4 Bedrooms ~ 3 bathrooms ~ 3 living areas! Available Summer 2026 weeks (WEEKLY, Sat to Sat) are open on the calendar - pls confirm availability with owner. Off-season rentals - Multiple weeks, travel nurse assignments or people who need housing due to renovations, etc. may also be considered. 2/10 mile walk to beach. Local ordinances apply.

Beach cottage located on a family-friendly street opposite Ocean Road and Scarborough North & South State Beaches. Great house for families ~ bring the kids, grandkids, in-laws! Central air. Enclosed outdoor shower. A quick and easy 2/10 mile walk to beach. Short drive to Town Beach (walk-on fee applies), Roger Wheeler or Salty Brine beaches. Perfect for extended/multi-generational family!

Great restaurants, local shops, deep sea fishing, mini golf, batting cages, go-carts, Block Island Ferry (Galilee), easy drives to Newport, Watch Hill, Wickford, 40 minutes to Roger Williams Zoo & Providence; 45 minutes to CT casinos; 45 minutes to Mystic Aquarium & Seaport!

We provide bedding and bath towels.

BRING YOUR OWN beach towels & beach gear!

Please self-clean prior to departure; i.e. remove all personal items, place trash and recycling in proper receptacles. Please leave the house as clean as you receive it.

Lower level: Family room with game/dining table; buffet style hutch; mini fridge, twin Captain's daybed; Sleep sofa (queen/memory foam) & loveseat; small desk/desk chair; bathroom with shower stall; bean bag chair for additional seating/sleeping; 55" TV

First level: fully-applianced eat-in kitchen; 2 bedrooms (one = Queen bed/26" TV, one = two Twin beds or combine for King); bedrooms have blackout curtains; sitting area, bathroom w/shower stall

Second level: living room w/sectional, 49" TV, deck, 2 bedrooms each with Queen bed; primary BR has 39" TV; bedrooms have blackout curtains; full bath (shower/tub combo) with washer & dryer.

Central AC; Outdoor H/C shower; Verizon FiOs; WiFi; small backyard with gas grill, outdoor furniture (April - Oct)

Summer - Weekly Rental only - Saturday (2 pm) to Saturday (10 am)

Short review: it was a wonderful stay at a terrific house. Plenty of space for seven people/three generations; comfortable, well equipped and clean; view of the ocean from the living room window; and super responsive host. 10 out of 10.More detail: the house is three levels, with the main floor in the middle - kitchen, sitting area, two bedrooms and a full bath. Upper level was great for my daughter’s family: two bedrooms, full bath and a large nice living area. With a baby and a six year old they were able to keep their bedtimes (and wake times!) separate from ours downstairs. And the lower level was a great additional space for the kids to play and adults to watch the big TV. Overall a lot of space that suited us very well.Our Texas contingent was excited with the ocean so close and enjoyed walking down and seeing the lighthouse in the distance.Our host was very helpful. Aside from providing a great space, she was very patient with my many questions, and was generous enough to return some things we left behind.If we’re ever back in Rhode Island we’d love to stay again!

Beautiful spot with ocean views and spectacular sunrises. Interesting set up with 3 floors offering privacy and plenty of room to all gather together. Loved the place!

It was the perfect location for my family and sister’s family to stay at. We had plenty of space for all of us. The walk to the beach was short and easy to get to and the view of the beach from the house was beautiful. We had a wonderful time there. I had no problem with communicating with Cheryl. My family recommend staying here and would definitely stay here again next time we come back to visit Rhode Island.

A beautiful home with a beautiful view

From the moment we walked in everything was perfect. We felt “at home” with beautifully decorated rooms, great space for just sitting around, and everything was meticulously clean. Not to mention, the view of the ocean was amazing. Communication with the owners was easy and thorough…everything was exactly as described. We look forward to visiting again!

House was Beautiful and very clean....Wish we could of stayed longer...nice to have our entire family together even if it was only for a weekend! Would recommend this house for a summer vacation for sure! THE HOST was great and I know why she would be very careful who rents her house. Thanks for renting your house to us!

We had a wonderful long weekend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your house. The house was spacious and had many areas for congregating. All the bedrooms were comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with anything you might need. Our favorite part was the proximity to the beach. A few minutes walk and you were there.

URI Family Weekend stay

We loved our stay here! The house was perfectly clean with plenty of room to spread out and relax. The beds were really comfortable; I usually have a hard time sleeping away from home but I slept great here. The location was wonderful and we appreciated the welcome treat from the owner. We would definitely love to come back and stay here again!

Location! Location!

This house fit all of our needs. It was large enough for all of us to gather together in the upstairs living room. The view from both living rooms was amazing and so soothing. Beds were comfy. Kitchen was well stocked with all of the cookware that I needed for a family breakfast. The little touches like cheese and crackers in the fridge and a basket in the bathroom with in case you forgot items was a pleasant surprise. Cheryl reached out to me to make sure our preferences were ready for our arrival. I fell in love with Rhode Island when my son started college there 4 years ago and my husband and I celebrated our empty nest with a trip to Misquamicut. I have been back several times. Scarborough Beach area is perfectly located with all of our favorite spots only 30 minutes away. The ferry is minutes away along with Point Judith lighthouse. My only complaint is that the week went by way too fast!

Great view, clean & goes the extra mile

The home was exactly as pictured and comfortable . I was quite surprised to see a basket labeled “in case you forgot” that included toothbrushes and deodorant among other things. There was enough toilet paper for the week and cleaning essentials (home and laundry) were also there. A lot of thought was put into what you’ll need when you arrive - most others we have to go out to grab these items when we get there. There are also some lovely spots for photos inside and outside the home. We will definitely stay here again.

Great stay, great host

Cheryl is a great host. The house was a great location. The area during Thanksgiving was a great time of year. Lots of restaurant choices, a movie theater not too far, a shopping center v close. House was a great for for us, we had our own spaces!

Great place to stay!

The spacious house provided for all of our needs. Though not the fault of the owners, the only challenge we faced was the lack of moving air on a week of extremely humid days. The fans helped minimally. Appliances worked well, outdoor shower was handy, and the outdoor area provided some privacy. It was easy walking to the beach and most vehicles were cognizant of stopping in the marked areas making it safer for young children to cross the road to the beach. We were pleased with the accommodations and would consider renting again in the future.

My husband and I bought this house in 1992. We loved visiting the area when we were dating and jumped at the chance to purchase this house after we married! Since then, we have raised 3 great children and created many happy memories spending time with extended family who are nearby.

Great restaurants in the area; several beaches; golf; Block Island ferry; Newport; Westerly, Providence; CT casinos! **Please Note** This property is not located in Eastward Look as VRBO indicates - it is closer to the beach.

Great for families - 3 levels - an option for everyone being together (lower level); an option for adults to gather (2nd level) while children gather in their own space (lower level); & space to stare at the ocean or read a book (1st level); lower level has 55" TV and a table that extends for board games or puzzles, etc. All levels have ocean views.
