Family vacation 2025

Our family had an amazing week at Blue Haven. Excellent accommodation. Bedrooms, indoor living spaces and outdoor living space couldn’t have been better. Looking forward to staying here again.

Summer vacay

We had a GREAT vacay! This house was very comfortable and clean. We had 2 families sharing the house and had plenty of room. Updated bathrooms, great kitchen, comfy beds, etc. The owners were very responsive and great to work with. We would stay here again.

Beautiful home. Kitchen was very well equipped. Everything anyone would need to cook a mealVery nice living space, bedrooms, bathrooms tastefully decorated and comfortable. Loved sitting on the deck and reading. Nice hot tub. Enjoyed paddleboarding and kayaking one the sound. Very graciuos host. Great vacation.

Halcyon days on the outer banks

Fabulous Stay for 2 Families

We had an amazing time, and Blue Haven was the perfect set up for our group of 10 including 4 adults and 6 teenagers. The local is ideal, the house was well equipped and communication before and throughout the stay with the owner was excellent. I highly recommend if staying with extended family or a large group!

Great family house

Mr. Smith Was great to rent from, pictures are very accurate. Nice beach and clubhouse facilities. Everyone is very friendly.

Family vacation

Superb house and host. Great location, something for all ages to enjoy. Beautiful yard with breathtaking views of the sound and sunsets. All the amenities added to the total positive experience of renting this property.

Good overall house at a great location

House is really nice. Convenient located to the shopping center, closeness to the beach, and the community pool. Having access to the kayaks and bikes was really nice.

Great home!

The house was the most beautiful home we have stayed at in 12 years. Bathrooms and kitchen were amazing. Quiet but close enough to the beach. Sound views were wonderful. We would stay there again!

Exceptional Blue Haven

The Blue Haven property provided my family with everything it needed and beyond to ensure a vacation experience that was both comfortable and relaxing. Great stay!

The house was perfect for us. There were 4 adults and 6 kids. The layout of the house was great, and we made great use of the bikes and kayaks! The owners were great to work with and were quick to respond to our questions.

Cozy and quaint

Our family really enjoyed the house and the community. The house was warm and welcoming. The town of Corolla had so much to do and we loved that there was so much to do within walking distance. Definitely one of our favorite rentals and would go back again.

Excited about Blue Haven

This home was very clean on the inside but not so clean on outside, the kitchen is loaded, very comfortable and exactly what we needed for our family of eleven !

Wonderful vacation week

Our group had an excellent stay at Blue Haven! We had everything we needed and more. The location was excellent and the resort amenities were an added bonus. Everyone was able to find something to do all of the time. The house was very clean and the space was perfect. Highly recommend!

Lovely Corolla Light Home

Nicely appointed home with everything you need in a beach neighborhood. Adults enjoyed the biking around with the kids. The waves were big due to the recent storm but all enjoyed the beach & pool complex. Great place for multigenerations to spend time together!

We are a family of 4, myself Clell, Carol my wife, Ian our son and Kendall our daughter. I am in the furniture and home decor industry owning my own business, Carol is an executive IT consultant at Infrastructure Technology her own firm. We reside in Virginia Beach, two hours from Blue Haven and love the Outer Banks, surfing, being on the beach and in the water. I have been coming to this part of the North Banks since 72 (before there was as road or any homes in Corolla) and never get tired of the place.

COROLLA LIGHT RESORT IS A WONDERFUL FAMILY ORIENTED COMMUNITY AND WE HAVE TRIED TO THINK OF EVERYTHING TO MAKE YOUR VACATION GREAT! Our home is located in one of the most unique places on the East Coast! We are next to the Currituck Sound where you can see some of the most amazing sunsets anywhere and within a short walk or bike ride you can be at the Ocean, an Historic Hunt Club (the Whalehead Club), Currituck Lighthouse, Historic Corolla Village, shops & restaurants. Also, the sound-front is community property in our neighborhood with almost 1 mile of waterfront to enjoy, we have a great Oceanfront Pool complex with Life Guarded beaches (in season), tennis courts and a great indoor sports complex with Weight and Cardio rooms. And best of all Highway 12 ends about 1.5 miles north of our home where you can drive on the beach and see wild ponies!! (proper 4 wheel drive vehicles only)

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

We are always improving and investing in Blue Haven to make it a great vacation home and second home for us! It is very well equipped, having visited the OBX for many years before buying our home we have tried to think of everything you will want, plus we use the house ourselves in the off season so we have put more into it than the average rental home.. The 3 King Beds are very comfortable and all furniture very nice. The Theater is a great place to catch up on movies plus there is the 50' Smart TV in the great room upstairs and the gourmet equipped Kitchen. There is a great hot tub for 6 that you will want to spend time in daily! One of the best things of all is to sit in the evenings or early mornings on the outside patio under the live oaks and enjoy the sound views and nature with a cocktail or cup of coffee. Take advantage of the community rec center for a workout or take a bike ride or use our Kayaks or SUP's to enjoy the sound. The list goes on and on so come see for yourself!
