Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay.
Panoramic view of lake superior and the surrounding hills. Twelve acres of woodlands further surrounded by state land. Right in the middle of all that the North Shore has to offer. Hike the surrounding land or hop on the Superior Hiking trail nearby.

High speed 1GB internet and WIFI. The cabin is fully stocked the all the needed kitchen supplies for a stay at home meal.

This is our 3rd time staying at Superior View. It was everything we remembered it to be. We needed some peace and solitude. This time we were amazed by Northern lights. Superior View was wonderful.

We had a lovely stay at the house. Waking up every morning to that lake view was incredible. The sauna wasn’t working but it was okay. We didn’t want to bother trouble shooting.

We loved this location and house so much last year that we booked it again. This is a very comfortable home in a great location. We hiked every day on the Superior Hiking Trail, went to the International Wolf Center in Ely and drove up to Grand Marais & Lutsen. Fall on the north shore is wonderful.

Great location for people who like to be close to nature but not go camping. Comfy beds and living/dining space.Easy and short drive to so many beautiful State Parks and hiking and biking trails. Great view of Lake Superior from both levels of the home and the large front deck. Well stocked with board games, puzzles, cards if you need something to do indoors.

Incredible view of Lake Superior. The location of the house is incredible and offers access to several trails, towns, etc - all well within an hour drive. Would definitely stay here again!

Sister’s Getaway

The cabin was very clean and had everything for a comfortable stay. It has a great view of Lake Superior and is within a reasonable driving distance to everything the North Shore has to offer.

We have stayed at this cabin for a number of years, and it is a family favorite. It is always very clean, and the amazing views can’t be beat! We love it!

one week getaway

Loved our stay, but two things could have been better. The dumpster at the end of the driveway was full when we arrived on Wednesday. So, anything we put in, we had to move stuff around, and stuff it in, and 2 people to hold down cover to insert pole. Was never emptied in that week. Also, bad smell when we arrived, and found a cleaning bowl and rag in family room. Put outside, but smell continued. Long story short, we found a very dead mouse under the couch and removed it and cleaned under there, and the smell went away!

Wonderful cabin. Came during March in Minnesota, so it was rainy and snowing. Don't know if they had any salt as I couldn't find any, so it'll be nice to keep some during the winter and early spring season. Cabin was clean and warm. The patio door was tricky to close after opening but we eventually got it to lock. The view was spectacular, overlooking lake Superior and highway 61. Location of the cabin is good too, literally right next to splitrock lighthouse and gooseberry falls and tettogouche State Park. We'll definitely be coming back in the fall.

Definitely a Superior View

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! My husband, myself and our 3 young adult kids. Favorite part was the view! We spent a day up in Grand Marais, as well as checking out a couple state parks. One day we didn't drive anywhere, just took a walk around the cabin. A very relaxing day for sure! It was so nice to be able to bring our dog with too. The cabin is so well stocked and we loved being able to have a bonfire a couple times during out stay. Overall a 10 out of 10! Thank you for letting us stay in your cabin.

Breathtaking view

Homelike cozy environment with everything you need for relaxation. If you want to venture out there are many state parks with hiking trails and local skiing all within 10-45 minutes of property. Definitely recommend!!

A wonderful getaway!!

The view was amazing as advertised. The place was clean and cozy and the manager was so nice and helpful. We hope to come back when we can sit out on the deck and check out some warmer weather in this truly awesome cabin!

Excellent!

This is the 2nd time at this property. Excellent stay, even though it was short. We were able to enjoy a nice campfire the first night and attend the ceremony of the lighting of Split Rock lighthouse. Very nice accommodations with a great view!

The title of the property says it all...the views are Superior! The host was very responsive to all questions and the property was clean and very well maintained. Would 100% recommend.

A cabin we will come back to for years

This is our 3rd stay at Superior View & we'll definitely be back. Great to be near Grand Marais, Tettegouche, & Duluth. Fall colors were absolutely gorgeous. Had a full moon full over a bonfire!

Beautiful accommodation and scenic view

Really glad to be able to bring our dog on this cabin trip. The fee for pets is agreeable. In the planning of our trip, we brought dog food but had forgotten to bring the bowls. It would have been nice to have some pet bowls as backup at the cabin, but understandable that was on us to prepare. It was a beautiful cabin, and had the privacy we wanted. Xxxx

Missing the view already

This was our second stay at Superior View, and I'm certain it will not be our last. Nothing beats sitting out on the deck any time of day and looking out over the lake. Especially beautiful this time of year with all the colorful leaves. Location is in the middle of everything... cabin is super clean and comfortable... has everything you need. Our 4 year old thinks the bunk beds are the best thing. TV with Roku/Disney+ etc was great to have with the kids. Our dogs enjoy all the sniffs and walks around the cabin. Just really can't wait until our next visit !
