Beautiful barn.

Very welcoming barn, Very clean everything you need and more. Excellent location easy to travel around to other parts of Cornwall. Lovely and quite.

Great base for exploring Cornwall

Perfect location off A30 for exploring north, south and central Cornwall. Lovely light kitchen/diner/lounge on first floor with two bedrooms that offer plenty of room. TV snug an added bonus.

Perfect bolt hole

Beautiful and peaceful property. Ideal position for getting around both north and south coast. Very well equipped and decor to die for.

Excellent barn conversion.

The barn was as described. It was very well decorated and furnished, with excellent bathroom fittings. High quality toiletries were supplied. The location was very quiet even though there are other properties adjacent. The location was easy to find with the directions supplied.

Accommodation, Location were very good . This compensated for the chaos of dealing with HomeAway at the start of the booking process, but all went well once we were dealing directly with Christine. help.

We completely agree the booking process with HomeAway was difficult. Since your booking earlier this year the booking system has changed significantly and should fortunately be more streamlined for future guests.

The place is really lovely - ideal for a family of 4

Our stay was really good - the barn at Tremodrett is really well placed to visit the areas around Newquay and the north coast which we particularly like. There was also an awesome large Soft Play and activity place in St Austell called Kidzworld which is worth a trip if the weather isn't great. The accommodation itself is well worked out with a great upstairs living area with plenty of large skylights to let the cool air in. The Cornwall Services are handily placed really close by and on the whole we found the location very convenient.

Cornwall escape

A very pleasant accommodation in a good location. Best not to travel when its dark as it was quite hard to find at night. Tucked away on a quiet country lane. The top floor is a living area and can fet quite warm. Downstairs are 2 bedrooms. Bed are a little firm, so be prepared. Overall quiet a nice spot to stay. Hosts were very friendly and helpful.

The Velux windows do open so the temperature (together with the French and dormer windows) can be regulated. We appreciate bed comfort is very individual. All our beds are medium rated.

A little gem well hidden away

Tremodrett is a well-equipped cottage in a countryside location, ideal for a perfect Cornish break. Sleeps 4, two bedrooms with comfortable beds, Good WiFi, parking, local walks. The barn is beautifully decorated and, on a sunny day, one can enjoy the delightful patio. Christine could not have been more accommodating and helpful in ensuring our stay went as smoothly as possible. Thank you.

High Standard of Accommodation

We enjoyed staying here very much. The design and decorative details make it a cut above most holiday rental accommodation and even smarter than home in many ways! The beds were really comfortable too, which is always key to our enjoyment. For our purposes we missed outside storage space for kit and and I think the non-stick saucepans have had their day. In every other way it was a lovely place to stay and I can highly recommend it. Christine was a pleasure to arrange the visit with too. Thank you!

Excellent Accommodation

We had an enjoyable 4 night stay at Tremodrett House. It is a beautifully decorated home-away-from-home with all the amenities for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The kitchen has all the appliances and equipment that we needed for preparing meals including a large refrigerator freezer and dishwasher. The washer/dryer was very much appreciated by us as this was one stop on a two week trip and enabled us to keep our suitcases of manageable size. The location near the A30 was also convenient for seeing the many sights in beautiful Cornwall. The WiFi connection was very good as well. The owner was very responsive to our requests for information and assistance. It was a 5* experience!

Beautiful accommodation in very quiet surroundings

Hosts were great with communication, accommodation was stunning, clean and had literally everything you would need; shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, all herbs, spices, oil, kitchen roll!! Very well stocked crockery and equipment too. Small point- cupboards and drawers were so well stocked there wasn't much room for the food we had brought for the week, but only a very minor point. Accommodation is down typically Cornish, very narrow roads, so walking would not be advisable to town. A perfect base for both North and south coasts. A lovely week filled with memories, as always, sad to leave beautiful Cornwall.

Cosy Base for Excursions around Bodmin

We truly enjoyed our stay at this lovely barn - decorated with style and taste we immediately felt at home. We also appreciated the welcome package, a bottle of wine, milk, cookies, coffee and tea. We used the barn as a base for hikes at Bodmin Moor as well as Dartmoor. Next to the moors we also explored the coast at Bedrithan Steps and had a splendit day there. We were lucky with the tide and arrived at almost low tide which gave us plenty of time to explore the beach to its far away end. The weather was also kind to us with only one rainy day that we used to explore the small coastal towns of Fowey and Polperro. Thanks to Christine and Terry for a very pleasant stay.

A fabulous holiday cottage in a lovely peaceful location

We have just returned from a lovely week staying in this beautiful cottage. We were blessed with amazing weather which was an added bonus. The cottage was a great size for a family of 4 with 2 lovely bedrooms and bathrooms and a great open plan living, dining and kitchen on the top floor. Everything was spotlessly clean. We didn't use the snug room but I think if our children had been older this would have been an added bonus. We loved that even though it was an incredibly busy week in Cornwall (half term holiday) it was still incredibly peaceful where we were. Favourite days out included kayaking hire from Fowey River Tours and walking the amazing coastline from Trebarwith Strand to Tintagel. Also the kids enjoyed the beach at Porth Pean. Thanks to Christine for lots of useful information too and for sharing your beautiful home.

Wunderschöne Luxusscheune

Die Lage war optimal um Cornwall zu erkunden. Wir haben die Ruhe dort sehr genossen und netten Kontakt mit einheimischen Nachbarn gehabt. Würden das Objekt auch wieder buchen. Die Abwicklung Checkin- Checkout hat mit den Vermietern super funktioniert.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, fantastische Ausstattung

Die Unterkunft ist gut gelegen, man kommt schnell an Nord- und Südküste. Alle Räume sind sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, und es ist einfach alles vorhanden, vom Wellcome-Tee bis zum sehr angenehmen Duschgel! Wir hatten ein Problem mit einem Duschkopf (vom Vormieter), das wurde von der sehr freundlichen Vermieterin innerhalb eines Tages organisiert/ gelöst! Insgesamt gab es überhaupt nichts auszusetzen, die ganze Familie war begeistert. Danke, Christine!

Generally satisfied.

Overall the property was the bast we have stayed at in Cornwall. The facilities were excellent. our only problem related to accessibility. My sister used a walking stick due to weakness in her right side. As such she had trouble with steps from parking area. Also, though ground floor with en-suite was ideal for her the overall upside down nature of the property was not what we expected.

Our stay at Tremodrett

Christine and Terry are very efficient hosts and we were supplied with detailed information regarding the accommodation. There was a very welcome 'welcome pack' awaiting us when we arrived including a bottle of Prosecco, tea bags, coffee, milk and other essentials. The accommodation is extremely comfortable, superb beds, and the kitchen is well equipped. It is very conveniently situated with St Austell, Padstow and Bodmin within easy reach, and Roche is within easy walking distance for a well stocked Co-op and a very good butcher. All in all we had an enjoyable stay.

Post lockdown holiday

We had a fabulous 2 weeks in Tremodrett. The cottage was exceptionally clean, cosy and well looked after. It had everything we needed for a really comfortable holiday with children aged 7, 4 and 3 months! We have holidayed in the Polzeath area before but were looking for a central location from which to do lots of exploring of both coasts and this really offered this. It’s in a great spot just off the A30 so the north and south coasts are easily accessible as long as you don’t mind a 30 minute drive (ideal for us with sleeping children!). Plus we felt nicely cocooned away in the countryside with lots to explore on our doorstep. Would really recommend this lovely spot, thanks again Christine!

Great location

The barn is located in great location with 30mins drive to north or south coastal places in Cornwall. The host Christine was very helpful and emailed us all the useful information needed during our stay. Although the place was supposedly deeply cleaned I thought the cleaning was average. Definitely recommend staying at this place.
