Casa Rio on the River

Casa Rio is a 4 bedroom, 3-bathroom home on the river.  Casa Rio offers guests satellite Tv, washer and dryer, High Speed Wi-Fi, and BBQ grill. The High-Speed Wi-Fi makes Casa Rio a great choice for those who work remotely. Two bedrooms on the first floor along with one bathroom, and two bedrooms upstairs.  The larger of the bedrooms upstairs has a balcony that you can relax out on and listen to the flowing of the river which is located just behind the property.  There is a sauna room that can be used year-round. This property is Pet Friendly with a Non-Refundable pet fee of $125, due at the time of check in. Two pets under 100 lbs. allowed.

Casa Rio offers guests satellite TV, washer and dryer, wood burning fireplace, sunroom, sauna and two bedrooms on the first floor.

On the first level guests will find a bedroom with 2 queen size beds and a second bedroom with a full-size bed.  Guests can enjoy the fully equipped kitchen, large dining room table, wood burning fireplace, bathroom and sunroom. 

Guests will find two additional bedrooms upstairs - one King bedroom with a private bathroom and balcony access and one Queen bedroom with a private bath.  

All reservations are subject to our rental terms and conditions and cancellation/refund policy. In the event of a cancelation, merchant service charges are non-refundable. If you have any questions, please reach out prior to your stay.



**Please note that during the fall of 2024 and spring/summer of 2025 the town of Red River will be replacing waterlines. Their normal working hours are from 7am-5pm Monday-Friday; however, there might be times that they have to conduct work during the weekends. You can expect traffic distributions and temporary water outrages while they are working. Please note that on-street residential parking might not be available during construction. During these times, access to Red River and Pioneer Creek recreational area might be reduced or diverted. Please be aware that any construction or town activity is not in our control. If you have any questions, please let us know.

Perfect location!

Such a wonderful location. Right on the river for the fishermen (or women) in your crew but easy walking distance to town for the shoppers:)The unit was large (4 bedrooms) to accommodate our group of ten and was well stocked! Even though the town construction is sometimes loud and a mess, I’m sure the upgrades will be well worth it. We had a wonderful time and would definitely return to this unit!

Family Fun

The property had plenty of room for our group of eight. Everything we needed was available to us. It was a short walk to town and being on the river was great. Really liked the condo.

Comfortable stay

The property was as advertised. Clean, quiet, along the river. We had three couples and each had our own bathroom. there is one more bedroom but, it's small. The master bedroom and the one with two queen beds are very large. The kitchen is smallish but, it works. Casa Rio can comfortably sleep 10 adults.

Casa on the rio

Accommodations were very comfortable lots of good pillows. Great dining table. Couch was falling apart.The floors had not been clean since the previous people stayed in there so it was kind of dirty. The fireplace was dirty, we did not use it. kitchen floor had food on the floor from the previous occupants. Lot of room in the bed rooms !

Plenty of space and great location, but the unit is very dated and poorly equipped. Washing machine and grill both broken. Highly recommend bringing your own pots/pans as most here are scratched and rusted. Management was very quick to respond to internet and door keypad issues.

It was ok. The parking was terrible, I know space is limited but it was hard to get in and out. I know too that’s just part of staying in Red River. Downstairs was cold but upstairs was nice.

Do Not Recommend

The property is very outdated, in poor repair, and dirty. The top dishwasher rack is broken and falls out when pulled out to load. The washing machine would not go through the spin/drain cycle. The door on the utility closet came off the track when I tried to open it to get the vacuum (which didn't work anyway). The floors were definitely not mopped before we came (see picture). The back door had three partially disintegrated rugs ground into the dirt and the front entry was dirty as well. There were supposed to be three parking spots designated to us but there was only one which made parking an issue all week. The cabin is down in a whole so the views were not great. The positives: the bathrooms were clean and there was plenty of hot water for everyone to shower.

Accommodating Staff and a Great Place to Stay

The house itself was great! A short walk to the town (too long to carry all your ski gear but easy to walk back in the evening) but far enough to not be disturbed by any late night partying. There are two rooms downstairs (R1- 2 queen beds, R2- 1 twin or full) and two upstairs (R3- 1 queen with ensuite bathroom, R4- King with ensuite bathroom and sauna). One full bath downstairs and two upstairs. We had internet issues on our first day but the office staff went above and beyond to help me get access to internet for some work I had to get done! I REALLY appreciate their help!! The kitchen is small but the dining room table is huge. Plenty of space for everyone. We would definitely stay here again!

"Not adequate as we were told"

We had problems with finding the front door, then problems with the lock. You need signs telling where the parking is! We were told supplies were there or we could pick up at the office. We could not get supplies for 3 bathrooms , 4 bedrooms, total of ten people. We were told "out of supplies" we requested. The heat did not work properly! NEVER get over 60 degress. You need to up date!

Thank you for your review! I apologize if we failed to meet your expectations during your stay and will address the issues with the team and property owner as needed. Our notes do indicate that you called the office because you had gone to the back door instead of the front door of the home upon arrival, but we do not have any correspondence indicating a problem with supplies (we have plenty in stock in our office) or that there was an issue with the temperature. Our phones are answered 24/7 and we have maintenance on call for minor emergencies. If we find an issue that maintenance cannot quickly resolve, we always reach out to a local contractor resolve any heat or plumbing issues ASAP.

Good location on cramped street, decor is overly Christian

We had a great stay and the location is great. The rentals are really crammed in on this tiny street which was not what we were expecting. This caused an issue with no available parking and kids playing outside. The side yard is not fenced and cars are always moving around. The house was clean and everything was smooth. The decor was excessive Christian where Jesus can watch you sleep and you can read bible vs in the bathroom for inspiration. Overall worked for our group.

Family trip

We had a great time skiing and sledding. In the evening we played some of the games that were provide. The sauna was fantastic after a day in the snow. The house was perfect for us.

This was a nice place to stay,close to town. Could use some updates in kitchen pots/pans, oven. 10am check out is too early, maybe 11am actually 12noon would be great since check is after 3pm. Also, inform families that Red River is closed during Oct. 26Thru Nov. 26th. Every place practically closed for "Off Season " . At least offer discounts. But overall I would recommend this cabin. Disappointment

The house itself was nice for sleeping and relaxing. The kitchen is way to small for a large gathering. It fits one, uncomfortably. The appliances were nothing short of terrible. The oven did not work. The utensils, plate ware, glasses and pots and pans were the worst I have ever seen. I have thrown better stuff away. A thrift store would not accept the items. There was no excuse for any of this. The outside grill is garbage and the propane was stuck on on. If you have a trailer good luck. The parking is poor and even single car parking is confusing and customers seem confused on how to utilized.

It was amazing, says the 5 year old. And it was, awesome! Lovely short walk to town. Quiet space. Very roomy. Cozy. Outdoor area spacious and inviting. The river was out the back door about 25 feet. We would definitely stay here, again.

Great Family Getaway

We had our family of four plus two grandparents and two nephews in this cabin and still had plenty of room left! The cabin was very clean, comfortable, and homey feeling! You can tell the owners love their cabin and love spending time with their family in it. The layout was perfect for us and the location was right on the river with a nice backyard, grill, and outdoor seating. We even roasted marshmallows for s'mores on the firepit! We saw deer and ground squirrels daily, which was so fun for the kids. Main street was walkable with a nearby shortcut into town, otherwise a very short drive around the bend. Great stay! We'd definitely stay here again!
