Let's start with the positives. Location, AWESOME! Condo layout, great. Pool, nice. Clean sheets and working appliances, YES! But it wouldn't be fair to the property managers and travelers to not give the reasons why this is rated so low. Clean sheets and towels are where it ended as far as the cleanliness. The property is beautiful and even when we first entered the condo, it seemed nice. Once we started using the condo we found lots of reasons to ask for our cleaning fee back (it was graciously denied). Food left, dusty, spills on the floor and walls (one under the toilet paper holder, yuck), and broken items (shades, drawers, toilet seat) They do seem like they are fixing things, they fixed the rotted outside railings while we were there and came and fixed the toilet seat within two days. I don't mind well used at all, but the place needs to be clean.Then the chickens. We have visited Kauai seven times and have never been kept up from the roosters. Timmy, roosts in the tree outside the bedroom and wakes up everyday between 3:00-4:00 a.m. and does not stop until mid morning when he moves about the property. This is EVERYDAY. Not ideal when you are trying to have a restful vacation. Seriously, chicken napping was considered. I have never given such a low review, but when a client let's you know that the property details don't match what it presented online, you make it right. That way I know that you will do better for the next guest. Hope this was helpful.
