Lakeside Entertainment Lodge

Custom built waterfront log home on Lake Barkley. Our home is 20 min drive from Land Between the Lakes National Park and hunting area. Home features 2 stone fireplaces, private dock, custom bar, pool table, high definition theater room, multiple decks overlooking beautiful Lake Barkley. Extra large 2 person jacuzzi tub in master bathroom. Private dock is available for guest use for their boat during summer months. Plenty of parking available including room for a boat or jet ski. Brand new above ground 15x24 above ground pool and brand new 6 person spa with Trex decking in the back yard. Pool will be open mid May to mid September weather permitting. Plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. Master bedroom loft has king bed, second bedroom has queen bed and third bedroom has full size bed. There is a portable platform queen bed also available. There is video surveillance on the property. We have a ring doorbell overlooking front yard, also ring video surveillance camera that overlooks entire back yard.

This was the perfect lake vacation spot. The home had so many fun amenities and we used most of them. The place was immaculate and had everything we needed to fix meals. So many cute decor items! Close to parks and grocery stores and restaurants. Highly recommend this home, owners were very kind and responsive.

What an amazing place to stay on Lake Barkley!Home was clean and big and beautiful. We were 2 families staying and we were able to have privacy.Lots of things to do inside and out. We enjoyed the pool deck with private pool and hot tub most of the time. Inside the pool table was really nice to unwind. And the 3 year old loved all the toys! I really could go on and on about how nice this place is and how easygoing and helpful hosts are. Just stay here and see for yourself The little hill to and from water is not for you if you have mobility issues. We don’t and loved the lake access for kayak and pedal boat access.

Great family get away

We had a wonderful time. Kids loved the house and the stay. Beds were super comfortable and the downstairs area was really nice. One of the best deck setups I have seen. Only thing I could even think about changing was the Internet at the house wasn't good and unfortunately I had to login to do some work and it was difficult with the Internet connection.

This property is amazing and the host was great. Any time you reach out to the host they would reply quickly and would help you with anything you need. The only thing I wish this place would of had was a walk in shower. If anyone is looking for amazing place to stay and great host this is it. Thank you!

Beautiful lodge with dock

This lodge is gorgeous. The owners are so nice and helpful. It is everything the listing says and more. It was my birthday and they put up a birthday banner! Little touches like this make this place even more special. We will be back soon. The dock was wonderful and plenty of parking for the boat trailer.

Great property

Have to be pretty picky to make any real complaints because everything is really well kept and taken care of. Only slight downsides are poor WiFI (only cared because we needed to work), would prefer more than 1 shower and the lake when we visited was very low (less than 4’ deep) by the dock. However the amenities far outweighed these issues. Kids loved the games, hot tub and movie room. Communication was great and everything was clean. Would def rent again.

Great Family Get Together

Our family enjoyed another fun weekend at the beautiful Lakeside Lodge. There’s plenty of room for the family and plenty of activities. We enjoyed time relaxing in the hot tub, movies in the theater room and lots of games of pool. The house also has a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and spaces to hang out to relax. They’ve been working on some nice upgrades outside to the deck and have a fire pit table that was conveniently placed and easy to use. Susie is an awesome host and easy to reach. We truly enjoy our weekend getaways at this lovely home…already planning our next get together!

Lakeside dreamy

The Lakeside Lodge was a heavenly getaway. The house has everything you could ever want and so much more. The hot tub and pool were welcomed treats in the summer days, but bring sandals as the deck can get pretty hot. (Susie warned us in advance so we were good to go.) Being right on the lake is great for fishers, boaters, or Instagrammers, and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Susie was a very responsive host and set us up for a wonderful stay. We could not have asked for a better vacation. Book this house and you'll have a fantastic experience.

Great memories made with family!

We enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful. Everything was clean and had any household items you would ever need. The kitchen was spacious and had a great breakfast nook. Dining and living room areas were beautiful. New deck and porches were nice to enjoy the view of lake and be in the sun. The hot tub was amazing and we enjoyed using it. Loved the string lights, nice touch. We used the downstairs movie theater, my kids loved it! There were also games and toys to keep them busy. Clean comfy beds too! My family and I loved our stay at the house and would definitely stay again.

Much needed vacation

This property did not disappoint. It was everything that I had hoped for my friends and family vacation. Beautiful house. Fully stocked with everything! very very comfortable. 5 teenage boys never once said they were bored. The pool table, movie theater room, pool and hot tub were a big hit. We rented a lovely pontoon boat from Hu B’s. Fabulous service and high quality brand new boat for a great day on the lake. Susie- thank you for sharing this piece of heaven. We will be back!

Lakeside Lodge

First of all, the host was great to communicate with. She went above and beyond making sure we were all set. House is beautiful. Kitchen is great to work in -lots of appliances and cookware, dishes, etc. Washer/dryer was great to have. Hot tub was big and on and hot when we arrived. We were not on site enough to use everything available, but the entertainment room was great - full bar set up, ice machine, pool table, slot machines. The movie room looked great - didnt get to use it - but its awesome. Definitely recommend and we will use them again if we are in the area.

Tons of entertainment!

The house was absolutely beautiful 😍 and there was so much to do! Definitely don't need to leave the house to have fun! The kids loved the pool, hot tub, fire pit and dock! We rented a boat for a couple days and the dock was nice however the water in the cove was very shallow, about 3 to 4 feet deep which made boat maneuvering and fishing less than ideal. The woodworking throughout the house was stunning and the views were great! My only complaint was with having an infant, there is no quiet space in the house. The main floor room's door could only be shut from the inside, the loft echoes the whole house and the basement bedroom is surrounded by fun stuff! We would definitely stay here again!

Don’t do it

Do NOT book this home. The property states that there is surveillance in the backyard for security purposes. We thought that was valid and still rented the property. We are a family of 8, ages 20-52. We were not checked in for 4 hours before the homeowners SHOWED UP UNANNOUNCED at 9 pm and kicked us out of the home for “breaking house rules”. They said that they were “checking the cameras before bed to make sure there wasn’t a child facedown in the pool” even though they have a “ring”camera out the front and we clearly had no children in our party. While watching the cameras they saw someone in our party vaping outside. They then proceeded to watch AND listen to every conversation we had since we had been there. One of those conversations was about what movie we were going to watch that night.The home has a home theatre room and my brother suggested “wolf of Wall Street” because it is his favorite movie. My brother was quoting the movie and said “I’m not leaving” while looking at the security camera. Apparently this is what made the homeowner show up unannounced. I tried to show the homeowners the clip from the movie so that they would know it was a quote and not someone in our party being defiant. They were absolutely not having it. They said they normally don’t kick people out for vaping outside, but the male homeowner was so angry about the movie quote that they literally watched us pack all of our things and kicked us out after we had been drinking and had driven from out of state. Homeowners are extremely rude. Really wish I was joking or that any of this was made up. Homeowners returned MOST of the money, but We are still out over $600 for 4 hours from this house AND our entire vacation was ruined. DO NOT BOOK HERE UNLESS YOU WANT EVERYTHING YOU SAY/DO TO BE RECORDED!!

This is the perfect getaway for friends, family or even a romantic weekend for 2. We have a large 6 person spa on the back deck. Large 2 person jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom. 2 stone gas fireplaces. A large custom made bar in the basement. Theater room with sitting for 8.
