​Surrounded by OCEAN, INLET & CREEK, this beautiful vacation home is personally owned managed with professionalism & integrity. My top priority is providing a 5-STAR experience with every stay, so you can count on excellent communication and thorough anticipation ​of all your needs any time of year. While this home is best suited for weekly family vacations, I do consider reservation requests from mature and respectful groups willing to uphold our House Rules & family-friendly values.

Right on the water with its very own dock, this "Sweet Escape" is perfectly positioned right between the Murrells Inlet Canal in back and Atlantic Ocean (just 120 meters away) in front! The ocean views from the front porch, and inlet in back, are sure to take your breath away. You won’t have to worry about overcrowded beaches or obstructed views here because there isn’t a high rise in sight! Garden City Beach is just a few miles from the Myrtle Beach Airport, and a short drive from all Myrtle Beach has to offer!

This private single family home is divided into two levels, connected by exterior staircases in front & back, accommodating 12 people on each floor. The first floor level houses the main living space with a beautiful fully equipped kitchen, living area, 4 beautifully decorated bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms.

The ground floor level features a private flex room that can be used for media den, or an 8th bedroom with a convertible futon and rollaway bed! On this level you will also find a kitchenette and game room sure to entertain the whole family!

But the BIGGEST reason you are sure to LOVE this Sweet Escape is the backyard. BREATH TAKING is an UNDERSTATEMENT! Your whole family will enjoy spending time on the spacious back porch, by the oversized SALT WATER POOL, fishing off the dock, grilling on the barbecue, sitting by the fire pit, or even playing basketball on our very own court!! I always look forward to hearing about the great memories created here.

BEACH ACCESS: 3rd row beachfront, 100m from beach separated by 2 rows of home/streets

LINEN PACKAGE: is included in "host fees" providing bed sheets, bath towels, washcloths, hand towels, small bars of soap, one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, and a trash bag in each trashcan. Guests should be prepared to provide any additional such products, as well as detergents, cleaners, spices, etc.. for themselves as needed beyond what is supplied.

It is always my intention to provide a 5-STAR experience, so you can count on excellent communication and thorough anticipation of all your needs. I live right down the street, so am readily available for anything you may need during your stay!

Perfect Getaway!

There’s nothing to not love about this house! The canal provided lots of fun for our crew..fishing and kayaking. It took us about 2 minutes to walk to the beach so we were able to go back and forth easily. We used the fire pit every night. The house was comfortably furnished and nicely decorated. Angie was very responsive if we needed anything. All 4 families that stayed there agree that it was a perfect house for us and we’d stay again for sure!

Great homebase for golf in Pawleys/Murrells Inlet area

We used the property in late September for our annual golf trip and had a great time. The owner repeatedly checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay.

We had 8 of in the house. It worked out perfect. Plenty of room. Super clean. Host is very friendly and responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

Great house and location

This house and location was perfect. The owner was also amazing during the entire stay as tropical storm Debby was approaching. Would definitely return.

Family vacation

We had a great week! Loved the backyard space- our teens and kids were constantly in the pool, playing basketball or kayaking. We even caught a couple of crabs off the dock. The beach access was so easy to get to! We would definitely come back to this house.

Family Beach Trip

House was great! Well appointed and very clean. Owner was a dream to work with. Did not realize that you had to go outside when moving from the upper to the lower floor. No fun in the rain. The fishing wasn’t as good as we were hoping.

This house was perfect! We have plenty of room for all the grandkids and parents to have their own room. Wonderful pool and only a short walk to the beach. Loved it!! Will probably book it again

Making lifetime memories!

Our family had a wonderful week! There were 21 of us - from a 1 year old to 73 years old. The house was the perfect layout for our group. So nice to have such a quick walk to the beach! Caught a few crabs off the pier and shared lots of laughs in the pool!

Family Vacation 2024

Our family had a wonderful week. We loved the house. It was so warm and welcoming. The kitchen was very well equipped. The furniture was very nice and comfy. Spacious bedrooms and nice baths. The porch overlooking the inlet and pool was always a gathering spot for morning coffee, afternoon naps and wine time. It always seemed to have a cool breeze. Very nice front porch with rocking chairs. Enjoyed them at night. Wonderful pool area that everyone enjoyed. An easy and short walk to the beach. Everything was perfect. We had ages from 12 to 91. Fun was had by all. Thank You 😃

Good for big groups.

Great neighborhood. A nice way to keep the adults and teens separated, but also good for groups. If you need an easy connection note you have to go outside to get to the other level. Spacious, has most everything you need, but know you’ll need to bring extra paper products.

Great House for a Guys Weekend

Overall the property was fantastic, and was just as it looks in the pictures. One thing to note that may be noted in the description of the property and I just missed it but there are no internal stairs to the lower level of the house which was not a big deal to us but was surprising. The pool was great and we spent a lot of time playing basketball and cornhole. The outdoor bar was a cool added touch, and we enjoyed fishing off the dock. My only complaint would be lack of the simple necessities, normally I feel like most restrooms are given a few rolls of toilet paper and the kitchen is stocked with a few rolls of paper towels. I don't expect to be supplied the entire stay, especially for longer trips (ours was 4 nights), but more than one roll of toilet paper per bathroom would have been better. Don't skimp on the small stuff is all I'm saying. But 5 stars because that isn't worth taking a star. Angela was a great host, was extremely responsive to any questions I had, and made the entire process very simple. We would definitely come back.

Family beach trip

Angie was a gracious host and was very attentive to our needs. She even provided a highchair for my youngest grandchild. The pool was fantastic, and I don't think the teens left if for more than a few minutes each day. Thank you Angie for a great family vacation.

Annual Family Beach Vacation

The house was very comfortable. All 20 of us had a bed. We particularly enjoyed the back porch overlooking the canal and the fantastic back yard which included a fire pit, basketball goal and roomy pool. Our adults enjoyed taking the kayaks out in the canal from the private dock which led to the intercoastal waterway. The kitchen had all the appliances you could ask for. One more bathroom would have been nice, but the outdoor showers served us well - especially the little ones. Although the walk to the beach is fairly short, I would suggest renting a golf cart if you have elderly folks in your party - especially during the heat.

Family getaway

Anchored Down was a great place for our family getaway. All the kids loved the pool and the short walk to the beach made for enjoyable time in the sand! Angie was easy to reach and was very responsive to any questions and concerns we had. Would definitely return if the opportunity arose!

Wonderful house

This property was as advertised and even more. Nicely furnished and very clean. Close to the beach but not on the beach. Swimming pool was awesome. We did have it heated. The fire pit we greatly enjoyed. Our party ranged from 6-62. All enjoyed the facilities.

Army Grunt Reunion

If you haven’t booked this particular house and location, you don’t know what you’re missing. The house was very spacious and clean. A treasure of a location to do absolutely one thing….forget work and live! Where else can you go to the backyard, take 20 steps forward, drop a crab trap and catch blue crabs for dinner? I could go on but book a stay and find out for yourself. 10 star rating for me.

Great House Great Stay

Just returned from a golf trip of 12, and house was great. Plenty of room and activities. Tons of outdoor seating to enjoy the channel, pool, and beautiful weather. A bit away from everything as it’s at end of Inlet, but quiet and no traffic.

Beautiful home

We loved the home! Location was perfect! Angela is extremely responsive and personable. We loved it. Most of the beds in the basement were a bit uncomfortable but all in all, it was great!!

Great place for large family

We stayed here with my whole family during the week between Christmas and New Years and it was a great place to stay….clean, nice layout, nice location, lots of room. Very nice experience.
