Set in the magical Lauterbrunnen valley with its 72 waterfalls, this lovely, modern, ground floor 2 bedroom apartment comfortably accommodates 4 people.
It has an open plan living/dining area with leather sofas and oak furniture, a modern, fitted kitchen with granite worktops and large French windows opening onto a private terrace with outdoor furniture for dining or relaxing looking across meadows down the beautiful valley.

The main bedroom has a large double bed and ample wardrobe space, the second bedroom has twin oak beds and a wardrobe.
The bathroom has bath/shower, WC, basin and shaving point.
All rooms enjoy cosy, underfloor heating.
The apartment also has a ski room and parking.
Facilities include: free WiFi, cable television with international channels, DVD player with a selection of DVDs, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave oven, a selection of games and books.
In winter, the free ski bus stops next to the apartment and gives access to both the Mürren/Schilthorn and the Wengen/Grindelwald/Kleine Scheidegg ski areas.
In spring, summer and autumn you can enjoy hiking through the glorious mountains or exploring the Berner Oberland's lakes and valleys. Whether you're looking for outdoor activities or simply relaxing in breathtaking surroundings, there is something for you.

The property was just as advertised. It had the bare minimum of necessities and we struggled without a coffee maker and a TV that we could figure out but the view from the back door and the cute little town made up for it.

Thank you for your review. The apartment has a Nespresso machine as well as a cafetière and a cone and paper filters. I'm sorry you found the TV difficult to use. We offer multiple international cable TV channels as well as a Smart TV function via Amazon Firestick. We've never had anyone report that before but I will review the detailed instructions provided in the information folder. Thank you for staying with us.

Great spacious and clean apartment, the postbus stops right near it, we did not have to use our car at all. Friendly owner. Excellent place to explore the Junfrau area with the Jungfraupass, which gives you access to almost everything and a discount to the Jungfraujoch. Outstanding place.

I stayed at this apartment for 3 nights with my wife and two young daughters and we absolutely loved it. The apartment is clean and spacious, with beautiful views just outside from the patio. The location is top notch as well with the bus stop being just a few steps away which allowed us to get to the Trummelbach falls and the train station. You are also within walking distance of the center or town, bars, restaurants and Staubbach Falls. Finally, host communication, check in and check out were all seamless. I highly recommend this for your next stay in the valley.

Exceptionally clean, perfect location, excellent communication with our host. This property is a must if you are looking for ease of transportation, yet quietly tucked away, and with a view. We really enjoyed our stay here.

The setting for this apartment is amazing to say the least. It has a wonderful outdoor space with a direct view Spissbachfall. (you have to peek around the building next door to see Staubbach.) The view up the valley and backing to the open space and a farm next door creates a peaceful and tranquil environment. That said, we didn't find this a 10/10 rental. It contrasted with some of the other places we rented on our Switzerland trip. The basics of the apartment are great. Nice updated finishes, the kitchen is a nice space, the large doors and light are great. However, it's minimally outfitted. The kitchen is lacking basics. It comes off as a place that is stocked with things that previous renters left behind. The salt and pepper was out, there wasn't cooking oil, there was a mixture of leave behind spices. The bed in the primary was so hard that my wife slept on the hide-a-bed couch the whole time. The DVD player remote doesn't work, even with new batteries. There are no extra blankets or pillows for the pull out. The games that are in the listing are missing much of their pieces, and mostly unplayable. A few touches would make this a 10/10 place. We had a great time there, and I don't not recommend it, but the reasons above knocked it down to a 4/5 stars for us.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry your wife found the bed hard. We’ve had several other reviews commenting on how comfortable the beds are but of course this is very much case of personal preference. The self-catering apartment caters for up to four guests in a double bed and two singles. We don’t offer the hide-a-bed couch to guests which is why you didn’t find extra blankets or pillows for it. I will certainly attend to the other points you mentioned. Thank you for staying.

We visited in late September and thoroughly enjoyed experiencing Switzerland during this beautiful time of year, peaceful and scenic. The location was perfect, 15 minute walk from train station, and lovely Vally view, the property had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host provided clear, helpful instructions that made everything easy.

Lovely large apartment with everything you need. Great comms and directions from host including advice on things to do and places to see. Also a folder in the property with lots of useful info. Setting is amazing just on outskirts of Lauterbrunnen but easy to walk there and bus stops right outside.Amazing view and lovely and quiet, we loved it.

This is an incredible place to stay - the best we’ve seen across several stays in Lauterbrunnen. The view is unbeatable and the host is beyond accommodating and incredibly responsive. They provided a pack and play and high chair for our child when they otherwise didn’t have to. The host also helped us find replacement items for our lost luggage. Don’t miss this - stay here and you’ll be so happy you did!
