Looking for a beach getaway? Look no further! This two bedroom, 1.5 bath summer cottage in the quiet resort community of Bethany Beach is the perfect family escape!

The master bedroom has a queen bed, and the second room sleeps four with a Queen and Full size bed. Need to sleep more? Extra sleeping options are available with the pull out couch in the living room or daybed with trundle on the enclosed porch. There's room for the whole family!

This cottage is complete with a large outdoor shower, enclosed porch, propane grill and wifi! We are located on the corner of a dead end street that is safe for kids to bike up and down. We are also across from the Bethany Beach trolley stop that brings you right into town for free! Just a short walk/bike ride to enjoy everything that Bethany has to offer! The cottage is also a short walk/bike ride to the Bethany Nature Center and trail that also has a playground. Bring your Kayak/paddle board to launch at the end of the street between Evans and 7th street into the salt pond or hop in the car for a quick 5 minute drive to the Assawoman Canal Trailhead/Kayak launch in Oceanview. The perfect beach getaway is awaiting you.

The property was older but clean and loved. It was in a nice quiet neighborhood and we could walk to the beach, to restaurants, and to a wonderful coffee shop.

Cute, nicely decorated beach cottage, walking distance to everything! Our family of five was very comfortable staying here during some very hot, humid weather. We had one small issue with the grill and the owners were very responsive. Highly recommend if you love Delaware beaches!

Great location, cozy cottage

We enjoyed our stay. The parking pass made access to the beautiful beach easy, and the porch was a pleasant hangout spot for games and coffee. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen/dining area very workable. We loved the area and look forward to returning.

Week stay

Great location and convenient walking distance to the beach (adults and teens). Basic equipped kitchen and easy to use outdoor grill. We enjoyed hanging out on the enclosed porch.

Perfect little Cottage

This was the perfect house ! So clean and close to beach. Nice outside seating. Close to restaurants. Nice neighborhood to go for walks. Felt like home not crazy busy with lots of people all around. Very nice and very comfortable.

Lovely Cottage!

We had a wonderful vacation at your lovely cottage!! Everything was so clean and supplied well. Very nice beds and all so cozy. We rode our bikes and we walked to Difebos for our dinner reservation on Tuesday! We love Bethany and all it has to offer. Beautiful, peaceful beach and the area and park is nice to take a leisurely walk. Thank you so much!

Bike Riding Weekend

The cottage is in a nice neighborhood. We rented bikes and had a great time riding around. We went up and down Collins and experienced way less traffic. The bikes were very convenient and enjoyable. Bring a book bag to carry your things. The Landlord is very accommodating.

Absolutely awful stay. Host didnt tell us about the construction being done directly across from the home. She knew we were staying with kids and a baby that have to nap too. This was totally wrong and she then said she would refund us for a night - I had to explain that that wasn’t fair so she said she would do two nights and we agree to that, then went back on her word. And I had to go back and forth with vrbo and they had to settle it . What a nightmare . She also wouldn’t answer her phone for days - horrible trip

Adorable and Comfortable Cottage

We enjoyed our stay here. The house is on a quiet, tree lined road. There were 2 comfortably sized bedrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, a full dining table, comfy living area, and large screened in front room that felt like you were outside but without the bugs. The air conditioners in each room kept it nice and cool. There were plenty of beach chairs so we didn’t have to bring our own. Lisa was a great host and was very responsive when we had a few questions. The parking pass was a big plus but we could also walk or bike to downtown. I would recommend this for any family or small group of friends who wants a great beach experience.

Lovely cottage, peaceful neighborhood

Our family of four truly enjoyed our stay at this cozy cottage. The kitchen is well-equipped, the rooms are nicely proportioned, well lit, and the AC wall units work great. The outdoor shower and grill are pluses, as is the off-street parking. We loved the porch best of all — our oldest used the daybed there for sleeping, quite comfortably, and we all enjoyed it each morning re: having a coffee and listening to birds and cicadas as we watched the dog walkers pass by. It is a short bike ride to the beach, close to a trolley stop, and a short drive to beaches, sites, etc. Overall, this is a great place for couples or families who appreciate a quiet setting at the beginning and end of the day! Lisa our host was responsive and helpful before and during our stay. We will be back!

Cozy Bethany Getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It was clean, cozy and perfect for our needs. The cottage was actually much more spacious than we thought. We are a family of 4 and definitely could have fit more people comfortably. I loved the local decor around the house and the sound of church bells in the morning added to the charm. The highlight for my kids was the outdoor shower after returning from the beach each day. This is also made it very easy to keep sand out of the cottage. Our host was quick to answer any questions, although we didn’t have many questions because everything was well-explained ahead of time. The location was close to the beach (about one light up from the main beach area) and also to Ocean View, where we visited the Ocean View Brewing Company. The beach in Bethany was beautiful and clean. Mango’s was great for happy hour, 14 Global was a great culinary experience for the grownups on our trip, and the flowers all around town are absolutely gorgeous. We hope to come back again next year!

Cozy Cottage at the Beach

Overall, a great visit to Bethany. The cottage is a cozy and comfortable place to stay. Pros: *Great communication with host! *Comfy beds *Nicely sized bedrooms *Quiet, tree-lined street -- very walkable *House stayed very cool with window/wall AC units (even in 97-degree heat!) *Relatively close to the beach (20-minute walk with teenagers, but this was difficult in extreme heat while carrying beach gear) *Very close to a trolley stop, which was convenient to travel to the boardwalk *Use of beach chairs & umbrella was very convenient so that we didn't have to bring our own (although the chairs are pretty old/banged up) Cons: (Please note: Host said she is remedying these issues, but wanted to share an honest review of our stay) *Had some issues with cleanliness when we first arrived--mold in shower and on shower curtain, mattress covers were very dirty/stained (we had to wash them upon arrival), tiny bugs in main bathroom. The remainder of the house was clean. *Wasps were living in the wood above the outdoor shower *Several burners on the stove didn't work & there was dirt in exhaust fan *The washer and dryer are in two different rooms, which makes the transport of laundry a challenge. It would be nice to have a laundry basket on site to help with this. Again, the host was very responsive to feedback and said these issues would be immediately addressed. Overall, it was a nice place to stay in a great, quiet location!

Owner was horrible to deal with!

Our checkin time was pushed back because the home was not cleaned on time. Uneven floors in the hallway, my daughter stubbed her toe bad on the hardwood floor that had a rug stapled to it to even it out. The back bedroom smells like mold, many of the outlets in the home did not hold any plugs, air conditioner in living room leaks onto the sofa. Owner was VERY RUDE upon checkout. We were out by 12:30, actually standing in the yard saying bye to our children. She left a nasty message on my phone as well and also on here. My fiance called her back to ensure her we were out and she started yelling at her. My fiancee is a realtor, in business for 29 plus years. She’s highly upset how we were talked to. Would not recommend this address. I think the condition of the home is not up to the standards of homes we stayed at before through this app. She is actually making you look bad by her behavior. We did not deserve her rudeness!!!

Great family spot

Comfortable cottage for our family of 4. Easy beach access with the parking pass available. Appreciated the library of Disney videos-shocked the kids with the need to rewind the tape :) Especially liked the sun room/porch for morning coffee and past-beach naps.
