Casa Panorama Sei is a bright and cheerful apartment situated at a short distance from the shores of Lake Como. It sleeps five people. From Casa Panorama Sei you will enjoy a fascinating view of the lake and of the swimming pool. Casa Panorama Sei is 50 square meters (540 square feet). It features a shared swimming pool, a panoramic private terrace with a view of the lake, a shared garden, winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be approximately 500 meters (550 yards) from Mezzegra, where you will find restaurants, shops and public transportation. You will find the beach at roughly 1 km (0.6 miles).
Casa Panorama Sei is located on the second floor in the main building. You will reach it from the garden going up a stairway which consists of approximately 28 steps.
You will not need a car to stay at Casa Panorama Sei. If you do have one, you will be able to park it on the premises, free of charge in a parking space. The residence was built at the end of the eighteenth century by members of the noble family Brentano-Mezzegra.  The reason for building the mansion is singular, to say the least.  Legend has it that the sons of the Count Brentano-Mezzegra, upset with their father during a family feud, erected a new building just in front of the family palace, to block the view of the lake that the Count so much enjoyed.


We don't know how much is history and how much is tale, but something is for sure: the new residence enjoys a spectacular view of the lake, while the imposing building right at its back has been "obscured", so to speak.


Throughout the following centuries the building has been used as a monastery and then as a farmhouse.  It was an old country residence still in 2001, when it has been restored and divided into nine holiday apartments.


The residence is located in the quiet village of Mezzegra in an uphill position that offers a wide and charming view of the lake, of the town of Bellagio on the opposite shore, and of the surrounding mountains.  Mezzegra is a tiny lakeside village, which has a place in history because it's here that, on April 28th 1945, Benito Mussolini was executed, or assassinated, depending on who tells the story.
Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is 12.5 meters (40 feet) large by 5 meters (16 feet) long, 1.4 meters (4.6 feet) deep. The area is equipped with tables, chairs, sun umbrellas, sun loungers and an external shower. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a fascinating view of Lake Como. You will share the pool with the other guests staying at the complex. The swimming pool is open from the beginning of April until the end of October.

Laundry room
In the laundry room you will find a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board at your disposal (please note that use of the laundry facilities is not included in the rental fee and must be paid locally).  Living Room
The living room is paved with terracotta tiles. The furnishings are simple and comfortable, and include a divan that unfolds into a double bed. In the living room you will also find a cooking area. The kitchenette is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, a small refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker and other small appliances. The dining table can accommodate six guests. In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels). From the living room you will be able to enter the terrace and a balcony through two French doors.
Bedroom
You will be able to enter the bedroom from the living room. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed), that can be split into twins if requested (please contact our staff in advance to make arrangements). An additional single trundle bed is available (if requested in advance with an additional cost -- please enquire with our staff) to make it a triple room. The room has a window which overlooks the back of the house.
Bathroom
The bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a jacuzzi bathtub with shower wand. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the living room.
