Southern Comfort is the perfect log cabin for two couples looking for a weekend retreat or a small family wanting to get away. Located in the quiet, peaceful Gnatty Branch Village which sets between Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and just minutes away from Dollywood and the Smoky Mountain National Park.

Upstairs features the Master Suite with Queen Bed, TV, Fireplace, Full Bath and Jacuzzi Tub with large window for the sunrise or sunset to shine in and set the mood for a romantic setting. The downstairs bedroom features a King Bed, TV, Full Bath and Jacuzzi Tub with window for the sunrise or sunset to shine in and set the mood for a romantic setting as well. The kitchen is fully equipped and the living room has the 3rd, TV and 2nd fireplace. Off of the living room is a screened in deck with the hot tub for your enjoyment after a full day of activities and taking in the sites here in the Smoky Mountains. Enjoy your time exploring the natural beauty of the Smoky Mountains, fishing in the nearby Little Pigeon River or shopping at the outlet malls of Pigeon Forge.

Dog friendly up to 25 Pounds! Pet fee is per pet! 2 pet limit!

During the months of November - March , 4 wheel drive and/or chains are required in case of inclement weather.

The cabin was located out of Gatlinburg making it about a 20 minute drive to downtown. It was very clean. Living by area was a little cramped for four people. It was very quiet. However you should bring your own kitchen knifes and frying pan.

Don Thank you for your review and your concerns. There are fry pans and knives at the cabin. In your private message, you said the knives are not sharp enough and need another frying pan. We will check that out and take care of what needs to be taken care of. The living room is a normal-sized living room for a two bedroom cabin. Thank you Management

Weekend in nature….and hot rods!

Perfect place to rest our heads after a long day of checking out the classic cars and shopping in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. Centrally located between both towns gives multiple choices for food and entertainment. Will plan on staying again soon!

Nice cabin great location

I am sorry, we do not supply dry goods or anything related to food because of safety issues. The couch and the refrigerator has been replaced. Unfortunately, wifi is not offered in this area. We do hope that they will eventually get wifi in this area.

Mountain Cabin-Southern Comfort

Great location. Close to town and close to the mountains. Host were in touch way before stay and were easy to get a hold of. Very friendly and helpful too. Cabin had a jacuzzi on the back screened in porch as well as a jacuzzi tub in each of the two bedrooms. Both bedrooms had full bathrooms as well. We used the washer and dryer but had to bring our own detergent which we expected. We had a great time and really enjoyed our wonderful cabin.

Great location

Great location. Clean cabin . Everything was perfect. If I had to make one suggestion it would be to have a vaccum in the cabin . It says in the cabin rental book it was lady bug season and there's not much they can do to prevent them from getting in ( which is understandable) and to just vaccum them up ....but there's no vaccum? ! But our stay was perfect nonetheless . Heartland rental was very easy to contact and work with . We look forward to renting from them again !

Lovely home!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Southern Comfort. The location was perfect and had the amenities we were looking for. We saw a bear and turkeys during our stay. I would recommend that WiFi be added as cell reception was weak. I would also consider moving the king bed upstairs as that room was larger and had a fireplace making it a better choice for a master bedroom. I would also consider an overhead light in the downstairs bedroom as the lamps didn’t put off very much light. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

disappointed

The property was not cleaned after the guest before us. Hot tub was missing a knob and jets were broke. toilet had to be plunged every use, overflowed and ran through to kitchen.

I am very sorry you had issues during your stay. It does look like a wax ring broke on the toilet. I am sorry this broke during your stay. We did sent housekeeping back out to take care of the issues you had with cleaning. The jets did work, but they are easily turned off by twisting them. We would have been more than happy to walk you through on how to turn them back on, if you would have given us a call.

3 Night Stay

Great location! Within 7-8 minutes of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We were able to access the property easily with GPS as well as printed instructions provided at the office. Will be back!
