Chalet Schweizerhof is a newly-renovated, 2-bedroom holiday apartment on 2 levels with modern conveniences and chic Swiss Chalet charm! It’s conveniently located just a short walk from the centre of the family-friendly “car-free” village of Wengen.



This apartment sleeps 4 - 5 people:

Bedroom 2 = 1 bunk bed, 1 single pull-out bed



All beds are European sizes.

Apartment location - being just a 300m walk from the train station, 250m to the nearest supermarket and 400m to the cable car and nursery ski slopes, mountain hiking trails and ski areas are just a few steps away!



This cosy and homely 2-level apartment is on the 1st floor and garden levels of the Chalet Schweizerhof. Stunning views of the Breithorn, Tschingelhorn and Lobhorn mountains from the spacious and peaceful, west-facing balcony provide a magnificent backdrop to the chalet-style décor.



Upstairs is the open-plan living / dining / kitchen area as well as a full bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped for all your culinary needs, and you can prepare traditional Swiss favourites with the cheese fondue set or raclette grill. While busy in the kitchen, everyone can stay entertained with free Wi-Fi, cable TV and a large selection of books, board games and DVDs.



Downstairs is the master bedroom with a king-size bed and the second bedroom with a bunk bed with a single trundle bed underneath. There is also a shower room and access to a west-facing terrace.



Note that the washing machine and tumble dryer are in the chalet's shared laundry area outside the apartment. There is also the added convenience of a communal heated ski and boot room to keep your ski equipment warm and dry.

What you should know...



Although Wengen is a "car-free" mountain village, arriving by car is no problem. There is a large multi-storey car park at Lauterbrunnen train station, with trolleys for your luggage and lifts to the station platforms. It is just a 14-minute scenic cog train ride up to Wengen. The trains depart every 30 minutes until 9.30 pm and then hourly. Taxis are available for hire at Wengen train station if you require assistance to your chalet.

The 2nd bedroom contains 1 bunk bed and 1 pull-out bed which are more suitable for children than adults. There is also a new sofa bed in the living room.
