Unit 357 has been recently decorated and is a direct oceanfront condo with beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean from the living room and Master bedroom. 2 bedrooms 2.5 bathrooms. It is furnished with a king bed in the master bedroom and twin beds in the guest bedroom. This condo also includes a fully equipped kitchen, 2 TVs, Smart TV in Living room, WI-FI, books and games for your pleasure. Unit has a washer/dryer and its own internet access to save your phone on data.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love this unit. Have rented it many years. The A/C worked, but seemed to have trouble keeping up during the day. May need a freon check. We think it's time for the all the carpets to be steam cleaned: the regular carpets and the free standing carpets. As we would walk around, our feet kept getting dirty. Other than that, the unit was great!

Also, the people renting the condo's were all very nice. The only major issue was the tap water had a sulfer smell to it when first turned on, had to run it for a few moments to rid the smell.

Water has a sulfur smell to it and couches are very, very soft. Pickleball courts could use some upgrading, lots of dead spots on southern courts.

Life at Summerhouse

It was nicely appointed and well furnished. There were a few negatives as noise carried easily through the walls, could hear the neighbors TV through the walls. Also it has basic cable, wish it was upgraded a little to include rewind and recording capabilities.

Oceanfront View was Awesome, sadly that was ALL that was awesome!

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we made the best of our stay. The view and weather were great but this condo was not. We've been coming to SH for 33 years. We know that it is not unusual to see a bug from time to time but this was insane. The kitchen in this condo was roach infested. I called the office within 30 min. of our arrival and they sent someone to spray immediately. The guy appeared to do a good job but it did not help at all. We smelled chemicals for the next 24 hours while at the same time watching lively roaches crawling all over the countertops, inside drawers, cabinets, even inside the dishwasher! It was horrible. The entire condo though not filthy, felt unclean. We set up our kitchen out on the dining room table where we actually did not see any roaches. We used soap and scalding hot water before using any dishes, cups, silverware, pots, etc. This condo needs some serious help. We saw/ killed at least 12-15 roaches per day. I used more antibacterial wipes during our stay than I used during the entire pandemic. We will NEVER stay in this unit again. Quite honestly, it may have been our final stay at Summerhouse in general which is heartbreaking.

There was food in the silverware drawer, all over the carpet and kitchen floors and to top it off a plate of food was left on top of the fridge, ants on the floor by the slider door, straight pins lodged in the carpet in the second floor bedroom.

Great unit....but....Big mix-up by management upon arrival.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I'm one that rarely complains, however, I have to on this one. The unit was awesome, however, my wife and I received a phone call while driving on the way from Gainesville to SA. Apparently, the owner of our original unit (not 357) was occupying and "failed to notify the SH office". My wife and I had to pull over and look up numerous other comparable options since the SH office staff only provided us with options which were not even as close to nice as to what we originally booked. Finally, after reviewing approx. a dozen options we agreed on 357 (which was very nice and definitely comparable to our original choice). Interestingly, we spoke with guests staying that same week in at least for other units which experienced the same issue. Some coincidence! Whatever the real reason this could have been avoided in advance with some real planning and communication from the SH staff. Regardless of the mis-management and poor planning of the SH staff, the unit 357 is great!
