The Barn On Main is a Architectural Digest Quality historic building situated on Main Street in Manchester Center. Set back slightly from the street, there is no street noise whatever. The 3 story barn living space faces south and is filled with light. It offers total privacy while also having a sunny well furnished private patio with river and mountain views. Walk to numerous breakfast , lunch and dinner restaurants and shops .

Great location - walkable distance to many restaurants, cafe's and shops. Very responsive hosts! Lovely home! Quiet, well insulated, fully-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, very nicely decorated! Wonderful experience!

Perfect Getaway

The location of the barn is absolutely perfect to be able to walk to shops, restaurants and the Riverwalk. Even though it is in the center of town, it is quiet and peaceful and the back yard overlooks lush greenery that feels secluded. Can't wait to come back again.

This place is our favorite in Manchester. Selfishly, I don't want anyone to know about it because we love it so much. Great location, relaxing environment (inside and outside), and of course great hosts. Melina and Mike are always so wonderful to respond quickly if we have any questions. The Barn on Main was everything it was advertised. The house was impeccably clean, it was more spacious than the pictures make it appear, and the back patio made us feel like we were in the middle of nowhere while still being in the heart of town. Would highly recommend.

The space is beautifully designed with thoughtful touches throughout, making it both stylish and incredibly comfortable. You can tell the hosts put real care into every detail.The location couldn’t be better - we were perfectly positioned to explore everything Manchester has to offer while enjoying a peaceful retreat at the end of each day.What truly set this stay apart were the hosts themselves. They were not only accommodating and responsive, but genuinely delightful people. When an icy winter day hit during our visit, they even stopped by to salt the front walk and check on us to make sure we were safe and comfortable. That kind of thoughtfulness and personal care is rare and so appreciated.If you’re looking for a place that combines beautiful design, comfort, convenience, and exceptional hospitality, The Barn on Main is it. We can’t recommend it highly enough and would absolutely stay here again!

Beautiful Barn in Manchester

We had a wonderful long weekend at the barn in Manchester. The location is very convenient and right in the heart of town. The barn itself is amazingly renovated and well appointed. We will be back this summer!

Perfect location and property

The best location ever. Super walkable and surrounded by outlet shops, restaurants and more. Stunning decor and elegant comfort. Highly recommend and the babbling battenkill brook and fire pit just perfectly Vermont.

Lovely place in the heart of downtown

The Barn on Main is light and bright and very comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped - everything you need. It's right in downtown Manchester, but still very quiet, with a lovely view of the Battenkill from the rear windows and patio.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming barn! The decor was absolutely adorable and gave the space so much character—it felt both cozy and stylish. The thoughtful details, like the toys for the kids and the fully stocked kitchen, made it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful escape while still being conveniently close to everything we needed. Mike and Melina’s property was the perfect location for a night away with a few friends. The house was meticulously clean and perfectly decorated and cozy. The location is perfect right on Main Street. We had a great time and will definitely return!

Excellent location and home!

The home is in a great location. There is a parking spot right out front with easy access to the home. Inside, there are three nicely laid-out levels with two very-clean and tasteful bathrooms. The basement level kitchen-dining/living area is comfortable and looks out over the back yard. Definitely will stay here again.

Wonderful stay in Manchester

We were in Manchester during foliage season for a hiking trip in Vermont. The place was nicely appointed. We were greeted with a beautiful flower arrangement in front entry way and delicious snacks. Location was perfect in the center of town. We visit Manchester a few times an year and plan to stay here again. This was a perfect find.

In the heart of Manchester village, close to everything. When you go inside, you’re away from it all with views of the river and woods out the big back windows. Spa-like surroundings include fresh flowers and bath salts. Simply perfect.
