Excellent experience in every way. Great comms, accurate listing, comfortable villa and everything we needed for two adults and two children (12 & 10). Lovely view of the lake and walking distance from the shore. Close enough for plenty of lake-side amenities but just far enough from the water to be quiet at all times. Just what we wanted and had an amazing time.

Great house in a great location

Property was very nice with an amazing terrace and balcony with a great view of the lake. Host was responsive to questions we had. Only downside is that we ran out of hot water on the second day.

Villetta Tara

July 2016 My family and I had a fantastic time at the villa! It was extremely clean, tidy, and equipped with everything we needed and beyond. The furniture is modern, clean and luxurious. Views of the lake were breathtaking and we particularly loved the terrace and pool area. Thank you Daniel for a wonderful vacation! Rawan, Saudia Arabia

Fantastic holiday

Thank you for a fantastic stay!! We really appreciated the travel instructions to get to the location. We hired two cars which fit perfectly into the garage. The bedrooms were spacious. There was two bathrooms which was fantastic as there was six of us. The door leading out to the patio was originally broken however we messaged George. I believe who then got Diego to fix it for us. We really appreciated the little things like the washing machine tablet dishwasher tablets. The only thing we noticed was there seem to be a lot of ants but given the location we don’t think this could’ve been helped so we didn’t mind.

We’re glad the patio door was quickly fixed and that the little touches like dishwasher and washing machine tablets added to your comfort. Fantastic villa, great views and could watch the Lake for hours! Everything we needed was provided, beds comfortable, air con great. The garage underneath was massive and big enough for our VW camper van to fit into. Room for 2!Only downside was the electricity cut out, a known problem with Italian supply apparently. It was very easily fixed but we couldn’t find the supply in. The agents provided a video but it would have been useful to have in advance!! (Supply is by the gate at roadside). Not an issue once you know where to find it we would love to come back to this villa and Lake Como

This villa is excellent; it is on a purpose built complex of four holiday homes, with excellent parking facilities. The arrival instructions were very clear. The house itself was immaculate on arrival, and had all the amenities we needed for a very comfortable stay. It is within 20 minutes' walk of the lake front, ferry terminal, restaurants, gelateria and so on - as long as you don't mind the walk back up the cobbled path on the way home! Como itself was about 45 minutes' drive away, along a lakeside road. There are local buses, but we'd recommend a hire car and the ferry to make the most of the area. The pool was a good size, but unheated and not fenced (not an issue for us, with older children). George and Diego were excellent points of contact, and very helpful with any queries we had. A five star experience!

Villetta Tara

June 2018 Our stay at the new Villetta Tara was very nice. The house is very cosy and absolutely comfortable for 6 people. The infrastructure is in a very good shape and the house was absolutely clean. Furthermore, everything was properly arranged. The area around the house is beautiful and the pool has a perfect size. I really would recommend to stay at the Villetta and we may come back at another time. Thank you very much for everything. Jacqueline, UK
