Perfect country retreat

We stayed here a couple of years ago, and the spacious cabin, well equipped kitchen, big porches, and well designed fire pit brought us back. Just half an hour from Broken Arrow.

Best cabin

The perfect place, perfects host's, and perfect area. This place is remote and beautiful. The cabin is very nice and clean. I am so impressed with this place i will stay again.

Lovely home

This home is perfect for our family to stay in while visiting the area for a Family Reunion! The home was clean and cozy. The check in process and communication with our host was excellent! Can’t recommend this place enough!

This cabin was wonderful! Beautiful piece of land and a gorgeous house- very tastefully decorated. The owners really know what they’re doing with this one- everything labeled, yard games, board games, smart tvs, cozy enough to be intimate but big enough for people to take space when they need it. Perfect location for us coming in to visit family. We used the full kitchen every day and had everything we needed to cook for 15 people. Slept well in comfortable and clean beds. We come down to visit family every other summer and we can’t wait to stay here again! So rejuvenating and relaxing. GREAT STAY!!

Another great stay!

We stayed exactly a year ago and knew we wanted to come back. We had another great stay at this cabin and enjoyed our getaway before the holidays. Coming this time of year is a great reset for our family from work and school. I have highly recommended this place to many people. We'll be back again!

A great stay in the woods

We had another great stay at the property. The home is always clean and tidy. We enjoyed the deer walking around the home each morning. The host is great to work with both before and during the visit. We will be back.

Beautiful property!

We had such a wonderful stay on this property! It was so beautiful. The cabin was very clean and the host was very kind and answered any questions i had promtly. Woke up to deer in the yard and the kids found some cool keepsakes in the woods while hiking. Lovely stay. Hope to return!

Solitude at its best!!!

Love the solitude of the cabin in the woods. You are truly alone, no neighbors. Perfect get away. The cabin was decorated with charming little snowman. Close to many places to hike, love our stay.

Peaceful Beauty

We absolutely loved this property. It had everything you could possibly need and the managers were very attentive. We walked on the trail everyday and loved how private the place was. So peaceful. Also, very conveniently located if you want to pop into town or go to the lake. We will definitely be back!

Gorgeous place to get away from it all

We spent Thanksgiving at the cabin with our airmen. The property was exactly what we hoped for. We enjoyed sitting outside by the fire pit and roasting marshmallows. The cabin was clean and very homey. The beds were comfortable and everything was extremely clean. We truly enjoyed our stay and will book here in the future if possible.

Our 3rd year in a row

We decided to visit this amazing property for the 3rd year in a row. We really enjoy staying here right after the school semester ends and winter break begins. It's an amazing place to relax and reset before the holidays. We love walking around the property, warming up by the fire, and playing board games every night. We love how secluded the cabin is and so cozy.

Perfect place to get away

We had a great time at the log cabin. The home is beautifully decorated and exactly as described. It was very relaxing whether you are sitting in the living room or on the front porch swing enjoying nature. There was a driveway and path that was nicely shaded in the mornings for a walk. We will be back again!

Another great cosit

This is the second time staying at this property. It would have been the third but it was already booked when we tried to get it last time. The cabin is wonderful and the host is extremely friendly and responsive. We cooked in two nights and found everything you would need to prepare a great meal. We will definitely return.

Most Gracious Host and Absolutely Lovely Cabin!

This was our 2nd time to have our Thanksgiving get away at Nita's Peaceful Cabin in the Woods. It was perfect! Such a welcoming feel the minute you walk in. We cooked a big meal and everything we could possibly need was there. The 2 ovens were great. The fire pit for Smores, the morning coffee on the porch, the walk in the woods, the deer coming in the evening. Our city pups want to know if they could come live there. :) Just had a Marvelous time! Thanks Nita! It was just what the Dr. ordered!!

Perfect!

Our family lost our beloved Granny & Mother and we needed a place to stay in Oklahoma that accommodated 6 adults and a 2 year old while we went through the funeral process. Nita was so gracious and helpful! She helped us make changes when the check in and out dates changed and always answered texts and calls promptly. The cabin was beautiful and excellently maintained. It’s was the PERFECT place for us to gather, grieve and enjoy the life of our precious loved one! Should we return to Hulbert there is only one place to book and it is this cabin! 😊

A majestic cabin and property

Cabin in the Woods was home to the best vacation my family and I have ever had. We are Okies so this was more of a stay-cation (our go-to is Florida or Colorado) but it was amazing. Bald Eagle sightings, deer greeting us in the mornings, fishing within 100 yards and the hosts are very generous and so gracious. We packed more than we needed for four nights but if we had forgotten anything, it would have been here. Cabin is rustic, beautiful, close to everything but also somehow remote. It is also absolutely spotless. We hope the cabin is available again soon. My kids want to move in! We just might skip Destin or Tampa for this place if we get the chance.

Incredibly peaceful cabin!

This cabin is amazing and I have already bragged about our wonderful stay to all of our family. The cabin was incredibly cozy and we loved that it was decorated for Christmas. There were nice touches in every single room. We were blessed with amazing weather to spend our days outside exploring and being in nature. We feel the highlights are: how secluded the property is, how cozy and comfortable the cabin is, how every amenity and need we had was considered already. An added perk is that it is such a short drive to Sequoya State Park where we also spent some time. Our children loved the nature center there. Our children really enjoyed themselves and loved the snacks the owner left for us. I loved how welcome we felt just walking in. We also took our dog who I think enjoyed the trip more than anyone else just watching all of the wildlife among the trees. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us! We will be back!!

A little piece of heaven!

Came in to the warmest welcome! Beautiful 2 story log cabin decorated so cozy and perfect for our Thanksgiving holiday in the woods~ Very secluded and tranquil. Needed to recharge and this was the perfect place to do that. For a country cabin, so clean and neat, nestled away in the trees. Spent a lot of time by the firepit. Wood and kindling supplied. Made a delicious home cooked Thanksgiving and had everything we needed. The nicest host. Always available although never really needed anything. Nita has thought of everything and some! Again, can't thank you enough for sharing your lovely cabin with us so we could make this wonderful memory. PS The pups wanted to thank you for having a water bowl set up for them outside, since we couldn't hardly get them in. They are city dogs but so enjoyed your acreage! They can't wait to come back and neither can we. Appreciate all you did to give us such a warm welcome. Sheri, Nancy, Alex & the pups

Quiet Cabin Stay

We loved our stay at this cute cabin away from the hustle and bustle of life. The owner left thoughtful little touches throughout the cabin which was nice. My husband also loved the entire works of Brittania Classics too. We recommend highly.
