Immaculate Cottage, Walk to Sand Hill Cove Beach

For a turnkey vacation experience, the listed price includes checkout cleaning, bed linens and bathroom towel sets for the occupancy of the property.

Cottage Seas is the picture perfect beach cottage getaway. This newly renovated two bedroom, one bath cottage is right out of a magazine and just a stone's throw from Roger Wheeler State Beach/Sand Hill Cove, one of New England's most beautiful beaches and overlooking Block Island Sound. The home is equipped with everything you will need for your stay down to the Lobster Pot and crackers. A nice outdoor patio and fire pit is a perfect place to wind down and relax after a day at the beach.

Not only can you walk to the beach but this property is within a short walk of the famous fishing port of Galilee where there are a number of quintessential Rhode Island seafood restaurants, fish markets and more. Also located in Galilee is the Block Island Ferry where you can hitch a ride to the gorgeous Island and explore all that it has to offer. There are a number of other beach options in the area including Scarborough State Beach & Narragansett Town Beach, both just a short drive as well as enjoying the Narragansett Pier where there are a number of restaurants, shops and the Historic Narragansett Towers.

Please note during the summer season (late June - Labor Day), this property requires a seven-night minimum, and a four-night minimum in early June. Check-in is no earlier than 3:00 Pm on Saturday and check-out is no later than 10:00 Am the following Saturday.

Commercially laundered linen packages are provided for the occupancy of the property. This includes linens, a towel set (bath towel, hand towel and facecloth) for each occupant, hand towel and bath mat for each bathroom and kitchen towels. Beach towels are not provided unless otherwise specified on the listing. Guests staying for more than one week will incur an additional linen charge. Guests can opt to bring their own linens for a credit. Please inquire for more information.

This home is managed by Sunrise Properties, a local Property Management company run by local Rental Agents, Kim Churas, Kara Churas & Heather Kelley. Beachy!Comfy! Perfect!

This super cute, beachy home was absolutely perfect for my family of 3. Super close to the beach. My husband and I walked down to the ferry and it took us just under 15mins (where we picked up fresh caught lobster!). The beds were incredibly comfortable. It was so helpful to have sheets/pillowcases (and towels!) provided to us. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and we made sure to make use of the huge lobster pot! The living area was cozy and suuuper comfy. It was absolutely wonderful to have a washer/dryer available and we loved having the bathroom a bit away from the living space to help with privacy. Both the indoor and outdoor showers had great water pressure with perfect temps & the outdoor shower was large enough to have your towels inside and not get wet. We loved having a backyard as we played some Putterball and badminton. The grill was on the smaller side but we didn't need anything more than what was provided. The outdoor fire pit was just an added bonus with the comfy seating and pillows. We rarely had to use the A/C unit because the breeze was beautiful. We opened all the windows and doors to let the cross breeze flow. Perhaps one of the only suggestions would be to have screen doors put in to eliminate the potential of bugs flying indoors. We loved having the keyless entry because we never had to bring a key with us for fear we'd lose it. We worked with Sunrise Properties for this location and after a bit of email communication confusion, a question that we had difficulty getting answered was eventually answered quickly and kindly. I would highly recommend working with Sunrise Properties to anyone and we hope to rent through them again next Summer!!

Great week!

This was the perfect spot for our family of three. The location to RW beach was perfect for our 3 year old (steps to the beach) and the house was exactly what we needed- good space, good yard and all new updates within the house. Hope to return one day!

Quiet and peaceful getaway perfect for family of four or less.

The cottage was beautiful inside and out. We loved having the backyard to sit in at the end of the day. We also loved the beach that was so close you could walk to and from the cottage multiple times during the day if you needed to. We used the little Cove beach just to the left of the main one that provided an opportunity for some snorkeling. There is no surf and the water is as clear as glass. The cottage is in walking distance to a clam shack and ice cream joint. And the quiet neighborhoods surrounding the cottage are perfect for evening walks .

Our Week at Cottage Seas

This cozy, but surprisingly spacious, cottage has the perfect location next to Roger Wheeler State Park Beach, which is the perfect beach for families with small children. The cottage is clean, comfortable,updated and has everything you need in the kitchen. It is very evident the owners took special care in updating and decorating the cottage. Our family had a great time as the beach was only a hop,skip and jump away and the air conditioned cottage was a very nice respite to a week of 90 degree weather with tropical humidity. The spacious backyard was great for the kids to run around and play a bit, and there is a nice patio to enjoy a cookout or a fire in the gas fireplace. Unfortunately for us, it was way to hot to have a fire or a cookout during our stay. But hopefully during our next stay here, we will have some cooler evenings to enjoy these nice amenities. Located in a quiet neighborhood, our boys also had a chance to safely ride their bikes around and explore a bit. Thank you for a great week!

I had to contact the manager for the lockbox # despite her promise to send it before the 4 PM check in. I was in the driveway at 4:15 and when she didn't answer the phone or send the code via text as I asked, I left. I went grocery shopping and called her again at 5.30 with groceries in the car sitting in the driveway. The manager should send the code the day before or send it at 4 PM, the checkin time. I didn't like having to call her twice the day of check in after I had emailed her twice, 7 days out and 1 day out. She assured me she would send the code prior to check in and didn't.

Amazing cottage that is a two minute walk to beach

This amazing cottage is newly remodeled and beautiful inside and out. It is a two minute walk to the beach and a 10 minute walk to the water front restaurants. I was very impressed at how homey and relaxing the cottage is. There are area festivals, shopping, fine dining all within a short drive. It is a great location and in a very safe area filled with many nice people. I plan on returning as much as possible. Renting the location is a very easy process and the owners were a delight to deal with. They even have a book to sign in too and to leave a short memory you had while staying there. A very adorable idea and a super friendly connection to the cottage.

Great place & great location!

This is such a great house & perfect for a vacation week at the beach during the summer or a weekend getaway anytime. The location was fantastic, literally a 2 minute walk to the beach. The house is newly remodeled and beautiful, everything is clean and brand new! It has everything you would ever need for your stay. It was close to the town of Narragansett where there a bunch of shops/dining and usually different events on the weekends. I would go back & rent this house in a heart beat. And I would highly recommend this rental to others looking for a great, clean, newly remodeled rental house that is SO close to the beach.

Perfect Cottage steps from the beach!

We stayed at "Cottage Seas" shortly after the owners completed a full renovation. Walking in we first noticed how open, bright and beachy this house is. You could tell the owners really put alot of work and time into making sure their guests were comfortable. The couch.....the couch was SO comfy! We don't really cook on vacation much but the kitchen had everything any cook would want. They even put out New England Cookbooks! One night though we did walk into Gallilee and bought lobsters right off the boat. We loved walking the beach other nights down to George's for cocktails and seafood! We loved that we could just hit the beach anytime we wanted because we were right there. It is literally one minute away. We were able to go to the beach and then come back to the house for lunch before heading back out again. The beach is free for walk-ons so we didnt have to pay for access all week! Evenings on the beach were our favorite though. The kids had a blast playing frisbee and looking for shells and we just relaxed. We were so thankful we never had to pack beach gear into the car. It was so nice to just be able to grab towels and head out. The cottage is located in a very quiet neighborhood (Sand Hill Cove), perfect for families. We never had any issues with noise during our stay. One thing we don't always have on vacation is A/C so it was a welcome amenity. It was hot when we were there and it was nice to sleep comfortably. We had a great time and are definitely planning on coming back to this adorable cottage this summer!
