We do apologize that there was a slight delay in initial communication back to you but you initially emailed at 4:30 AM to request someone look at the baseboards bc they were noisy when they click on and off and our office does not open until 9am. We itemize instructions in emails as well in the guest guidebook for guests to call our main line listen to the prompts and choose extension 2 for afterhours emergencies. We have someone on call 24/7. Upon you calling at 9:17 am to report there was a heat issue, a tech was immediately contacted and sent out to investigate the issue and then replaced the baseboards. It is unfortunate that maintenance was required during your visit but sometimes homes require some maintenance as sometimes things stop working correctly. I am sure you have experienced similar type things if you are a homeowner yourself. The technician did go back to dbl check the baseboards to make sure they were in proper working order after you reported the new ones were not working when in fact they were. We also instructed that baseboards work much different than regular central heating systems in that you have to set the temperature and leave them alone for a few hours to get up to temperature then adjust from there. Set Temperature cannot be constantly adjusted up and down in extremes as that will cause them never to be able to regulate and can cause extreme of being hot and then cold . We are sorry you were unhappy with your stay but the BBO team addressed your concerns quickly and ensured the heat was in proper working for your stay. There were 2 long stays before and after your visit both guest families reported in their feedback they were happy with their stays, had no issues, would be back in March for Spring break. Overall this home is booked frequently and is visited often by the owners to keep everything in good shape.

We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences you incurred during your stay. Upon reviewing our phone and email logs, we did not see a missed call or email from you but did see where our team missed your text as it came in after hours during an electrical storm outage which resulted in a tremendous amount of texts and call volume. We do wish you would have reached out to us via phone so we could have quickly dispatched a team member to rectify the issues. We have team members to answer and take messages 24/7. We hope you will reconsider and come back and stay with us in Summit County!

Please let us assure you that our local Field Operations Team is following up and will make sure these issues are addressed with our team. Hopefully, you called our local office so a team member could promptly address these items for you. Unfortunately, our team and local area were caught off guard by the sudden lack of supplies available in the stores at that time due to massive impact of increased demand at that time. We also apologize there were freshly washed towels left in the washing machine that were overlooked by our housekeeper. We appreciate when guests want to help but sometimes that can lead to items being overlooked as the housekeepers are bringing fresh linens and towels on each visit. We hope you will visit us again when the county allows tourists again and know that our team has been working diligently to install new protocols and procedures going forward with COVID to protect our staff, guests, and owners.
