Will book again

We reserve this house for our family vacation to Disney. The check-in process was quick and easy. We had a crew of 19 people and everyone slept comfortably. The house was nice and cleaned and located in a area that is close to many restaurants and retail stores. We will definitely book again

Over all good stay

The only thing was the carpet looked like it had not been vacuumed or cleaned in a long time.

The house was ok. The dishes were not very clean. They didn't have many pots or pans to cook with. We had to buy pots and pans. The dryer stopped working on day 6 and we were there for 8 days.

Great for multiple familiez

Awesome property for large or multiple families. We had a wonderful stay although needed to have the pool heated in November and the unit lacks full supplies like hand towels for the kitchen and basic cleaning materials. Basic plates, and dishware supplied.

Very clean, nice location

Very clean, nice location. The only reason I booked this house was for the pool/hot tub. I paid for them to be heated prior to my arrival, however, the pool/hot tub was not fully heated till the day I had to leave. Therefore I was very disappointed.

Nice location. House had good bedroom setup. We had a great time there. However there are some improvements. There was no broom for cleanup. They don’t provide kitchen dish towels or hot pads so we had to purchase in order to cook and clean up. There is a heating fee daily to heat the hot tub. Kind of expensive but some of us wanted it so we paid it. There is a weekly charge to use the grill. Again kind of expensive but we paid it. The dishwasher broke our first day there so we did not have use of it for our entire stay so we had to buy dish soap too. Also very small containers of soap and shampoo so bring your own. Kitchen was pretty well equipped but missing a few items. There was a rice cooker that did NOT work. Light switches were difficult to figure out where they went to. Also very little dishwasher soap to use. Property needs a bit of TLC to keep it nice. Raccoons raided garbage box every night but we got used to it and they pick up trash every morning. Overall it was OK and I might stay there again but it could use a bit of help.

Close to Universal and Disney

This house was the perfect location for us while visiting the Universal and Disney Parks. We were close to many restaurants and stores for things we needed to pick up for the house. This house was large enough to accommodate our family of 13 comfortably especially during meals and rest time. One of the biggest issues we encountered was trying to get inside the gate for the first time to check in the house. Our check-in instructions told us to follow driving directions to our address for the house. That's what we did. When we arrived, we were stopped at one of the gates, in a line of cars, with many other confused visitors. Once we were in the front of the line, we saw a sign saying all visitors should report to one of the main gates at a certain address to receive a pass for entry. If our check-in instructions had included one of these gate addresses it would have been appreciated after driving over 12 hours and arriving after midnight. The other issue we faced was keeping our trash picked up off of the ground. The trash container needs to be larger and it needs to fasten to keep out the raccoons. Every time we went outside to leave we would spend time picking up trash in the yard and putting the lid back on the container with a large rock. Our trash was picked up daily but the container was just not big enough for a large group. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

This QR code can be scanned at the gate for easy access to the property. We strive to ensure our guests have all the necessary information prior to their arrival, and we apologize if there was any confusion regarding this process. Regarding the raccoon incident, we apologize for any inconvenience this caused. Wildlife interactions, such as raccoons accessing garbage, are unfortunately beyond our control. The location was perfect for going to the Disney parks.

Upon arriving, we noticed one of the bunk beds was broken. They responded within a half hour and fixed them. As others have said, there is problems with the lights and the game room could definitely use better lighting. The chairs in the game room could used replaced. Otherwise the house and pool was beautiful! 5 of the bedroom has access to a bathroom which was great! The kitchen could use a can opener, We definitely enjoyed our stay here and we recommend it to others!

Great location for us

Overall the house was very nice. The kitchen did need some kitchen ware such as pot holders, cooking pans, dish drain cloth, kitchen hand towels. We did have an issue with the upstairs air conditioner not working but after 2 very hot days and the upstairs temperature being 80 maintenance men came snd charged the system and we had no other issues with it. There were red ant issues however we expected that because it is Florida! Having 4 grandchildren all 3 and under the water park in the community was perfect to use as well as the pool at the house.

BEWARE BEWARE!!!

The house itself is beautiful however our experience there was absolutely anything but. From the moment we were given the access code and allowed entry to the unit it was nothing but issues. Broken chairs in the dining room, dirty sheets on the bunkbeds, but the worst of all was the A/C unit for upstairs was broken. This is May in Florida so it's ridiculously hot. Mgmt kept sending out ppl to "look" at the unit but no one actually fixed it. Our guests had to go stay at another unit on the property because it was so hot but only for one night because that property was also booked. Call after call and text after text we kept getting the run around about the air. Finally 3 nights into our stay, someone "fixed " the unit but it still never got below 75 upstairs so that's not fixed to me. After going back and forth, we were finally refunded 2 nights which should have been 3 for my guests that were inconvenienced upstairs. I'd absolutely never stay at this location ever again. The customer service and inconvenience of the entire situation will have me use my hard earned money elsewhere. Run don't walk from this property!!

Great family vacation!

We were very happy with our rental experience in this property. Our family of 17 members had plenty of room. The house was beautiful and clean. It took some time for the upstairs to cool off, could have used some larger pots and hot pads…….but we made do with what we had and everyone had a great time. Would definitely stay here again, we enjoyed the pool and the water park as well!

Clean and lots of space but many other issues!

This home was clean and has a lot of space! It’s location is close to Disney parks. There is a nature space behind the house which is nice when you are out by the pool. We did have many other issues with the property. The security at Storey lake is sketchy. Sometimes the gates are open, sometimes they are closed, the codes didn’t always work. When we arrived there was trash on every corner of the neighborhood and it was windy and blowing all over. The house had a lot of issues with lighting. The upstairs bathrooms lighting was super weird. It started out bright but then would dim or go completely out. I sent messages to management many times but it was never fixed the week we stayed. A bed in the front bedroom was broken and the middle sunk in. The carpet going upstairs was really gross and stained. The wall paint had many scuff marks. The handle kept coming off of the freezer in the kitchen. Some household items would have been appreciated such as measuring cups and spoons. You will need to bring toilet paper, paper towels and garbage bags as what they provide isn’t enough for a week. The bunk room tv was cracked and not working. The televisions in general were very difficult to figure out and one wasn’t connected to the internet at all. There were also many loud parties in the neighborhood which made it hard to sleep. The main pool is quite a ways away so you will need to drive there. Throughout the week I reported issues to Deconova but nothing was resolved and no discounts were offered or given.

Family vacation week

bath tub upstairs was called for maintenance but no reply. Lights in all 4 out of 5 bathrooms and half of kitchen were not working properly light would go dim 1 minute upon turning on. The beds in upstairs had only 1 mattress made very hard to get out of bed. Made early plans to put heater on and paid in advanced but not done. Over all it was a good place to stay.

Good overall experience, kitchen utensils could be upgraded. Dishwasher needed to be fixed. House listed with game room, but both tables in poor to non-working condition. Grill listed as included in property listing but locked and extra fee would be applied to use.

House issues

House was very nice, a few broken items, they are: - Cable reception in main living room not working properly - Not all TVs had cable boxes - TV in bedroom with bunkbeds broken. The TV screen is intact but the membrane behind the screen broken. Someone staying prior must have hit it with something. - Outdoor light over grill not working - Ironing board broken
