin. The floors were very dirty and between the window ac and whatever the other dehumidifier thing was - made the cabin muggy and smell bad. I was shocked because the reviews were good.

This by far surpassed our expectations. The rooms were extremely clean. The place they are on is beautiful and well maintained. Very relaxing to the point of where we even talked about how we could live there. They provided everything you could possibly need. It was very close to the trade days parking and shopping for anything you forgot to bring with you. Lots of place close for breakfast. Seriously if you dont pick this place to stay you are very much missing out.

Fun spot!

We enjoyed the cabin, it was cozy and comfortable, and the fire pit and X-Box were both hits with the kids! The cooking tools are very limited, don't expect to do anything gourmet. It is right off the highway, which is good for those who want to get right to trading days, but it was pretty noisy for us. We had a nice time, and were glad for the getaway!

It was so cool. Felt like what I have sleep in as a child. Not fancy, very quaint. Bed was very comfortable. Also our hostess recommended anawesome Mexican restaurant. The porch is awesome along with fire pit. Only down sides were the gas stove is just for show and when we arrived traffic by the cabin has loud. Once sun when down it was much better.
