Marigold Cottage at Beechwood Place, is located in the heart of Camden Village. Just a two-minute walk from picturesque Camden Harbor, Marigold Cottage offers year-round convenience and the warm comforts of home. Ample off-street parking provides security and convenience during your stay. Marigold Cottage is sunny, private and professionally decorated with coastal Maine charm. The Cottage is spacious and equipped with every necessity to ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible.

Marigold Cottage offers first and second floor living. Downstairs includes a spacious living room with a fold out futon couch and a kitchen with private back and front entrances. Upstairs there is a large bedroom with a queen-size bed and walk-in closet along with a full bathroom, mirrored vanity and full-size washer/dryer.

Enjoy sitting on the back deck, strolling through the gardens and much more. It's close to everything!

This is a lovely cottage with a short walk to town. The kitchen is well equipped. All the linens in the bedroom and bath were like new. It was nice to have a washer/dryer with supplies provided. The binder with info about the area was appreciated.

Perfectly situated cottage

We had a great week staying at Marigold Cottage. Our hosts were generous and responded promptly when we had questions. The cottage was clean, homey and an easy walk to Camden.

The Magnolia Cottage was decorated nicely inside and very well appointed with all the needed staples. We met Art ( owners Father) and he was referring golf courses and local places to see. Jason was thrilled to receive his gift of golf balls. One of the neighbors lived there for 10 years in there apartment attached and loved the owners & enjoyed her garden and outdoor spaces. Definitely, highly recommended the Magnolia Cottage to anyone looking for a quiet relaxing, cozy and accommodating place to stay.

I have spoken to William and Christine- to clarify, they were disappointed that it was a Queen bed and not a King. They may not have seen the description or pictures of the property, and we are sad that this was posted to our property review.

Marigold Vacation

Very pleasant cottage, very clean and thoughtfully arranged and decorated. Would highly recommend for 1-2 persons. Stayed in October, weather in the 50’s trees beautiful.

Wonderful stay

This cottage was perfect for us. Though small, it functions large. It was very clean, comfortable and conveniently located. The full kitchen was well equipped and we did in fact cook roughly half our meals at the cottage. We would love to stay here again the next time we are in Camden.

Perfect house

This Camden home was exceptional. It was clean, comfortable and it truly had everything I could ever want to make my stay perfect. I sincerely was very happy with everything and hated to leave. Thank you for the opportunity to stay in such a nice little “get away”.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Marigold Cottage. The cottage was conveniently located and downtown Camden was just a short walk from the Cottage. From the moment arrived, we knew we had chosen a gem. There were fresh flowers from the garden to welcome us. The owner of this property had thought of everything, down to the smallest detail. The kitchen and bath had everything we needed and then some. We greatly appreciated the convenience of the laundry on the 2nd fl. The decor was lovely and the bed was extremely comfortable. There was an abundance of literature of the area and ideas for excursions. The neighborhood was quiet and you could hear church bells in the distance, very charming. We highly recommend this property and hope to return to the Cottage!!

Camden Vacation Aug 2023

Our weeklong vacation stay at Marigold Cottage was perfect for us. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. Its close location to downtown Camden made it easy for us to walk and enjoy all that Camden has to offer. Other outdoor activities are nearby, hiking, fishing, day trips to neighboring lighthouses, afternoon sailing on a schooner, and of course fabulous restaurants too. We did them all!! We're already planning our next visit to Camden!

Camden gem

What a lovely time we had at Marigold Cottage. It was perfectly suited for the 2 of us! Easy walk to the harbour. Very clean! Very comfortable! Furnished with everything you could possibly need! So much good information about Camden and surrounding areas! And the garden! So charming! If I have my way we'll be back! Thank you so much!

Marigold Cottage was just perfect. It well exceeded my expectations.

I am hoping to return next year - need I say more. The cottage had everything I had hoped for when I booked my week in Camden. It was obvious that the owners had put a lot of time and care into anticipating the needs of their guests and the results were that they exceeded my expectations. Extras in the kitchen such as spices, condiments, plastic bags etc. made my move in so easy and quick. A bottle of wine and wild blueberry jam greeted me as well. Instructions for the operation of kitchen appliances, remotes, washer, dryer, etc. were much appreciated and well thought out such that all my questions were answered. The owners also provided a book describing attractions, restaurants, hikes, museums, places to shop, etc. in the area and in my opinion their recommendations were spot on. The perennial garden with a quaint little potting shed was just perfect for an evening glass of wine and meal. I felt completely relaxed and secure in this quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The interior of the cottage was lovely as well, plenty of room, very comfortable and clean -- everything I needed was there. To conclude, I understand why Marigold Cottage is the most popular cottage in Camden. I would highly recommend this cottage - my best experience with VRBO by far.

Neighborhood walking with mountain and seacoast views is my favorite activity in Camden

Fall is lovely most anywhere in Maine and I’m an outdoor nut. Not only did I walk just about everywhere, I spent time on the private deck reading. It’s a ten minute jaunt to downtown Camden!
