What better way to relax in South Lake Tahoe than in a cozy home with a spectacular view of Mt. Tallac? Take in the views while sitting on the back deck BBQing or from inside, where large windows also allow you to admire the views. Thanks to the convenient outdoor dining area, you can enjoy alfresco meals. All the bedrooms have plenty of room, and the two rooms downstairs are equipped with electric fireplaces. A large kitchen is ready for the chef in the group to whip up dinner or an easy snack.

Close to the beaches of big blue Lake Tahoe and the downhill ski runs of Heavenly Mountain Resort, this home is convenient to all the best Lake Tahoe has to offer. If golf is your game, play at Lake Tahoe Golf Course, four and a half miles away, or explore the many hiking and bike trails. A variety of restaurants, shopping, and plenty of nightlife are all just minutes away at South Lake Tahoe. Make sure to visit Pope Beach, only seven miles away, which offers a sandy beach with excellent swimming and picnicking opportunities!

Things to Know
Tahoe is home to many animals. You may experience bears, raccoons, mice, and other animals. Meadows are home to many rodents. When these areas are filled with water or snow, these animals move to homes in the area. You may experience these animals in or near your home.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Lake Tahoe vacation

We had a great stay at this beautiful home. Gorgeous views! The house was spacious, clean, well-stocked, and very comfortable. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us! We would love to come back and visit again.

Dated home

Home is dated. The listing said could hold 4 cars - garage is small depth wise. Can only hold 2 cars - small car in garage and one in the driveway. There's 1 heater in the entire house that's located in the living room. 2 of 3 bedrooms relied on electric heaters for warmth. The 2 downstairs bedrooms each have doors directly to the outside in addition to interior doors - not suitable for kids.

Bring your own spices!

The house was comfortable with a great evening view. The kitchen provided all of the general amenities you would expect. You will need to provide all of your own spices an oils as none were provided.

Nice Spot for a Group Trip

House was cozy and fit nicely our party of people, location is close to many different things, and happy they allow pets so our pup could come with us. Kitchen needed some more utensils/pans if you're planning to come here be sure to pack your own.

Tahoe house

The house was nice and comfy. The only issues we had were mice in the kitchen. As long as you don't leave any food on the kitchen counter, it should be fine. Other than that, location was great and nice neighborhood.

Met Our Basic Needs & Customer Support Still Needed

The home wasn't anything special but it met our needs. Convenient location to Heavenly. Clean. Dull knives (bring your own knives), light on kitchen supplies (bring your own pot and pan), many light bulbs and switches didn't work, the house is very cold but on a good note the house offered a lot of warm blankets. Vacasa Team was reasonably helpful and courteous upon our arrival but I received text messaging from about 6 different numbers so in the course of needing help I wasn't really sure if we would be helped in a timely manner. Home access key pad was broken and no physical back up key was in the lock box. Our entry was delayed almost 2 hours during cold and stormy night. Key pad was fixed the next day around 11:30 am. As such, our vacation was interrupted upon arrival and the following day. We are still waiting for management to process a final promised refund compensation for our inconvenience. Satisfaction with Vacasa communication and response is declining.

Not so great

This cabin is spacious and in a very nice Nieghbor hood. and it’s big enough to my family. The negative things to this place is the bed us so bad I never have any good sleep for 5 night stay. The stove knob is broken and the cabinet hinge is lose the bed mattress cover was dirty the blinds cord stuck and tangle I can see the thick dust in the furnace and cobwebs high ceiling some spiders at the sofa bed. The house need a general cleaning and minor fixes. Our stay was ok but not so great. The house has a nice yard and quite neighborhood that’s a plus.

Tahoe Cabin Experience

Beautiful home in a nice neighborhood. Comfy beds and cozy home. Plenty of room for the entire family, including our dog. Communication with rental company/owners was fantastic. Thank you for a wonderful time of making memories with our family.

Enjoyable stay

Beautiful location! It’s pet friendly so you really have to be okay and understanding to other dog hair being there! Had a great time outside with my little family! The living room view is awesome

Good vacation

We enjoyed our 3 night stay. The home is just right for an average family like mine. It was very clean and comfortable and if we did not have all the smoke the view would have been fantastic but we did get a blood red sunset one evening. I was extremely disappointed that all the towels in the bathroom cabinets were wet--not damp (except 2 bath towels hanging from the shower rack). I was grateful I had brought my own kitchen towels so we could have hand towels. I dried 3 loads of laundry as soon as I got there. The only other thing I did not like was a 10 a.m. check out--that cuts is really close. But I would rent this vacation rental in the future.

Great location!! Hiking and biking trails outside the door!

Very nice home, very comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. Carpets were stained and need a cleaning and the ceiling fan in living room doesn’t work, but box fans are available in the bedrooms and can be used. It was hot during our visit! Light bulbs burnt out in a few places, extra available would be nice. All in all, we had a wonderful visit.

Nice cabin getaway

This cabin is a bit out of the main town with plenty of room. The kitchen is small but well set up. Has a hill along side which was perfect for sledding. The shower was wonderful. The house was dog friendly. The cabin has some quirks. Smallish main entry. Large main room and larger bedrooms.

Great view

Wonderful view of the mountain over the trees. Great quiet location about 10 mins from town and close to ski resorts. Heater was a bit loud but everything else was great. There are space heaters in the rooms that help keep you toasty. There was enough space to let the dog run around.
