OUR CONDO, AFTER EVERY GUEST, IS COMPLETELY AND THOROUGHLY CLEANED WITH ANTIBACTERIAL/DISINFECTING CLEANERS!

This oceanfront condo is right on the beach (private steps to the beach right below our condo), close to restaurants, shopping and the Del Mar Race Track. You’ll love our place because of it's location...It's oceanfront, with whitewater views, waves crashing and boasts sunsets that are incredible!! Our place is good for couples, families (with kids), and your pet (1 dog).

Our condo is located in the exclusive and beautiful Del Mar Beach Club. It is a secure, gated complex with all of the amenities: 4 swimming pools, 2 hot tubs, 2 tennis courts, a great workout room and private beach access a few feet from the condo. It is stocked with beach chairs, an umbrella, boogie boards, pails, shovels…everything you’ll need for a fabulous day at the beach!

The Travertine Stone floors throughout living area, kitchen, dining and hallways keep this beautiful oceanfront condo nice and cool throughout the summer! The gourmet kitchen, dining and living area enjoy views of the beautiful Pacific Ocean! The unit has a nice size living room that overlooks the ocean and may have one of the all time great views. It has a 55 inch LCD flat screen TV, DVD, cable and WiFi, a large sectional sofa. Dining table and area seat 7. Master has King size bed, flat screen TV and DVD. The 2nd room is a small den with a queen size bed, a flat screen TV/DVD.

Sit on the balcony and watch the dolphins, whales and seals play in the majestic water...feel the cool breeze...smell the fresh ocean air and listen to the sound of the waves crashing on the white sandy beach!

Spent a week at this fantastic condo. Within minutes to shops, restaurants, wonderful beach right out door. Gorgeous sunsets. Hosts were easy to work with and responsive. Definitely will stay again

Another stay in paradise

Del Mar Beach Club is the best place to stay in the area. We have stayed in the complex before and this unit has the best location / view out of the short-term rentals. Pictures / description on VRBO are accurate. Definitely will be back!

This condo has amazing views and is very well equipped for a stay on the ocean. Communication with the hosts was great and check-in very easy. It was a pleasure to sit on the deck and watch the sunset in the evenings.

Great Beach

This condo is in a great location. The beach has the softest sand, even though you must take 50 steps to get there. It is an amazing beach to be at with a dog. Then at night, the sounds of the ocean will lull you to sleep.

We have stayed in Rick & Christine ‘s property before. It’s a prime location in DMBC with great views ! We like the proximity to many great restaurants in the area. They are great hosts that communicate well with their guests. We will be back !

Perfect Getaway!

Amazing full-on view of the ocean grabbed us from the get-go. The condo is clean, comfortable, well appointed, and quite spacious. The hosts, Rick and Christine provided all the information needed for easy check-in and check-out and any other information we needed was simple to locate. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Super Beach Location

Nice beach location with 180 degree ocean/sunset views. Owners are exceptionally responsive to any needs/questions. Dog friendly unit and dog friendly beach. Owners provide beach chairs (really good ones!), umbrella, boogie boards, and sand toys for the children. Overall excellent experience. Would book again.

perfect bubble vacation

We so enjoyed our week in this lovely condo with ocean view. We were able to stay socially distant while enjoying every minute at the beach with our kids. Close to everything and everything we needed close at hand. Thank you Christine and Rick.

Escape from reality

We loved hearing the surf and watching the surfers and beautiful sunsets over the ocean from the balcony. Our Condo was well equipped. All we needed was our personal items and food. Solana beach has all the amenities you could ever want.

A Great Stay at the Del Mar Beach Club!

This was our first time staying at the DMBC and Christine & Rick's unit was fantastic. We spent hours on the balcony watching and listening to the surf and sea life...so relaxing! The unit was quiet, spacious and equipped with everything we needed. The private stairs to the beach gave us easy access to hours of lounging in the comfy beach chairs provided by our hosts. We will definitely look to stay again on our next trip to the area. Thanks Christine & Rick for a great stay!

The Perfect Family Getaway

Solana Beach was the perfect location for our family getaway! We stayed at this beautiful condo once before and absolutely loved it there. In fact, we are coming back next summer to do it all over again. The condo is well equipped, cleaned and you can not beat the location. The view of the ocean is incredible and we spent every night on the balcony playing games and watching the sunset. The beach is so clean, never crowded and everyone there was so nice and friendly. Trust me…you too will fall in love with this place and will want to return every year!

Amazing Ocean Views & Convenient !

My wife and I booked Rick & Christine's Solana Beach Condo in August 2021. The condo is ocean front with amazing views ! Steps down to a semi private beach. Exactly how presented on VRBO. Along with the awesome views the condo is very conveniently located near many great restaurants in Solana Beach & Del Mar. We had a great, relaxing week ! Loved it so much we're already booked for 2022 !

I'd give you 10's if I could

I really hate to rate the property so high as it will make it hard to get back in. The location is fantastic! Balcony gave a great view of the ocean and you could hear the waves all night. We used the health club and the tennis court, took full advantage of the beach. Is nice to cook your own meals and have the wine you like while looking out over the ocean.

Beautiful Condo-looks just like the Photos on VRBO! Kitchen has everything you need for preparing meals. Condo is very clean. Washer & Dryer are very nice. Great walk-in closet with plenty of storage space. Roll down blinds in living room good condition. Owners are very helpful. Deck is great w/nice seating area & barbecue. Underground parking is very helpful.

Fabulous view!

What a great location with a beautiful view! The property was clean, nicely landscaped, steps from the beach and quiet! The condo was also very clean and had everything we could possibly need for our week-long stay. Rick and Christine were wonderful in quickly resolving an issue regarding our stay just before our arrival. They made sure we were well-taken care of and were most welcoming when we arrived. We enjoyed exploring the area with our little dog in such a dog friendly community. There are so many things we enjoyed about our vacation but coffee on the balcony in the mornings and sunsets in the evening definitely rank high on the list! We will be back!

Fantastic

I truly can’t think of anything other than fantastic. Rick and Christine’s place was absolutely wonderful and the care they took to make sure we were comfortable was unbelievable. Particularly during such a unique time dealing with the uncertainty of COVID - the condo was immaculate. Through the duration of our stay, I traded a few messages with Christine (who was incredibly prompt) and any question we had or help needed seemed to happen immediately. We will absolutely keep their place in mind for future visits.

View was worth it!!

Our family had a wonderful time at the condo. We stayed for 2 weeks there. You are so close to everything. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets on the beach which is right out the door and down a lot of steps...The owners had everything you need to spend the day at the beach, from sand chairs to boogie boards. Spent most evening on the deck having drinks and watching the surfers catch a wave. Tons of eateries and restaurants close by. Even saw the fireworks from the property grounds. The condo has some modern decor, kitchen has everything you need. Loved the coffee cups!! We had some maintenance issues, that is a work in progress. All in all, a wonderful time with family at the beach.

A Truly Special Spot

From the moment you walk into this condo the ocean is your constant companion. The view truly is world class, and instilled us with peace and gratitude, whether we were in the kitchen or living room. And the deck is spectacular. We ate all our meals out there, and it is an epic spot for reading, coffee, card games, etc. The condo was more than enough space for our family of four, including a 10-yr-old and 7-yr-old. The kids loved boogie boarding and playing in the sand. Easy to hit the beach and walk back up the stairs for meals or to grab beach gear and snacks. Aside from grocery and takeout runs - and daily tips to Handel’s ice cream - we spent the entire week in the condo and on the beach. We will be back!

Great condo and view

We really enjoyed our stay. The oceanfront condo is on the third of four floors, so it has an amazing view of the ocean and the beach below. We saw dolphins on our last full day, and loved seeing and hearing the waves in the background during our whole stay. The pictures are accurate. The tile floor, furniture, and art give it a high-end look, with a long comfortable couch. The kitchen is very well-stocked, exceeding my expectations, and the beach closet has all the beach equipment you would want or need. The rooms feel even bigger than the pictures. There is an elevator from the parking spots in the garage. There are two tennis/pickleball courts and multiple pools in the complex, and you can walk right down steps from the condo to the beach below. If steps are a problem, the Cardiff State Beach is 5 minutes north by car, and is level with the parking lot there and very nice. There is also a Coastal Beach Rail Trail a block from the condo, that you can walk on to the Solana Beach Design District to window shop, or beyond. Rick and Christine were very easy to work with and answered questions promptly. We would definitely recommend this property.

Best short-term rental in Solana Beach / Del Mar area

Just wrapped up another week at Rick & Christine's amazing condo at Del Mar Beach Club (yes, we are repeat guests). Short-term rental condos in Solana Beach & Del Mar are very limited and ones that are beachfront even more so. If you run searches in VRBO wide open of any date considerations, you'll get less than 5 in Del Mar, and maybe a few more in Solana Beach, but not many. Del Mar Beach Club is really the premium option in my opinion - 3 pools, hot tub, small gym (that is well equipped), tennis courts - all right there steps from the Pacific Ocean. This unit had direct ocean view with NO obstructions. Can't beat the view while eating a meal, reading a book, or just taking in the sunset. Unit has always been spotless upon check-in, ample bathroom & beach towels, beach chairs & toys, etc. Christine is always very responsive (not that we had any niggles, which we did not). We plan to be back here next summer for another great relaxing vacation. Last plug - if you are a dog owner, dogs are welcome here and more importantly on the Del Mar beaches. Del Mar is I believe the only city that allows dog access to the vast majority of the beach year-round. Many cities limit the "dog friendly" section to just a small patch of sand.
