It can be difficult to find affordable riverfront lodging, possibly because of the flood plain and associated risks and costs. Being above the flood plain is amazing, and the view of the river changes constantly from day to day, always something new to enjoy.

Thanks so much for taking the time to write a review. Super appreciate it!! Gorgeous photos too! Wow!! Looks like you all had some beautiful weather for Harriman State Park and Yellowstone. Did you have time to see Mesa Falls yet? They are beautiful. If you enjoy seeing Bear, albino Elk, various wildlife in a very close to natural setting, try stopping at Yellowstone Bear World, a drive through wildlife Park, just south of Rexburg, north of Idaho Falls along highway 20. Also fun to learn about Wolves and birds of prey, bear safety, so forth, at the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery center in West Yellowstone. Very educational first hand experience.
