Plan to relax and rejuvenate while staying in one of our farmhouses. Imagine sipping freshly brewed coffee in rocking chairs on the front porch, admiring the Hill Country view. Take a five minute drive along the Blanco River into town for shops, restaurants, and activities. When you return for the evening, have an iced cold Shiner beer while you kick back and savor the sunset and stargazing. Enjoy the plush, Magnolia Home inspired, furnishings and decor in our modern farmhouses. They are beautiful and cozy with a well appointed, full kitchen - a real luxury retreat. Rent both cottages to sleep eight people.
Our beautiful pool complex is ready for your getaways and gatherings! Contact us for large group reservations more than a year out.

Up to two dogs only on a case-by-case basis with a standard $50 pet fee per pet. Exclusions apply. It’s important to know that our property is NOT fenced and best suited for those pet owners who plan to take their dogs with them on most outings and crate them when left unattended. Separate Pet Policy details will be communicated once approval is requested. Aggressive dogs, large breeds, and other animals can not be accommodated.

Rules:
You must review the rental agreement prior to booking.
Check-in is anytime after 4PM and check out by 11AM.
Self check-in with keypad; code will be sent to you prior to check-in.
Quiet hours are 10PM to 8AM.
No smoking, parties, or events.
Parking is for two vehicles only. 
-We do not permit guests or vehicles not on the reservation. If you plan to have a friend visit, please get our permission in advance.
-Please acknowledge that you must be able to climb a few stairs up to the front porch and door.
-Please follow the posted fireplace and house rules.
-Upon check-out, please turn off all lights/fans, take bagged trash to the dumpster at the property entrance, and wash dishes.
Thanks and safe travels! We hope you enjoy our farmhouse and hometown. We might swing by to say howdy and see if you need anything, but for the most part we will give you privacy to appreciate Wimberley, a little bit of Heaven.

Decent place to stay in Wimberley
My 12-year-old daughter and I stayed at the Summermoon Farmhouse for a girls weekend getaway. Overall, we thought the cabin was ok, with several pros and cons... Pros: Everything in the cabin is new and well-maintained. The cabin was clean, and there was no clutter in our way. Plenty of space for at least 4 people, with 2 bedrooms and a good-sized living/kitchen area. Quiet, secluded area, away from the crowds in town. Simple check-in/check-out process. Cons: There is nothing to do on the property or within walking distance, other than watching tv or come up with your own entertainment. We would have liked to be able to hike around and explore outside, but the cabin is on a small, fenced property with really nowhere to walk around and enjoy, unless you want to walk laps around the RV park. The decor is too "minimalist", to the point where it almost seems like they didn't finish it, and it doesn't feel cozy or homey. If there were window treatments in the living area and a few things on the walls, it would feel less stark and more comfortable. The lack of window coverings in the living/kitchen area made me feel nervous and exposed, especially at night. I would have been much more comfortable here if there were blinds or curtains that could be closed for privacy. Overall, the farmhouse was ok, and could easily be improved with just a few additions. If we come back to Wimberley again, we will probably look for somewhere else to stay.

We loved this property…. So much that if we need a longer term to relocate to area , we asked if that would be possible!! Very private and comfortable!! Easy to find and close to services!

Wimberley without the traffic.
Enjoyed the Summer moon cottage. Close to town, but quiet and relaxing. A perfect location to get to San Marcos or as far as Fredericksburg. The cottage was clean, comfortable and cozy for our two week stay, Thanks.

Wonderful Farmhouse, Awesome Host
We had a wonderful experience here. The property was just as advertised, with everything we needed, and the Farmhouse was very clean. Sally was an exceptional manager and responded to questions and requests promptly. We would recommend this property to anyone!
