“We’ve found a Perfect Retreat for One or two "Snowbird Couples" and their friends or families, to escape winter.
You will enjoy resort living on a lush greenbelt with gorgeous mountain, garden and pool views in a freshly renovated, open concept, rental home in the heavenly, natural oasis of the Desert Willows Community in Desert Hot Springs, California.
You’ll be in a prime location to explore the Coachella Valley, close to Palm Springs, Pioneertown, and 30 minutes from Joshua Tree National Park. Be as urban or rustic, active or relaxed as you like.
Within a gated 55+ community complete with clubhouse, gym, pool, tennis courts and activities. This 1400 foot home includes two large bedrooms located at separate ends of the house for added privacy, an open living room, kitchen, laundry room, sun room/extra guest room and large furnished patio. A few steps from the furnished patio you’ll see the jacuzzi and pool with tennis courts and a duck pond nearby. The community clubhouse offers pool and ping pong tables, gym and sauna as well as the option of social activities. This is a safe, very quiet adult community in DHS so the HOA requires that the primary renters are 55+ and stay a minimum of 3 months. You can always have family and friends visit for up to 30 days.
Internet with a Roku Wi Fi TV that can be moved into any room and includes Roku news and many cable channels, Netflix, Amazon and Hulu are included. The rent is as shown for 3 months. The longer the rental the more negotiable the rent can be.
As this is a 3-6 month rental, all other utilities bills will fluctuate and must be payed monthly by mail. Cable packages are available for the additional monthly fees as well.
Most furnishings and appliances are quite new with a fully equipped kitchen, gourmet and designer touches such as china and glassware for entertaining. There are cosy designer robes and, down comforters, bamboo linens, organic soaps and cleaning products for your total comfort and luxury. This home is a tremendous value for 1/2 the cost of a similar resort in the other desert cities.

I recently bought this wonderful, newly renovated property as a vacation/rental property for now. I work in LA in catering, teaching and coaching but an looking forward to retiring to Desert Hot Springs in 3-5 years. Until then I am looking for winter renters from Nov-until some time in May or even June, as I continue to work and travel. It is the most beautiful, serene, place I saw with every amenity I or anyone could desire!

It is safe, very lush and green, very quiet and private, yet social if you want it to be. People are very friendly and look out for each other.
It has incredible views and everything you need for resort living, but is much less expensive than any of the other desert cities. So I want to pass on that savings to you. You are only 15 minutes from all the restaurants, upscale shops and culture of Palm Springs and all the other sophisticated desert cities. There is a lot of nature but the area very urban as well. There is much to explore or you can simply relax in total comfort with every amenity: your choice, every day!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?
The entire town of DHS is build on a series of aquifers so all basically all the water there is healing mineral water. You will see mineral deposits in the sinks. There are a number of wonderful hotels such as Two Bunch Palms, Miracle Springs, Desert Hot Springs Hotel or Sam's Family Spa that you can visit for the day. My property has mineral water but they do not pump it in directly from the ground, into the pools currently. I hope they will return to that practice soon. The town was once considered dicey but I have been going there for 20 years and always loved it. Now it is considered up and coming with a few good grocery stores, restaurants. plans for a new mall and new businesses opening-- especially in the booming marijuana industry. Yet it is never crowded and still feels like a small town. My property is a nice part of town near the high school and the Mission Lakes Golf and Country Club. It is very conveniently located just 5 minutes from open desert one direction and 5 minutes from downtown, the other. It is a fantastic place to decompress!
