Welcome to the Golden Oaks cabin in beautiful Wears Valley nestled near the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. We are grateful to have one of the most popular cabins in the area. Hopefully our amazing reviews from our incredible guests help to tell that story.

- Also an easy drive to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Cades Cove, the Foothills Parkway and all your favorite attractions!

- Membership access to a large Swimming Pool and catch and release Fishing Pond 3 minutes away

This is a wonderful place to stay. Communication was amazing and the process was seemless. I would recommend this property to anyone and we will be back. Beds were comfortable and accomodations were great for our short weekend getaway to the mountains.

Matthew was great with communication. The cabin was clean and stocked with the essentials. Also a wonderful accommodating place to stay with our 2 dogs. We really enjoyed our stay!

We have been coming to the area for 12 years and have stayed in multiple cabins but this one is our new favorite cabin. The location was quiet and peaceful. My favorite spot was the screened in porch, I could sit there for hours. Mathew was super helpful and communicative. A large bear walked across the lawn as we were packing up the truck, which was pretty awesome to see. Can't wait to stay here again.

We really enjoyed our first visit to Tennessee and the Golden Oaks was a great place to stay. The home was clean and cozy. The hot tub and pool table were so nice to have in the evenings. We spent most of our time exploring the National Park and found the location to be great. We were a close drive to the places we wanted to visit but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the major towns. Wears Valley was such a cute little town. The yard was also awesome for our dogs, they loved it! My son said if we ever come back to Tennessee he wants to stay here again!

2nd time staying here. Just as good, if not better, this time. Clean, comfortable, easily accessible, and great for our little dogs to run their hearts out playing inside the large fenced yard. Great place to stay!

Home away from home! The property was clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. The owner was very helpful, with great communication. Great floor plan and I have to agree with a previous review, the screened porch and lavish yard are the highlight… we enjoyed a relaxing afternoon there listening to the summer sounds in the swing under the porch fans. Very convenient location to everything and such a great neighborhood. We didn’t get to bring our furry friends but they would have loved playing in the fenced yard. We will definitely be back!

Our beagles loved the fenced in back yard and views from the porch led to much excitement when a bear came strolling by the property. The grassy yard made for a great place for my one to lay waiting while she was on patrol. Loved the porch swings and rocking chairs! Inside this cabin is very spacious with comfortable king beds, a very clean and well stocked kitchen and large dining wooden table to be able to have family join us on a beautiful day to get together and catch up. My husband and I had some fun playing billiards while our laundry was getting cleaned. Outside yards are well kept with some chipmunks playing in a tree. Lots of woodsy outdoor environment and the weather was how us Southern folk like it, sunny and warm. Driving distance to downtown Pigeon Forge was under 10 miles and getting to and from the cabin was pleasant, no scary roads and easy entrance into the cabin with no stairs to climb. The host was very responsive for any questions we had too. All and all we loved this place and would return.

Great house in Wears Valley 10 mins from Metcalf Bottoms picnic parking. The winner of the house was the porch! We had 2 huge thunderstorms and lots of rain during our stay and it was amazing to sit on the porch and listen to the rain. Being so close to this side of the Smokies was great. Even seclusion to feel like you are in the mountains but also close to everything you could need! Really great place with comfortable couches and beds. Huge yard was perfect for our dog! Our daughter got the best sleep ever here and so did we! Thank you so much to Mathew and Sara for a great place!

Wonderful place to stay! The view from the cabin and the yard is beautiful and close to multiple things to do including GSMTN trails and hiking. The dogs loved the fenced yard and the cabin was packed with all of the things to make us comfortable from cooking to laundry to comfy seating and beds. We will book again if we are in the area. We love being so close to one of the back door entrances to Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It is convenient and less busy. Having such a peaceful setting with access to a great pool and fishing pond is wonderful. Also being a short drive from all that Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Townsend have to offer is very convenient.
