2 Bedroom condo on lake Conroe in a lovely neighborhood Seven Coves. These are the only condos that the balcony is right over the water. Seven Coves offers play grounds, boat ramps, swimming pools, tennis courts, guide fishing, boat& jet ski rentals, dinner cruises on the southern empress, mirage event venue. lots of shoreline to go fishing. Property faces beautiful sunrise. Nice and shady during sundown. 25 min from The Woodland, 60 min from Houston.

David the host was nice and helpful. He responded immediately to my communications. The condo was nice and clean. We caught fish from the balcony which was so cool! The view of the lake was good! I am planning for my next trip to go back!!

Peaceful Stay on the Water

My husband and I were joined by our older son for a relaxing getaway on the water. It was clean, comfortable, and inviting. We spent our time visiting, cooking, fishing, and being generally lazy. David, the host was quick to respond to our inquiries, and he was wonderful to deal with. We’ll most likely return in the future.

Great Time Fishing.

A lot of stuff to do close by, great fishing off the balcony, filled two quart sized ziplocs with fish.

Wonderful place!

This place was perfect for our week stay to visit family. We had another Vrbo originally booked that was canceled while we were in flight to the property and these guys helped us get booked and made the stay available for us last minute. It was clean, the patio was the best and David was very responsive and made the stay enjoyable!

Second Stay Sensational

Our second stay was just at great as the first. I noted little touches that were added since our previous stay. Our eleven year old still talks about it, and is wanting to return. He said, "It feels like home there!" Lol.

Great place to stay!

The condo was very clean and comfortable. The property manager was very easy to communicate with. You can sit out on the balcony and watch the most beautiful sunrise and feed the ducks. I lost count at 40 ducks in front of the unit at one point. The fish were jumping in front of the unit but I didn’t bring a rod and reel or I would have fished from the balcony. My son caught some though. The food we had at the restaurant on the property was good as well. You won’t regret staying here.

Relaxing Weekend Getaway!

We had a great time staying at Seven Coves for the weekend! The view of the lake from the condo is awesome. We spent almost all of our time sitting on the deck - watching the sunrise, soaking up the sun, and fishing. (My husband caught a catfish right from the balcony.) We launched our kayak at the marina, and the kids had a great time playing on the Seven Coves playground. The condo was the perfect size for my husband, two kids, and I, and it had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. We would definitely return for another stay at Seven Coves. Thank you again to the owners for letting us stay!

Beautiful Views!

This is an older property but the particular condo we stayed was inviting and relaxing. The beds were comfortable so that was a plus. The views were beautiful and you can even fish from the balcony (it’s on the 2nd floor). We actually caught some catfish and bass from the balcony. There were a couple of things that could be improved such as the cleanliness of the condo, in particular the vents in the bathroom have black around them and there was things left behind the dresser by other people such as socks and wrappers and dirty cups in the cupboard. The outside porch light also didn’t work so it was hard to see at night. There’s also too much fishing line that had been left behind so our line kept catching the neighbor’s line but we worked around it. I just want to point out that’s not the owner’s fault but gave us a bit of a hassle. We still enjoyed our stay despite a number of little things and we would stay again.

Extended stay

Perfect set up for 2 retired couples. Beds and bedding were very comfortable. We stayed the entire month of February and found many ways to stay active within walking distance or a short drive. The neighborhood is pleasant. We enjoyed happy hours and beautiful sunsets at The Wave just a short walk from the condo. Fishing was enjoyable from the balcony or short walk to the shore or pier near the marina. Visiting Grandchildren also enjoyed swimming in the pool and playing at the park. Location was great being close to Interstate 45 where there are numerous places to shop and dine. We also enjoyed golfing and hiking. The kitchen was equipped with the basics. Suggest surveying the kitchen before planning a menu and grocery shopping. Some of the pans are old and lids do not fit. Can opener needs to be replaced. We purchased a few items we needed from a Good Will store and borrowed items from a relative who lives nearby. The only issue we had was water leaking from the refrigerator so needed to shut off the ice maker. The host quickly responded to concerns and questions.

HORRIBLE OWNER! Does NOT care about Life Safety and Liars!!

Condo had NO SMOKE ALARMS! When I brought this to the owners attention they blew me off and said "Thank you for your concern" and then proceeded to lie and say that it says on their listing there are no smoke alarms. I offered to put two alarms up as my husband and I are both Firefighters. Response was, "Thanks again for your concern and they are having them hardwire." Okay that is fine but it does not solve the current issue of no smoke alarms. I let them know the local FD can come install them or I can if they did not have a solution to the having them installed that day. The response I got was, "You can do whatever makes you feel safe." What a terrible person!! This owner does NOT CARE about your safety nor your families safety or those that live in the same property!! Such an easy solution could have been worked out. The sliding glass door lock was broken and when I let them know there response was, "there should be a wooden rod that you can place to keep the door shut." That's NOT safe either! The sliding glass door goes to a patio over the water. My youngest has Down Syndrome and can try and be an escape artist and a wooden rod is unacceptable as a locking device!! Again, demonstrates their lack of caring about people and children. The umbrella outside was also broken and they knew that as well. Response, "My husband said if he gets off early tomorrow he will try to get one for you." If you knew it was broken it should have been thrown away. And the umbrella is not for me it is for your rental unit. From the response it is obvious they do NOT CARE to make time for their tenants nor do they even attmept to. Umbrella was not replaced in the four days we were there. Also, The WiFi is Non Existant. When asked about it the response was "the condo association is updating the wifi service." Which is a lie! The unit on the side said their WiFi was fine and a unit that was a couple down said theirs was fine as well. Also the password is for the unit next door. It is very apparent that they are trying to use WiFi for two units. Another example of how the owner is trying to make a buck off of you and your family. Just Shameful!!! I contacted VRBO and representative let me know they planned on putting up smoke alarms next week and encouraged me to leave review as he seemed very frustrated with the owner as well. DO NOT RENT from these terrible people! Other units in same complex to rent.
