Relaxing Lakefront cottage in Bemus Point on Chautauqua Lake! This home has 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths with a family/TV room off the kitchen, extra large sunroom and dining area with new AC in the upper bedrooms and sunroom! Fully stocked kitchen, two refrigerators, washer/dryer, propane grill. Nice level yard with 50 feet of lakefront. Easy walking distance to The Village of Bemus Point--Stores , Restaurants, Golf Course, and much more. Park your boat at the private dock in the Spring, Summer, and early Fall, enjoy the fire pit feet from the lake and take advantage of the many year round activities Bemus Point and the surrounding community offers! The waterfront where the house sits is in a 5 mile an hour speed Zone--so no wakes. Catch bass right from the dock, short boat ride to lakefront dining, fishing, and water skiing/tubing!

Very Nice Property

The property was exactly as shown in the pictures and as expected. Very nice (and clean!) property and the owner was very responsive to any questions/needs. We stayed the week with our family and would definitely stay again!

The house itself was beautiful and perfect. The dock, however, was covered with seagull poop (including the bench), and so was not usable. The construction on the bridge also made being outside and having a fire in the firepit less than optimal. We really enjoyed being able to walk to Bemus Point!

Perfect for our family

We had a 90th birthday party for a close family member during our four day stay and your house was ideal for the event. The whole house was very clean and well equipped. Our entire stay was delightful.

Great, comfortable house. Perfect for family vacation or short getaway.

Property was very comfortable and spacious for my whole family for the weekend. We celebrated a family members birthday and was perfect space for our celebration. Keith was very helpful and checked to make sure had all we needed.

Calmest place on the lake to dock

Great location for everything around this lake. Clean and comfortable with a great sunroom big enough for everyone. Owner is great to communicate with.

Great Stay at Muskie Manor

The rental was great place for my wife and I annual fishing week at Chautauqua lake. It is in a great location on the lake, close to great restaurants and shops. Keith and Family were very good to communicate and answer all questions and made sure we had everything we needed. We will be retuning next year to the Muskie Manor.

We get together with our adult children and their loved ones annually. This was our first year at this year at this location and we will not hesitate to return. The property was lovely, the house met our needs perfectly and the town is super cute.

Best House On The Lake

Everything was simple and perfect from the time we booked until checkout. Keith was more than accommodating and friendly. The house is absolutely lovely, with a perfect layout. We hope to come back for many years to come. I miss it already!

Perfect Getaway

Excellent trip!

Absolutely fantastic house and property. My family and I have been coming to Chautauqua for years and years, and this is our favorite place! Great spot for fishing, walking distance to amazing restaurants and the owner Keith was super helpful and communicative. Would rate this place a hundred stars if I could. We would love to come back. Annual family fall vacation

Muskie Manor was the perfect location for our family get away. The house was wonderful! The back glassed in family room facing the lake was great. We spent a lot of our time there playing games and visiting. The house is the perfect location to town. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was clean and comfortable. Keith was a great host to work with and was very responsive to our questions prior to arrival. Our family would definitely stay at Muskie Manor again.

A great November getaway

When we saw the weather going to be in the 70s we made a last-minute trip to Chautauqua Lake for hiking and outdoor fun. Keith and Molly accommodated us with attention to our questions (ie making sure the grill was clean because we asked about it) and making sure the house was fully prepared. They responded quickly to texts. They have a beautiful sunroom that we enjoyed Wed morning when the weather turned to rain. Thank you Keith and Molly for a great time.

Relaxing lake house. Bigger than expected!

We really enjoyed our weekend away. This house is close to the highway and the most delicious breakfast place. Being close to the highway, there was highway noise from the bridge when sitting outside. The house has everything. The beds were a bit uncomfortable. The windows looking out onto the lake are incredible. The easy to light logs provided for the indoor fireplace were very nice and such a great touch. The property manager was friendly and very easy to reach. We would definitely stay here again!!

Family spring getaway

On the outside when arriving the house is non-descript and is unclear what the home really looks like. But as you walk in the front door you immediately find a warm and welcoming cabin atmosphere on the main floor complete with fire place in living room. 2 bedrooms, bathroom, laundry and kitchen/dining area as well, with a 2 story addition overlooking the water that includes a large sun room and dining area exactly as shown in pics. Upstairs are 2 more bedrooms and a bathroom. All bathrooms are modern with exceptional lighting and very clean facilities. All flooring looks brand new throughout and everything was super clean. Thoughtful touches of nightlights everywhere and over-bed lighting and USB ports for all bedrooms. The beds were absolutely excellent. A very restful place to spend a weekend or a week. Quaint village with store and restaurant options are in Bemus Point. Host very easy to work with.

My friends and I had a lovely stay at the lakefront cottage. The house is clean and comfortable. We felt instantly at home. Beds were comfortable and we slept well. The host provided everything we needed for our stay. Mid-September weather was perfect and we happened to stay during the Bemus Point Fall Festival. This house is just a short walk to the restaurants on the water and shops on Main Street. It was perfect to be able to sit in the yard and look out onto the water and the sunsets. My only dislike was the dismal water pressure in the upstairs shower. It was very hard to rinse out the shampoo from my hair. However, it didn't bother me enough to make a difference in the overall stay. I think the flow restrictor should be removed from the shower head as that would probably make all the difference. I would 100% recommend this home to anyone looking for a great home in a quiet setting. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

We are a family of four who have lived in Seattle, WA - Bailey, CO - Salt Lake City, UT - Buffalo, NY - and now here in Jamestown, NY since the summer of 2019. We love the outdoor activities available to us here in our new hometown and hope you do to! We have found the Chautauqua Lake area to be very similar to the Pacific Northwest where we grew up--the hilly terrain, green landscape, seasonal weather, and abundant active lifestyle opportunities. The only thing missing is the terrible West Coast traffic!

This house definitely needed some TLC when we purchased it. It has a main cottage that was built in the 1950's and the sunroom/upper bedrooms were added on in the 1980's. We completed 90%+ of the work ourselves, hitting up the local estate sales, and look forward to hearing your thoughts on the property. More recently all the windows in the older part of the house were replaced, and heat/AC was installed in the newer addition. We enjoy the cottage as a family, but are hoping to keep it rented the majority of the year. We love the small town feel of the area, the lake is great fun, and we look forward to exploring all that Chautauqua County has to offer in the coming years.
