With views for miles, those looking for a view, peace and quiet will not be disappointed. The cabin sits just 3 miles from downtown Clayton, on Screamer Mountain facing South Carolina. With upper and lower wrap around decks, there is plenty of places to sit and enjoy the views. The lower deck is covered, with ceiling fans for enjoying the views. There is a large, flat parking area with easy access to the cabin.
Inside, there are two bedrooms and a loft area for sleeping or taking an afternoon nap. There are two full bathrooms and an open kitchen with ample counter space for those who want to cook their own meals. An open family room allows for relaxing in front of the tv or playing games at the dining room table. Downstairs the game room supplies fun for all with a full-sized Arcade Console and flat screen tv. There is a full-sized sofa sleeper in the game room as well.
The master bedroom is downstairs off the game room and allows direct access to the lower covered wrap around deck. The master bathroom includes a jetted tub for relaxing after a day of hiking some of the nearby waterfalls. The laundry room is downstairs and includes a washing machine, dryer and wash basin.
Cell phones will either be spotty or not work at this location, however, Internet is provided so you can use the VoIP service offered on most phones (Voice Over Internet Protocol).
We supply 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom 2 two rolls of paper towels in kitchen, along with hotel size soaps, laundry detergent and shampoo. Hopefully this will be enough basics to give you time to go shopping once you have settled in.
