We had an outstanding stay at Villa Mest Pepp, and so much of that comes down to our host, Giacomo. He was incredibly helpful from the moment we booked until the day we left — answering questions ahead of time, offering genuinely useful local advice, and even meeting us in person despite our arriving past midnight. He patiently walked us through the washing machine, the oven, and the coffee maker, and gave us great tips on parking, beaches, and restaurants throughout our stay. He welcomed us with local pastries, along with wine and local delicacies — a wonderful first impression that set the tone for the whole trip.The accommodations were perfect for our family of four. Honestly, we spent far more time outside than in — the covered patio and pool became the heart of our stay. The grounds are meticulously kept, full of interesting plants, and the pool was pristine every single day; we used it morning and night, and Giacomo kept it spotless throughout our visit.The location is ideal — secluded enough to feel peaceful and private, yet close enough to the town of Monopoli whenever we wanted to head in on a whim. It's also conveniently positioned for exploring the region, well placed for day trips to the zoo, Ostuni, and Alberobello, among other nearby sights.We'd unequivocally recommend Villa Mest Pepp and are already looking forward to returning. It's a real gem, and Giacomo's evident care for both his property and his guests makes the experience even more special.
