Cozy, comfortable carriage apartment 5 miles from Petoskey. This second-story 864 sq ft carriage apartment has a full kitchen including side-by-side refrigerator, gas stove & oven, dishwasher, microwave, Kuerig coffee maker or 10-cup coffee maker, and toaster; two bedrooms, one king & one queen, two full bathrooms with heated floors, washer & dryer, and HD Smart TV with Amazon Prime and Hulu included.

The kitchen is fully stocked with plates, bowls, drinking glasses & coffee mugs, silverware, pots, pans, a small crockpot, baking pans and dishes, and paper products. Complimentary bottled water, K-pods, drip coffee, tea, hot chocolate, sugar, and creamer are provided.

Sleeps 4 easily; A twin air mattress is also supplied, to comfortably accommodate up to 5 people.

Free WiFi Hi-speed internet, air conditioning, electric heat, and pellet stove for cozy, supplemental winter heat. Private access and decks, warming / dry room for winter enthusiasts.

A propane grill is located on the upper deck, a small fire pit with chairs is located on the lawn, and a ground-level deck has a patio table and four chairs.

Perfect for soccer, softball, or baseball tournaments, snowmobilers, skiers, kayakers, and outdoor enthusiasts. Centrally located between Boyne Mountain, Nubs Nob, and Boyne Highlands. 5 miles to downtown Petoskey or shopping plazas and restaurants, 1/4 mile to Petoskey Snowmobile Club; 1/2 mile to the Bear River with kayak access; 1.5 miles to Click Road soccer complex; 3 miles to River Road Sports Complex (soccer, softball, disc golf, Bear River access), 5 miles to Walloon Lake. Easy drive to local wineries and breweries, as well as local area beaches, parks, golf courses, walking, hiking, and bike trails.

Local shopping, activity, & dining guides are provided for guests, along with maps for local walking, hiking, and biking trails.

No smoking &/or vaping in the apartment.

Perfect spot for Skiing, Golf, or fun getaway. Me and my friends stayed for the weekend Host live right by but don’t be drawn away. Hosts Jeff & Shawn greeted us when we arrived and were awesome our whole stay offering extra pillows, heating options etc. Great people! The Cozy stay is close to all the main attractions keeping it easy on the car. Can wait to come back!

Five stars! Cozy, warm, well-appointed for all of our needs. The little details make it extra special--salt and pepper, paper plates and silverware, warm floors, nice towels and excellent communication! We loved the pellet stove after a long cold day skiing or hiking. We have stayed here several times and hope to be back again!Jeff and Shawn are rockstar hosts. Highly recommend!

Everything about the stay was wonderful. The house was so clean and stocked with essential supplies. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Warm, comfy, cozy environment. Hosts were wonderful and easy to contact. Peaceful quiet environment.

This property was super nice in a quiet area about a 7 or 8 minute drive from Petoskey. Just about every amenity you could think of was provided includuing an outdoor fire pit complete with firewood, kindling and fire starter. It also has a locked storage garage where you can store bikes, ski equipment, etc. The mattresses in each bedroom were excellent and the two full bathrooms for two couples were just what was needed. Couple all these things with the friendliest of hosts and you have the perfect northern Michigan escape (45 min. to Mackinac City). The unit was very nicely appointed and accessible. Unless you cannot climb one set of stairs, this unit should make your finals list.

We stayed at this property for several days and knew on day one that we would be back! Shawn and Jeff were such gracious hosts, so warm and welcoming! They had the place stocked so well, it was such a treat to see how well thought out everything was…they truly didn’t miss a thing. This was also one of the cleanest rentals we’ve ever stayed in. It truly felt new! We can’t recommend staying here enough!

Clean, Cozy, and Perfectly Located – A Wonderful Stay in Petoskey!We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Shawn and Jeff’s apartment in Petoskey! The space was spotless, cozy, and beautifully maintained—exactly what we were hoping for. It felt warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a true home away from home.The bed was super comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped, and everything was just so clean and well cared for. It’s clear that Shawn and Jeff put a lot of pride into their property.Shawn and Jeff were also fantastic hosts—friendly, responsive, and made sure everything was smooth from check-in to check-out. Highly recommend this lovely apartment to anyone visiting the area. We only wished our stay was longer.

Honestly was unsure with the brown barn carriage house and being on the owner’s property. BOY, were we WRONG! This house is one the best VRBO rentals we have stayed at. Clean, has all you need, comfy beds, ample parking, and much more! The owners are very communicative and helpful. Great bath towels, heated floors, Ac units in each room! Laundry. All kitchen essentials you need. Even phone chargers (we forgot one) and coffee to-go cups. I mean, seriously! Perfect for 2 couples. If you are on the fence with this one, book it! You won’t be sorry. Great fire pit too. This will be a repeat visit with hesitation!

Best vrbo in lower michigan.

This rental was a dream property. Comfy beds, large bathrooms, well stocked kitchen. More amenities than ive ever seen. We really enjoyed our evenings there after hitting the beaches and sightseeing by day. Thanks for the memories. Mike, Margie, Jamie and Todd.

Excellent!

We used this as our base for seeing Mackinac Island, which is about 45 minutes away. It was very comfortable, spotless, and had all the amenities we needed for our 2 night stay. We were welcomed upon arrival by Jeff and Shawn and given a rundown on the property and how to use the AC and other items in the unit. The online listing and photos were very accurate and the place very well appointed. Thanks for a great place to stay!

A lovely family friendly stay

This rental was everything we wanted and needed! The hosts were sooo friendly and checked in on us multiple times. They even let our daughter pet their goats in their backyard which made her day! The apartment was impeccably clean and had so many small amenities which was lovely. We definitely would stay here again or recommend it to a friend!

Perfection

This property was by far the nicest rental I have ever stayed in. The hosts truly thought of every detail in what you might need- charging cables, bug spray, kitchen utensils, bottled water, etc. The place was thoroughly cleaned and set up like a magazine. Jeff and Shawn were responsive to my messages, and usually replied within 10 minutes. This is a gem of a place, and I will be telling everyone about it!

Quiet, clean and comfortable

Superb communication with owners, easy check-in/check-out process, and a clean and well-appointed apartment. I would highly recommend to anyone who needs somewhere to stay in the area assuming you are comfortable climbing stairs to get in and out.

We love staying here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The property is great and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hosts are great and very attentive. Incredible stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our girls weekend. Jeff and Shawn were very friendly, accommodating and helpful when planning our weekend out. We have lived on our property since 1986, and built both our home and the VRBO rental property. We enjoy our community as well as the surrounding communities, and all they have to offer. After our son and daughter-in-law built their own beautiful home and moved out of the apartment, we wanted to share our rental with others who enjoy beautiful Northern Michigan and everything it has to offer!
