Welcome to Deep Water Stays at Lookout, a peaceful Lake Murray retreat set on a point with deep water and wide, calming views. This is the kind of place where mornings start slow, coffee tastes better on the deck, and time naturally stretches out. Whether you’re fishing straight from the dock, spending the afternoon on the water, or winding down by the firepit as the sun sets, the setting invites you to unplug and stay present.

The outdoor living space is the heart of the home. Multiple levels of decking, hammocks, a firepit, and an outdoor kitchen with a 65” TV create an easy flow for long lake days and relaxed evenings. Inside, the home has been recently renovated with fresh paint, a fully equipped kitchen, and new appliances—clean, comfortable, and designed for effortless stays. A large screened porch with a six-person dining table and two hammock chairs overlooks the lake, making it the perfect spot for lingering breakfasts and unhurried dinners.

The home offers two bedrooms, including a primary suite with a queen bed and private bath, and a second bedroom with two queen beds—ideal for couples, families, or a small group of friends. You’re also close to everything Lake Murray has to offer, by both car and boat, including nearby marinas, boat rentals, lakeside dining, and easy access to Lexington, Leesville, and Columbia. We enjoyed the outside areas. The barbecue area the fireplace area and all the different levels of the decks. The kids went fishing and swimming. It’s a beautiful place we will be staying. The sunsets are amazing!

The views are amazing and the house is beautiful. Easy check in and excellant communication from the host. House is very clean and well stocked with everything you need. We spent a week and will definitely be back! Loved being able to bring our boat and keep it docked right at the house. Free boat ramp at the end of road was also a great convenience.

The host was very nice and the house had great location on water and off. Everything I needed it to be. However, I would of chosen elsewhere if I had known that my every move was going to be watched by the cameras that were never mentioned on the site when I booked it. They made us feel alittle awkward and uncomfortable. I should of been informed about the cameras prior and that we would be watched.

I did want to clarify that the security cameras are located only on the exterior of the property and are disclosed in the listing prior to booking, as required by VRBO. They are used solely for property security and guest safety. When we noticed dogs on the property, I reached out because the listing and house rules clearly state that pets are not permitted. We also contacted you regarding vehicle parking, as the house rules ask that all vehicles remain in the driveway. We certainly were not monitoring your activities, and I’m sorry if the presence of the exterior security cameras made you feel uncomfortable. Our goal is simply to protect the property while providing guests with a great experience. Thank you again for staying with us, and we wish you all the best.

We had a wonderful time as a family of four. The house was cozy, clean and a wonderful view of the lake. The multi-tier porches were so nice and the kids had fun swimming. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone who wants to stay on Lake Murray. Also the check out process was so simple. We loved our time here!

I’ve spent years around this lake, both in real estate and in my own life, and I’ve seen what it does for people. It’s where families reconnect, where friends actually sit and talk, and where you finally feel like you can breathe again. Creating a space where others can experience that is something I genuinely enjoy.

I’m big on the details—clean, comfortable, and simple to use—because when you’re here, the last thing you should be doing is figuring things out. You should be on the dock, in a hammock, or watching the sun drop over the water.

Hosting, for me, is about giving people a place that feels easy. A place you don’t want to leave.
