Guadalupe River Retreat is the perfect place to relax, unwind and make memories. Brand new and right on the river you can't get better than this. Come see what God's Secret Paradise has to offer. It is the ideal destination to enjoy the river and the breathtaking views of the Texas Hill Country. Go tubing, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, or fishing right out the front door. The Horseshoe and the Whitewater Amphitheater are a few miles away from the house. This makes it super convenient for those Whitewater concerts and floating the river. You have river access right outside the house.
Step inside this tiny home and you'll love the open kitchen/living room as it offers a beautiful view of the river. The owners put a lot of thought into comfort and versatility. There are two bedrooms. Downstairs is a queen bedroom and upstairs in the loft there are two full beds overlooking the river. There is one full bathroom and a beautiful front deck draped with outdoor lights facing the river. It sleeps 6 comfortably.
It is also minutes away from Canyon Lake, downtown New Braunfels, Schlitterbahn, Comal River, Gruene and Wimberley. 5 miles to the most popular places on River Road- River Rose Tavern, Lone Star Float House, & WhiteWater Amphitheater. Right next door to Gypsy River Resort. There are also many wineries and distilleries to visit. Enjoy tubing in the summer, fishing in winter, & Wurstfest in November! There are so many things to offer in the Hill Country. Please see a list of our concierge services attached with your welcome note. You many want to schedule some services before you arrive.
The primary guest will need to be 25 or older. The primary renter must be in attendance during the entire reservation.
We take our guests safety seriously therefore, We have implemented measures to protect our guests. After each stay We sanitize the home and all frequently touched items.

This is our third summer at the tiny home, and we absolutely love it. We spend all day by the river, cooking out, making s'mores, swinging, and enjoying the beautiful outdoors on the property. The location is perfect, as it's very close to town. The house is ideal for our family of four.

My family of 5 had a fantastic time. It is the PERFECT spot on the river for wading around AND we walked over to a spot that was deep enough to launch our paddle boards out. The amenities are clearly well thought out- from face masks and coffee to inflatables and a wagon to tote everything up and down the hill.

Perfect Spot on the River

Perfect location, lovely house.

We had a great time at the house and property, I wished we had booked just one more day! We stayed 2 nights, my husband and I, my sister and brother-in-law. The house was very nice and very clean, we had everything we needed. No complaints at all. The river is right there, just a short walk down. There is plenty of shade. We sat with our chairs in the water, then took the tubes out and floated a bit. We bbq'd one night and made a fire in the firepit on both nights and sat around listening to music, had drinks. We went to a tubing service company and floated for 2-3 hours, loved that. The beds were comfy. I let my sister take the bedroom and my husband and I took the loft, the loft has low ceilings but It's mainly to sleep or lay in bed. We liked it, slept very well. I would definitely recommend this rental, the house, property and river access was perfect! I seriously cannot think of one negative thing. We never had to contact the owners other than to say we arrived and when we left. Thank you to the owners!

Incredible!

We loved spending our long Easter weekend at this cozy home. The owners were very communicative and accommodating. The home was well stocked for items we may have needed. We loved spending our time around the fire ring and down by the river. We can’t wait to stay again!

Clean and Comfortable Home in Great Location

This is a beautiful property in a great location on the river. The home was comfortable and was absolutely spotless. It had everything we needed for our stay. It was the perfect location for our stay to fly fish. It was peaceful and the neighbors were kind and respectful. We would definitely stay here again!

Girls' River Trip - SO FUN!

This was the perfect little house for myself and 3 girlfriends. The house was stocked with everything we needed. The views were amazing. We loved having access to the river and were able to hangout there after we floated the river during the day. I can't wait to bring my family soon. Communication was great with the owners as well.

GREAT HOUSE-GREAT LOCATION

The house is excellent! property is huge, right on the water, house is well kept and has everything you need. Great house for kids, the loft is really cool, they will love it. Hosts are great a keeping up with communication. This is by far the best place we have stayed in our many years of coming to float the river! we will be renting again!

Unmatched!

We were a little nervous renting a tiny house with our 3 teenage boys (19, 17, 15) but there was no need to worry! The house is small but is laid out so well, we never felt cramped or crowded. And the access to the river was unmatched! We would most definitely come back. We loved it!!

Beautiful tiny home, on a beautiful piece of property

This is probably one of my new favorite houses to stay in. It is the cutest tiny home. Perfectly clean. My girls LOVED the loft for them to sleep in. All communication with the owners was prompt and so sweet. The property is gorgeous! The riverfront area was the perfect spot for our little ones to play in the water.

This property is RIGHT on the river. This is the most popular float from the Horseshoe and right before the falls. Next to our property is Gypsy River Retreat that rents floats and provides shuttles as well.
We take COVID seriously and use EPA registered products to disinfect all areas especially frequently touched areas. Our cleaners wear masks, gloves and booties and take extra care to make your experience is a good one.
