The Gulf-front Admirals Quarters sits half a mile east of the center of Orange Beach, where you'll find a Publix Super Market and an assortment of restaurants, eateries, and conveniences. Take tranquil morning walks through Gulf State Park just over a mile west, book fishing charters and boating excursions out of the Orange Beach Marina two miles northeast, and catch a glimpse of nesting sea turtles at Perdido Key State Park seven miles east. You'll also be an easy drive from Adventure Island, The Wharf, and local favorites like The Flora-Bama, Big Beach Brewing, Pleasure Island Tiki Bar, and Fisher's Dockside.

Exceeded Expectations

The condo was everything that we hoped for and so much more!! We took our elderly mother and her siblings for a family trip and it turned out to be one that we will never forget. The condo was spotless and newly renovated-which was amazing. The location is perfect and close to everything. The host was super nice and responsive. Would definitely stay again!

Fantastic property, lovely and spacious, clean and in a fabulous location, one slight concern would be it being advertised as sleeping 10. We were very much aware that the property had 4 bedrooms however with only 2 sofas and 2 reclining chairs in the living area ( neither a sofa bed ) it left 2 Adults having very uncomfortable nights sleep and not wholey rested.

Great vacation spot

The condo was amazing! Excellent views, great balcony, fantastic condo and staff. Enjoyed every morning going to the beach and seeing the security guard get lots of laughs from us. The staff was awesome & friendly. The building was always clean and smelled good. We had a little issue checking in but Jessica was on top of it and kept the line of communication open. The condo had recently been remodeled and there were a few minor issues, but again Jessica was on top of it all. The unit was big enough for all 8 of us that no one was on top of each other. We were very pleased and truly enjoyed our stay at this unit. Would highly recommend for large families/groups. Hope to return again! Huge Thank You to All!

Really great stay at this condo. The balcony is awesome and I believe I spent 90% of my time there. The condo can use updates throughout, however there wasn't anything that prevented me, my family and friends from enjoying our stay. Will definitely be back.

July 2024 trip

Great property with amazing views! Exactly as advertised and clean. Very spacious common area. Minor cosmetic things but owner is actively addressing and nothing to worry allow us to affect the trip. Well stocked with kitchen utensils and plates. We were very happy with this place and would recommend renting it. Location is great for access to restaurants and grocery stores and most importantly the beach!

Wonderful

This was a very large condo. Interior was very dark but after putting a few large vases, some candles, and a bunch of silk arrangements into closets (we put them back before we left) it seemed a little more airy. Didn't have to worry about people knocking over things. Beds were comfortable, kitchen huge, bathrooms for everyone plus, great view of the gulf. Awsome experience.

June 2022 family beach trip

My family stayed at the admidral quarters. The condo was very big and clean. It was a 4 bedroom/5 bathrooms condo. The only issue we had was that the water would not drain out of one of the bathtubs. That couple had to bathe in a different room. Overall, everything else was as expected. We will stay there again on our next vacation!

Great for larger parties

The condo has recently updated decor and furniture different from the picture posted currently. Much more modern and more seating. Beds are amazing and everything was super clean. Easy beach access and large pool. Washer and dryer were tricky. Parking is tight, and it wasnt disclosed you only get 2 parking spots per condo. Security was very helpful and made space for out extra vehicle. Overall we definitely recommend staying here for your bigger group! We had a great week!

Updates

As described, the property is a little stuck in the 90s, but we found it comfortable enough. While we were there the unit received a new washer and dryer and new mattresses. During our 2 month stay the beach was revitalized, which was a pretty cool process to watch, and work was done on the balcony with more work to be done next winter we heard.

Location is great!

Everyone had a great time & the view is beautiful! However, I had some complaints about the mold in the bathrooms & 2 of the bedrooms didn’t have comfortable beds. If this condo were updated it would be great. In one bedroom the comforter was old & the shams did not match!! Another bedroom had the bed head against the window & the pillows were against the window since there was no headboard. Loved the living room area!

Great Place just needs a little updating

The layout of condo was fabulous! The kids had so much room to play in the living/kitchen room. The location was fantastic! The condo is in need of being updated, it is definitely showing some age. The mattresses would be the first thing I would update. Checkin was hectic, we didn't get into the condo until 5 (check in was at 4). Overall 8/10.

Nice condo/just a few issues

The unit was really nice except the mattresses in all the rooms were horrible. We did have a problem with the internet for the first few days. They did have someone come out and fix it. We really liked the complex overall but it really needs new mattresses.

June trip 2024

The condo is HUGE! Plenty of room for our group of 9. Perfect ocean view from the balcony which is where we spent most of our time. Got to see the Blue Angels fly by, they were so close I hope they saw me wave! Also saw Dolphins from the balcony. Also were fortunate to see a double rainbow after a brief rain. We were sent on a wild goose chase from management company before checking in. They changed locations but neglected to inform me. Said to pick up a "welcome packet" which consisted of a brochure that explained the beach flag colors. Tips for future renters: Bring salt and pepper, extra dish towels (2 provided), aluminum foil and baggies, pair of scissors, and a frying pan if possible. (the ones provided were past their prime. Laundry and dishwasher pods and a few trash bags and a roll of paper towel was provided as well as a roll of toilet paper for all 4.5 bathrooms. I will definitely stay here again.

Disappointing

The layout of the condo is fab and everything worked. But the beds are uncomfortable; the main balcony door is so difficult to open that all 9 of us had to use the door from the master bedroom (we called the property manager and someone came out, but had to wait for approval to repair); the screen on one of the balcony doors is torn, the master bathroom vent is broken. The condo is definitely showing its age. Plus, it was right at 6:00 before we could get into the condo, even though our paperwork stated 4:00. I would stay at the complex again, but not this condo and not through the same management company.

Great space….but needs some work and updates

The website list this property to sleep 10. It has four rooms that sleep two each….the other two have a sectional couch that does NOT pull out. It is not ideal for adults. It had five bathrooms which is great but we had some trouble with one toilet…took two days to get someone to look at it. I was told it was not a rush because there was “other “ toilets we could use. One bathroom had a very moldy shower curtain. That also took two days to get that replaced as well as two phone calls. The management company was not helpful at all. The living room sliding glass door to the balcony is almost impossible to get open. Grown men had to use two hands and all their strength to get it opened and then closed. We had maintenance out for that as well and it was not fixed. All the smaller room beds were uncomfortable. The kitchen utensils, pots and pans etc were dirty. We had to wash everything before we used it. We also had to move the couch to accommodate for a blow up mattress and there was food under it. The place in general just was not very clean. Speaking with the management company was almost pointless. There was NO urgency to correct anything we called about. With all that being said the unit is spacious and had lots of gathering room. It could use some updates but me personally…I just needed it to be cleaner.

Loved it with a few exceptions

This was hands-down the most well equipped and spacious condos my family has stayed in ever! And we’ve been coming to the gulf coast for 15 years staying up and down the beach. As close to perfect as one could find. Extremely well decorated with everything that you could need. The kitchen was phenomenal. The unit was well laid out well furnished and plenty of space for the entire family to stretch out. Top shelf all the way. On the downside… 1) The main thing we noticed was the noise coming from the elevator. Condo is located directly across from the elevator doors and they could be heard running from all the bedrooms. In the master bedroom we had to turn on the bathroom fan to drowned out the sound because it became very annoying. The bedrooms for the front were much Louder. 2) The air-conditioning also didn’t seem to be working in the master bedroom. It required us to keep the door open at night to stay cool. 3) given the size of the entire unit, the master bath especially, we were disappointed with the master shower. It was small and there was no soap dish or place to put shampoo etc. You had to put the soap and anything else on the floor. 4) We have May have missed it in the original listing but we didn’t know there was a covered parking spot Designated for this unit. We found out from the security halfway Through our stay through our stay. 5) The code to unlock the front door only worked once Upon arrival. We were subsequently locked out of the unit for a few hours until we were finally able to get some response back from the property manager with an updated code. At the end of the day this wasn’t a huge deal but it was an inconvenience for several hours. As a whole it’s a great unit With everything A family could need. If they can figure out the noise issue with the elevators I would give it five stars
