This highly sought after apartment is beautifully decorated throughout with a lovely nautical theme in the living room. Enjoy dining out on the spacious balcony, overlooking the harbour. A perfect place to start the day with breakfast or wind down in the evenings under the nights sky. The large open plan living room is bright in the day yet cosy in the evenings with comfortable furnishings to relax on. The double bedroom has the advantage of having its own en suite with walk in shower, close by in the hallway is the second bedroom which houses 2 singles beds and a main bathroom which has a bath with shower overhead.
This property has everything you could need for a short or long stay.

Very nice apartment

Graham was great. but unfortunately the Lift was not working for all our stay and being over 70 this was hard work going up two flights stairs but overall very good Bill Kellett

Great Apartment with lovely views

This apartment had previously received great reviews, and because of that we booked it. We hoped that they were justified. The reviews were spot on. The apartment was clean, well equipped and had lovely views across the marina and the Solent. Graham was a great host and nothing was too much trouble. It’s really well located, close to the Chain Ferry for East Cowes, and a short walk into Cowes. There are two well known supermarkets in Cowes, plus plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. We will be booking to stay here again. Highly recommended.

40 Marinus revisited

We are once again staying in this lovely apartment where we have stayed many times previously. We are delighted to find that the apartment’s furnishings have been recently upgraded. Brand-new mattresses and bedding have been provided in both bedrooms - the main bedroom now has zip-and-link beds that can be arranged as a large king-size bed or two single beds – offering additional comfort. The apartment is quiet, bright and cheerful, spotlessly clean and very easy to maintain. The view over the Solent and the marina from the very comfortable lounge area offers an ever-changing and enjoyable vista. The immaculate open-plan kitchen is very well equipped with all you could need. As always, knowing that Graham is immediately available to resolve any issues that may arise is an added bonus! We shall certainly be staying here again and would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to others.

Very comfortable, spacious and well-equipped.

We were very lucky to be staying for the glorious Easter weekend. Osborne House was great, no problems finding restaurants open, but we gave up on The Needles Old Battery due to traffic and went to Carisbrooke castle instead. The apartment was terrific - well-equipped, comfortable and in a great location. The balcony just misses out on the morning sunrises (some of the others in the block caught the sun). There was plenty happening on the river and the marina outside was busy, so plenty to keep us entertained while we were sitting out on the balcony. We enjoyed the walk along the coast to Gurnard to interrupt a lazy BH Monday. There were a couple of niggles with the flat - it seems previous guests had not reported problems with a window not opening and a sticking bath plug - but the welcome from the agent was great and I'm sure these will get sorted. No hesitation in recommending the apartment to others.

Well positioned and appointed. Clean and comfortable.

We chose the apartment to be close the marina and we weren't disappointed by both it and the views on offer from the balcony. It was clean and warm and well appointed. A nice easy stroll to nearby shops and restaurants. The single bed mattresses were a bit on the soft side for our liking but a small point! A great base from which to explore the Island.

A lovely apartment with magnificent views

My husband and I have just enjoyed four weeks in this lovely second-floor apartment and can only confirm the opinion of other reviewers. We especially loved the large open plan kitchen/dining/living area with magnificent views over the marina and the Solent. (I really appreciated the fibre matting on the kitchen floor – so much nicer than the usual bare, hard, cold tiles.) Nicely furnished, with a homey feel, and beautifully clean, the apartment is very well located a few minutes’ walk into Cowes and right next to the chain ferry across to East Cowes. We shall certainly stay here again. We want to comment on the excellent service provided by Graham, who – from the outset and throughout our visit – was always cheerfully available to help in any way and to respond to any need, although nothing serious occurred during our stay. We have stayed in many self-catering properties over the years and this is the first time we have been met on arrival and offered an unusually complete and most helpful briefing.
