Enjoy a comfortable Juneau getaway at Thunder Mountain Place, a spacious ground-floor three-bedroom apartment located at the base of Thunder Mountain and next to a greenbelt. A trailhead at the end of the street provides access toward the Mendenhall Glacier along relatively flat terrain.

The apartment can accommodate up to seven guests and offers a practical layout for families or groups. One bedroom has a king-sized bed and private half bathroom, while the other two bedrooms feature queen beds. A rollaway bed is available for a seventh guest. The apartment also includes a full bathroom, living room, dining area, granite kitchen with stainless-steel appliances, Roku TV, and shared washer/dryer access.

Laminate flooring throughout makes the space easy to maintain, and pets are welcome with approval and an applicable fee. Free off-street parking is available; garage parking is not currently available.

The property is approximately 2 miles from the airport, 3 miles from the Mendenhall Glacier, 6 miles from the Juneau Ferry Terminal, 4 miles from the University of Alaska, 10.5 miles from downtown Juneau, and 21 miles from Eaglecrest Ski Area. The city bus stop is about a 10-minute walk away, with a convenience store nearby.

Two bikes are available to rent for $10 per bike per day or $50 per bike for longer stays. Guests may also inquire about available tour discounts.

Self-check-in is available, making late arrivals convenient. Check-in is at 4 PM and check-out is at 11 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be available for an additional fee.

Please note that the apartment is a ground-floor unit, but the property contains multiple separate dwelling units. Off-street parking is provided in front of the garage area.
