I love the location. The people at check in were not very helpful. The place could be cleaner and better maintained. The bed in the living room was a little weird. Soap and water for cleaing and better maintenance for the property

Great amenities, very nice/clean room. Elevator situation is terrible

We were on the 16th floor so carrying luggage up and down the stairs really wasn't an option. There are only about 7 elevators in the entire Hotel, and it's a HUGE hotel. Elevators were broken half the time, and at one point only 2 elevators on the opposite tower were working. This was a quarter mile walk from our room, then there was a long line waiting to get onto the elevators, then we had to walk all the way back to the car on our side of the hotel. So we walked half a mile and waited 45 minutes to get down the elevators with our luggage. Overall, the room is nice, spacious, great view, and the laketowne wharf amenities were great. In reading up on the place though, it seems as if the Elevators are a consistent problem. The hotel needs to find a way to build more elevators or upgrade the ones they have. Even when they were all working it was a super slow process on and off, every time. We also emailed, texted and called Vacasa to accomodate an extra hour for late checkout b/c of the elevator situation and all of our luggage and they never responded.

Fun at the beach

The location was perfect! Right in the perfect spot in town & by the beach! Getting to the beach was easy. The resort had a ton to offer: pools, restaurant, bar, etc. The views were also great from all sides of the resort. The only complaint about the resort is how big it is, lots of walking & elevator rides. The elevators were almost always super crowded with long lines which was not fun. Our room was nice, kitchen was great. When we got there, the floor seemed a little bit dirty/sandy. It should have been swept and mopped before our arrival. The couch also seemed dirty. None of us sat on the couch due to the dirtiness and the leather in the hot weather is not ideal. Everything else was cleaned well. We would have liked more seating in the kitchen. A small table to eat at would have been nice. We also feel that the area by the bunk beds needs a light, for whoever is staying in the bunk beds. The kitchen tools provided were perfect, but we could have used a pizza pan, an oven mitt, and more baking trays.
