See and hear the Atlantic Ocean from Seas the Day on Pelican Way, a 2 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment that has everything you will need to vacation in St. Augustine! Seas the Day is located in a quiet, beach-front residential neighborhood where you can walk to the beach in just 3 minutes. Seas the Day's beach aka Butler Beach is one of the most beautiful and definitely the least crowded beach in St. Augustine!

At Seas the Day, you'll enjoy a peaceful vacation at the beach while still having convenient access to the busy Historic Downtown area. Due to its central location on Anastasia Island, everything St. Augustine has to offer is either within walking distance or a short drive away.

The best feature of Seas the Day is its proximity to the beach making beach days and catching sunrises over the Atlantic Ocean a breeze! Another cool aspect of Seas the Day's location is easy access to the Intracoastal where you can launch boats or other watercrafts, and enjoy incredible sunsets at Frank Butler Park West (2 min. drive or 10 min. walk away).

Property is located in a quiet residential beachfront neighborhood. The neighborhood is on the East side of A1A Blvd, so you do NOT have to cross A1A to get to the beach. You can take an easy stroll down the street to the beach or drive onto the beach via the vehicle access point that's in the neighborhood (see details below).

Seas the Day Highlights:

- Walk to the beach in just 3 minutes via an easy sandy path through the dunes. There is also a boardwalk path to the beach only a 5-min. walk away.

- Or, you can drive or ride a bike onto the beach via Matanzas Avenue Ramp, which is only two blocks away in the neighborhood! Bike rental shop is just a 5-min. walk from Seas the Day.

- Atlantic Ocean view.

- 2 private balconies (east-facing & west-facing). Front east-facing balcony with ocean view is covered, so you can dine al fresco or read a book in the lounger even when it rains. Back west-facing balcony has a seating area & hammock to relax in.

- 55-inch flat screen smart TV with cable & Netflix.

- High speed WIFI.

- Fully equipped kitchen with everything you'll need to cook meals and two coffee maker options (1 standard and 1 Keurig).

- Full bathroom (bathroom can be accessed from the master & the main living area). SHOWER ONLY. We do provide a portable bath tub for guests traveling with babies or toddlers. It is a newborn-to-toddler tub with sling, so it is perfect for infants, babies and toddlers (up to 25 pounds). If you are traveling with a baby or toddler, we will leave it in the bathroom for you to use during your stay. Just make sure your reservation reflects this when submitting your booking request so we're aware. :)

- Guest bedroom has a queen-sized bed & the large master bedroom has a king-sized bed. You can see the ocean and access the front balcony from the master bedroom.

- Bath & bed linens provided.

- Beach towels, beach chairs, cooler, boogie boards & games provided.

- Outdoor shower & on-site parking available (limited to 1 vehicle).

- Close to grocery & liquor stores, restaurants, shops, St. Augustine Amphitheater and the Historic Downtown area. Plenty of parking downtown or you can easily take an Uber/Lift.

- NO WASHER/DRYER ON-SITE.

- The property features 2 separate private apartments. This listing is for the second-level apartment that has 2 bedrooms & 1 bathroom. The entrance for this listing is on the ground-level with a private interior stairwell to the apartment and its two balconies, which take up the entire second floor.

- Both apartments have separate entrances (this listing's entrance is on the left & the other unit's entrance is on the right). Common areas are the outdoor shower (located on the left side of the property) & parking. The apartments can be rented separately or together by the same group, subject to availability. Please contact the host about renting both apartments.

A note on the cleaning fee:

The cleaning fee is a one-time fee for the entire stay and 100% of it goes to our cleaner. All linens are professionally cleaned by a local company and that expense is covered by the host instead of our guests. While we ask guests to maintain a good level of cleanliness during their stay, we do not require our guests to complete an extensive checkout procedure unlike a lot of other hosts. At Seas the Day, our guests are only asked to kindly do the following before departure:

- Place used towels in bedroom hamper
- Rinse off any used beach items so they are not sandy and return to closet
- Load & run the dishwasher
- Turn off lights & electronics

Quiet beach getaway
This was a wonderful home and right next to the beach. Enjoying sunrise on the deck was our favorite part. The beach was just a short away. I can't wait to return!

We are St. Augustine natives who absolutely love this town! If you enjoy history, the water, good food, kind people, and easy living then you will love St. Augustine as well.

Our Property Manager, Betsy, will be your main point of contact. All information pertaining to your reservation and other communications (before & during your stay) will be sent through Vrbo messaging. Betsy will be readily available should you need anything during your stay. Vrbo messaging is the preferred contact method and should be used, unless an urgent matter arises during your stay requiring immediate assistance. In such event, you will find Betsy's phone number in the Welcome book.

You'll be close enough to Historic Downtown and all the other attractions St. Augustine has to offer, but you won't have to deal with the crowds and noise. Only a 3 min. walk to the beach, so you can catch the sunrise every day and easily go back & forth to use the restroom or grab things you need on long beach days. It is the widest beach in St. Augustine, so you can enjoy it no matter the tide and have plenty of space. It is also the least crowded beach b/c there are no condos or hotels; just private homes. You can catch the sunset over the Intracoastal at Frank Butler Park West (2 min. drive or 10 min. walk). Great restaurants, grocery stores and other conveniences are close by. Hiking trails and other beach accesses (i.e., Matanzas Inlet) are a short drive away. Boat, fishing and kayak rentals are available at Devils Elbow Fishing Resort located a few miles south. Bike rentals available at A1A Cycle Works (within walking distance). Ride share services (i.e., Uber & Lift) readily available in area.
