The main bedroom AC vent did not have air coming out and was hot the entire stay after many requests to fix, The laundry closet door was off the track and made it very difficult to open and close the dryer door. Property management was very irresponsive until the third day and even then did not rectify the issues. Very disappointed in this stay and will not rent through Vacasa again, did request a call from their management and still haven’t received one. A C vents were extremely dirty and unit definitely is run down. There was a shoal can on the TV stand when we arrived left from previous guest and property manager said she was off for a few days and didn’t inspect before our check in.

I’m showing some grace and gave it two stars. The main issue we had were the beds. We ended up with a trip to the urgent care with our youngest child after the exposed metal bed frame made a deep laceration to our child’s leg and had to have stitches. I’ve stayed at Island Winds going back many many years and this was a first.We obviously moved our child to the sofa bed after the incident and the sofa bed was almost nonfunctional. Where the head and upper body rest is was so caved in. This collapse made it extremely uncomfortable and difficult to sleep on. Furthermore, the other full bed in the guest room was severely sunken in too and made for an uncomfortable nights sleep for our other child. The a/c unit didn’t seem to blow any cool air in the master bedroom. There was moldy residue on the ceiling above the shower and in the a/c vents. I would strongly recommend a deep cleaning of the air unit.

This is the perfect property for a vacation getaway. The view is incredible and the condo is a great size. We were family of 4 and it fit us all comfortably. The air conditioner working amazing and the location was great. Very close to many restaurants and shops and right on the beach. The beds in the guest room were comfortable but mattresses are a little lumpy. But we didn’t have trouble sleeping! Overall, definitely recommend this place! We hope to be back!

Short Summer Vacation

We were there for 4 nights. The location was great. It was close to the beach, restaurants and other places. You could walk down the main street to enjoy the night. We walked out to have dinner.

Love this place!

"My husband and I booked a last-minute getaway, and we couldn't have been more pleased! While we've stayed at this resort before, this was by far the best room we've had. We had an incredible time, and the included beach chairs were such a nice perk. The host was fantastic and made everything seamless. We will absolutely be back!"

Great waterfront condo

We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony overlooking the Gulf. The location was perfect with great direct beach access and within walking distance of lots of great dining choices. We had a great time!

Good condo, cleaning needs improvement

We really enjoyed our time here! The condo was in a great location, and we couldn’t ask for a better spot on the beach. The view from the balcony is great, but be careful with little kids. My kids could fit through the bars of the balcony, which was very dangerous. We saw that the balcony next to ours had a fence to put up in front of the bars, which would’ve been very helpful. Upon arrival I sat my baby in the floor and within minutes her knees, feet, and hands were black with filth from the floor. I messaged Vacasa after receiving a text about my check in experience and all I got in response was “I do apologize”. We ended up buying a mop and cleaning the floors ourselves because they were so dirty. It definitely seemed like the cleaning of this condo was not done properly. Stuff had just been swept under the couch, beds, and other furniture. The vents were coated in dust, and the shower in the guest room had dark stuff on the ceiling around the shower head and back corner of the shower. The furniture definitely has a lot of wear and tear on them. The couch is stained and the recliner doesn’t recline a lot of the time. The door is very difficult to open. The outlets were difficult to use in the guest room. The light switch had to be on in order to use them, which was very weird. The rest of the condo was great. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed, and the washer/dryer was great to have. Overall, we had a great time and would likely stay here again if it w

Nice Condo

This condo with 2 bedroom was on a corner with a larger balcony and full view of the ocean. The kitchen was well-equipped with pots, pans, utensils and both a coffee maker and Keurig. Furniture is showing wear and beds are moderately comfortable. All drains worked well and the air conditioning was great. The washer/dryer combo worked but the washer might need a checkup - very loud when spinning. No plug in the master bath sink or in the kitchen sink, so we MacGuyver’d our own. Security was always visible but could have cracked down on after hours noise in the hallways a bit more. All in all, a good value for our week in Gulf Shores.

Absolutely Perfect

This vacation was everything my family and I needed ! The condo was absolutely perfect . Not only was it clean , cute , and convenient, the location was phenomenal. We really loved our stay and are 100% positive we will return next fall .

Enjoy Gulf Shores but…

Always enjoy coming to gulf shores but this condo needs a refresh. Arrived and one bed wasn’t made and no sheets on premises. All mattresses need replaced. Had to figure out how to make recliner work because using the button didn’t work.
