Parking is free in the nearby garage. Follow the instructions of the host. Area is great and Sophie (the host) is fantastic. Would love to come again

Great place in perfect location

Eclectic stay in old town Montpellier

Restaurants everywhere you turned in a really old city. Every turn brought a new experience. Combined with great shopping at Galeries Lafayette, Monoprix, and Uniqlo, plus wonderful boutiques. Don’t miss the Musee Fabre and the organ at St Pierre cathedral. We were fortunate to come in during rehearsal - breathtaking.

Don't let the name of the street put you off. The building and apartment are both charming.The spaces are nicely laid out, with a proper foyer separating living and sleeping spaces. The bathroom and kitchen are small but are renovated and clean.Windows in the living space overlook the street while the bedroom window opens into the interior courtyard, ensuring that is quiet. The furnishings and decoration are simple and comfortable. The a/c is new and works well.The location is close to many important sites in the city center.Mme Brunel was easy to reach and helpful.

Fantastic apartment in a beautiful old building

Fantastic apartment right in the centre of Montpellier with great access to restaurants & bars. The apartment is in a beautiful old building which really added to the experience. Sophie was lovely to deal with & also her son Alexander who gave us good recommendations for eating out.Turn left out of the apartment & try the bar on the corner they do a great gin & tonic !!. There is no air con but fans are provided it can get very hot in july. Overall a fantastic place to stay

Charming apartment, very accomodating owner

This charming apartment with historic details was perfect for my stay in Montpellier while visiting my study-abroad daughter. The owner was very accomodating, assisting us in acquring the keys early, since I would be arriving in Montpellier quite late from Paris. The location is perfect and very convenient to trams and the train. Visiting the nearby esplanade and Place de Peyrou is a recommended entertainment within walking distance. The bed was very comfortable and the grocery nearby made it easy to eat well without visiting restaurants so often. I would stay here again if I had another opportunity to stay in Montpellier.

Excellent location, clean, only 2 flights of stairs to climb

We will rent this apartment again the next time we visit. The location is great, and the apartment was more than adequate given the little time we spent there. The place is clean, the bathroom seems recently remodeled and the sitting area was fine and the bed was comfortable. The owner was very helpful.although we never had a chance to meet her - just her son who was also very nice and let us into the apartment and answered our questions. Via text messsged, Sophie, the owner provided us great recommendations for restaurants as well as answers to our other questions.

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt

Unser Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Alles hat bestens geklappt. Die Lage der Wohnung ist super für Aktivitäten in Montpellier. In den warmen Sommertagen war die neu installierte Klimaanlage sehr nützlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Tolle Lage mitten in der Altstadt, schön renovierter Altbau, ruhiges Schlafzimmer mit Fenster zum Innenhof, Cafés und Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe, Tiefgarage 5 Fußminuten entfernt, problemlose Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter - wer Lust auf das Leben im verkehrsberuhigten Zentrum einer der schönsten Städte Frankreichs hat, kann von hier aus alles entdecken, was die Innenstadt zu bieten hat.

Switched Out

We can't summarize our stay, because while we were in yhe midst of traveliing to Montpellier we were informed that e were being moved to anther apartment due to water damage in our original booking. Though the new flat was okay (we were the first to stay there), it had no microwave, parking spot (fortunately we didn't need one), one television station, and there was a strong scent from off-gassing. Hard to compare without actually seeing our original flat, but no what we booked or paid for. In the end we enjoyed our time in the city, but were not totally happy with our rental.,

Très bon séjour

Lieu propre et cosy. Nous avons pu profiter du centre ville de Montpellier. Très bon accueil et nous avons pu avoir un petit topo sur ce qu'il y avait à faire et à voir dans la ville. Petite proposition qui serait je pense fortement appréciée des personnes de petite taille comme moi : mettre un petit tabouret à disposition :) Le parking inclus à même pas 5min à pied est un très gros plus ! Nous recommandons ! Morgane et Yohan.

Hit the spot!

We had a lovely stay in Montpellier. Very accurate description, a fantastic neighbourhood, comfortable apartment with everything you need. Sophie was very responsive. It was exceptionally hot while we were there (40 degree temps) but the apartment did not get too overheated. A/C would've been nice but the fans worked just fine. Montpellier is a beautiful city with so many things to see, fantastic restaurants, friendly people and incredible architecture. It was a treat to stay right in the middle of it all. We look forward to coming back (but maybe not in summer!). A la prochaine!

Schöne Wohnung im Herzen der Altstadt

Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet, sehr sauber und hübsch eingerichtet. Die kleine Küche verfügt über alles, was man benötigt. Da das Schlafzimmer zu einem Lichthof liegt, ist es ruhig, obwohl Restaurants und Kneipen in unmittelbarer Nähe liegen. Die zentrale Lage war sehr praktisch. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wonderful apartment in historic centre.

Minutes from the Comedie; the train, trams, & shops, this apartment was very comfortable & had everything you need for a self-contained stay. We walked to all major attractions. We loved to tour all day, have a nice lunch out & then shop at the markets for a light dinner. We walked to all major attractions. Sophie was a very helpful & obliging host. Would highly recommend.

Charming Apartment in the heart of the Old City

The apartment is located in the center of the old city on a quaint street next to the Prefecture. Built in the 19th century, the apartment has high ceilings and lots of light. Sophie was a very amiable host and went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable. She was incredibly responsive when I had a problem connecting the TV and her son picked me up and helped me with my baggage as the stairs to the apartment are winding. She really went above and beyond. The apartment was very clean, and has old world touches (stone floors and beautiful molding) with all the modern conveniences: a clothes washer, dishwasher and microwave and is equipped with plenty of dishes, kitchen utensils etc. There is also ample storage. I couldn't have chosen a better place to spend three weeks.The location is close to restaurants, bars, shopping and historical sights. It's also in a very safe neighborhood. I would highly recommend staying at Sophie's apartment. Would love to come back and stay there again!
