Condo 456 is an oceanfront townhouse located in the southernmost group at Summerhouse, very close to the pool and the walkway to the beach. The condo has 2 bedrooms, 2.5 baths and a private oceanfront balcony. The entryway, kitchen, living room and bathrooms are tiled. The bedrooms are carpeted, all mattresses replaced in November 2023. Furnishings include a queen, 2 twin beds and a sleeper sofa, washer and dryer, 2 TV's, VCR and internet access. The kitchen and bathrooms have undergone recent remodeling with all new kitchen cabinets. The condo has an attractive tropical decor, primarily blue, green and coral colors.

The dishwasher didn't work as we tried to run it upon our departure.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property needs maintenance and updating. Repairs needed include broken shower doors, some lights don't work, living room fan is wobbly, living room blinds are missing slats, living room furniture is inadequate, old and uncomfortable, plaster and paint in some areas need refreshing.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love the Summerhouse facility and staff,, just not our condo unit.Uncomfortable, cheap furniture. Small outdated televisions, no streaming service available. The biggest inconvenience though is the 2 adjoining units are both short term rentals. As short as 1 day! This attracts inconsiderate, noisy, messy renters with many children. The walls are paper thin and you can hear every footstep and cabinet door being slammed.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Summerhouse facility is wonderful, but unit 456 is below par with other units we've seen and stayed in. The furniture is cheap and very uncomfortable. The 2 tv's are too small. No ice maker. Electrical outlets loose and sloppy. Bathroom fixtures broken and loose.The balcony electrical outlet is rusting away to dust (I'm afraid to plug anything in). Sliding screen is broken. There is black mold around the air vent on the main floor! Now let's go upstairs, the master bed is only a queen size and is very, very hard. The 2 twin beds in the guest br have no headboards. The bi fold doors for the laundry are broken. I could go on,but I'll end my review now. I would be happy to give a Summerhouse representative a tour of this unit and point out these deficiencies.

The staff was very friendly, helpful during our reservations process and during out stay if we needed anything. The location of the townhouse with ocean front view could not have been better. All the supplies were in the townhouse as promised. The unit was very clean. Everything in the unit worked. We would not hesitate to stay at Summerhouse on our next vacation opportunity. Thank you!

It's a combination of factors,including a lack of unit maintenance and some rude staff. This area of the beach is gorgeous but it appears it's time to move on.
