Introducing the newly renovated Cabin at Hidden Cove, located on beautiful Lake Murray in Chapin, South Carolina. The cabin, originally constructed in the 1880s, was completely renovated from top to bottom in 2019 and is now outfitted with a state-of-the-art Control4 smart house system to complement its comfortable, rustic ambiance. This cabin has been aptly described as “Little House on the Prairie meets Star Trek!” A mounted touch screen is simple to use, and controls all lighting and electronics, including in-ceiling surround sound speakers in the den, kitchen and on the lakeside deck. Choose your entertainment, from cable television, streaming video and music services, or play your own music throughout the cabin from your phone or tablet. The cabin features two bedrooms, a large bathroom, unlimited hot water from a tankless water heater, washer/dryer, a gas fireplace, beautifully restored heart-of-pine floors and a huge deck overlooking the water. In the brand new kitchen, you will find everything you need to prepare culinary delights, including a refrigerator/freezer, oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, and dimmable enhanced lighting above and below the cabinets to create a cozy, classy ambiance. After dinner, sit on the covered deck listening to your favorite tunes, and enjoy a spectacular view of Lake Murray.
A dock and boat ramp are provided, as well, so feel free to bring your own boat, or ask us about the local boat rentals that are available. We have two kayaks and a paddle board available for your use - they are located beside the boat ramp by the dock.
The Cabin at Hidden Cove is a completely unique experience on Lake Murray – a rustic feel with all of the modern conveniences of the 21st century.
