This custom built lodge will have you feeling like you are a world away, but you are only steps away from putting your toes in the water with access to beautiful Lake Sinclair. You will love relaxing to a breathtaking morning sunrise on our 2nd story lake view porch or have a quiet dinner overlooking the wooded views. Our large kitchen and open living area provide the ideal gathering and entertaining space for your stay. Located conveniently to shopping and dining in Eatonton at Lake Sinclair. Can comfortably sleep up to 14 people with 6 bedrooms, 2 full baths, 1 half bathroom, 2 washers / 2 dryers, spacious indoor and outdoor entertaining areas with multiple sitting areas, a large conference size dining table, large ground level game room / event room, elevator accessibility, grilling picnic area, large playground and furnished with your luxury in mind. This property is wonderful for large families, groups of friends, corporate events, special events, small groups, conferences, etc. The lodge is suitable for handicap access with our in house elevator. For all events over the allowed guest count (14), please contact the owner directly for details. Please see all house rules prior to booking. NOTE: The lodge is located across the street from Lake Sinclair. Access to the lake front dock is NOT guaranteed during your stay. Please contact the property owner to reserve or check the availability of the lake front dock for your private use. NOTE: This is an apartment style building with multiple private residences. Excellent stay!

The property was spacious and well appointed. Nice view, not too far from groceries and a few restaurants. Our group of 8 was very comfortable and entertained for our 3 night stay!

perfect place for a team retreat

My team and I stayed for 3 nights at Bubba's and enjoyed every minute of it. The houses setup is perfect for a large group - from the kitchen, to family room and the bedrooms it made for a great time. Highly recommend for a large group!

Excellent stay!

My friends and I got together for some board games and DnD and it was a great setup! The space was beautiful and felt very open. We also did a lot of cooking and the kitchen was well stocked. Would recommend for large groups.

Another Picture Perfect Retreat

The Lodge is an amazing place to stay. It's an experience that never disappoints. This is our 3rd year of bringing our church staff here for our annual retreat, and we will definitely be back. A Relaxing Christmas

We had a wide range of ages and there was something for everyone to do. The lodge was clean, cozy, and well stocked. The basement was a great place for the kids to play and the living room and kitchen were perfect gathering places. The sunrise over the lake was breathtaking. Thank you for sharing this amazing lodge for us to make memories.

Sweet 16

My daughter found this location on VRBO to celebrate her sweet 16. It was very spacious and an amazing property. There was entertainment for the kids. The adults admired the morning view. I highly recommend this property and I will book again.

Guys weekend

The pictures dont do it justice. The placehad way more room than we thought it would. We thought wed need to set up in the open area down stairsbut the open floor plan had more than enough room for 10 guys to hangout with no crowding. The place was beautiful and the kitchen had everything we needed. Will definitely book here again.

A True Retreat

This property is our favorite by far. Every detail is considered. Bubbas Lodge is the perfect destination for families, friends, or your staff. The layout is perfect. The host is amazing, responsive, and incredibly thoughtful. The house is beautiful, spacious, and extremely clean. Plenty of trash cans, TVs, and space to gather, talk, plan, and play. We will be back.

Beautiful

The pictures donā€™t give this house justice. The house is spectacular along with the view. I travel all around the world with VRBO, this house was the first that had EVERYTHING we need! This dream house was super clean, more than enough room for me and my family. The owners Christie and Jamie made sure our stay was ABOVE the best, they are very spectacular people! We will for sure be back!

Daughterā€™s wedding

Where do I startā€¦ This location was simply amazing. We had a small intimate wedding and this lovely home accommodated all of our wants and needs. The home owners were SUPER HOST.!!! They were there to assist and support. Nothing short of spectacular.. The home was clean and very spacious, and all of my family members enjoyed their stay.. I can go on and on but I think you get the picture.. I would absolutely revisit..!

Weekend get away at Bubba's lodge.

My family and I frequently travel to different destinations and always rent homes to accommodate us. While Bubba's is a brand new rental (we were their first), it did not disappoint. The home is brand new and comes well equipped with all that your family will need to enjoy their time at the lake. The lodge is located on the second floor to which you can access via an elevator which makes access easy for all, especially anyone with issues climbing stairs. Once inside the lodge is very spacious, 6 bedrooms, a very large open area where the family can gather and the best part (in my opinion) is the lake view. Outside the sliding door to the front is a very large covered deck where you can sit and enjoy the view and/or watch TV. While the lodge is not lakefront the owners own the lot & boat dock that is located directly across the street and you are able to access it at your leisure. The owners were very responsive and attended to all of our needs. Overall, my family and I enjoyed our trip to the lake and Bubba's lodge.

Amazing Property!

Our oldest son graduated from GCSU and we wanted our extended family to stay together to celebrate. Recently our gatherings have been for sad occasions, so we really were looking forward to being happy together. The property is stunning - new, clean, huge, with beautiful views! We also rented the dock and brought our small boat, water floats, etc. The kitchen was very well stocked. I had brought extra plates, silverware, etc. but they were not needed. Everything about the house is top-notch. It is a duplex - the owners live on the other side of the house but it still felt private. There were so many gathering / seating areas all around that a large group feels very comfortable and can spread out. The first level is perfect for young adults / teens - foosball, pool table, corn hole, and an old fashioned video game console. The bedrooms were very quiet, and the beds and bedding was super comfortable. All of the rooms were large, particularly the kitchen and living room areas. Truly an amazing house and a wonderful time was had by all. A+

Lovely Design

Home was clean and pretty much as pictured. Owners were very responsive throughout our stay about concerns. Minor improvements would be trash cans amd hangers in the bedrooms. Home gave us plenty of space to spread out or gather together. The porch lake views are so relaxing!

Beautiful home but more privacy needed

The pros is the residence is breath-taking. The beds are very comfortable, and the place is spotless and well-stocked. The con is although the description states the owners reside on the property it didnā€™t translate until I got there that I would be sharing the house with the owners and several tenants. You are renting a PORTION of the house and the elevator and downstairs is shared with others. The portion of the house we rented had numerous family photos in it. We felt as though we had violated someoneā€™s personal space. We saw the owners numerous times daily the 3 days we were there. The home is beautiful but next time I will give up the breath-taking views if that means I will be watched the entire time. No thank-you.

Best family vacation home

Beautiful Home

Such a great weekend spent at an amazing home. Our group was made up of older teens and adults. We had a fantastic time and thoroughly enjoyed this home with all its amenities. Bubbaā€™s lodge is very well stocked and has plenty of space. Our group would definitely stay here again! The owners are so easy to work with and were very accommodating. Love this home!!

Amazing Home made for an Amazing Trip

We went for a short weekend trip with friends and we all brought our kids. The kids ages ranged drastically from 3, 7,12, and two 18 year old teenagers. This home provided enough space for everyone comfortably and entertainment for everyone. We had a great time. Plenty of items to cook with, comfy beds, and the home was very clean. Just a short walk to the dock to launch our boat. We had a great time.

Family vacay 2022

Our family had an amazing vacation. The house was absolutely perfect for our size family. From the beginning to the end we enjoyed everything from the fun game room downstairs to the porch to sit on and see the view of the lake. Wish we would have known about reserving the dock across the street when making reservations but that was a minor detail. We actually met the owners during our stay. Very nice people. Would stay again.

Family Fun at the Lake

Enjoyed our family time at Bubbaā€™s Lodge. Lots of room for all of us. Everything was clean and welcoming. Able to tie up our boat at owners boat dock during our whole stay. Elevator was nice to have and worked fine. Kitchen well stocked. Beds very comfortable. Really big common areas and kitchen. Had a little issue with the stove-top not keeping a steady heat setting. The door lock on one of the bedrooms was hard to open. The owners live in one side of the building and weā€™re very helpful when we had questions. Itā€™s hard to tell from the pictures that the house is not actually lake front but is across the street from the lake. There is a nice view of the lake from the second floor. Bubbaā€™s Lodge is a wonderful place to gather for family fun at Lake Sinclair!

Great place for family get togethers!

We chose Bubbaā€™s Lodge because it was just a good central location for our family to gather for the holidays, and it definitely exceeded our expectations! The set up was great for our group (8 adults and 5 kids). It was definitely designed with families in mind so that we each had our own space but a nice gathering area. We enjoyed that the common areas felt cozy, but still felt big enough and had plenty seating for everyone to spend time together. Everything was decorated beautifully for our Christmas stay, and the owners even set up a little hot cocoa bar for the kids to enjoy when we arrived. The kids loved the playground outside and the rec area downstairs. The rec area had an arcade game, pool table, and football table and then tons of open space to run around (our kids brought scooters and a football and had plenty of space to do both). It was nice to have lots of options available to burn off energy even when it was raining. The owners were very responsive and offered access to the lake/dock and fire pit via their property across the street. We did not get a chance to use those amenities due to the weather and our short stay, but the view was beautiful! Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely book again for future family gatherings!
