Maine Cottage style studio house.

The cottage was built only a few years ago. It is a true studio with only the bathroom separated from the living space. There is plenty of living space with a full size leather couch and a reclining chair. A separate TV area has a loveseat. The dining area is setup for four people. The sleeping area has a new queen size bed and is separated by a desk and bookshelf arrangement. The full bathroom includes a washer and dryer. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, lots of handmade cabinetry, and a back splash of mahogany and Mexican tile. The ceilings are cathedral and covered with Maine cedar.
Located in a wonderful neighborhood the cottage is a 7 minute walk to town and the harbor. The library park overlooks the harbor where sailing, kayaking, and lobstering trips are available. The area is lined with benches for just relaxing and taking in the view as windjammers, yachts, and the local lobstermen come and go. You may want to hike or drive up Mt. Battie for an incredible view of the bay and the islands, after all this is where the mountains meet the sea. Shopping and dining are diverse and extraordinary with several award winning restaurants nearby, or you may want to grab a lobster roll to go and head for a scenic rocky spot by the ocean. Just endless delightful possibilities. If you are bringing a canine friend Camden has a wonderful 2 acre dog park and several places where a dog can swim in the lake or the ocean. You are welcome to share the abundance of our organic vegetable garden and our overabundance of raspberries.
We respond to your inquiry within a few hours, usually just a few minutes. Please note that all summer rentals are Saturday to Saturday for however many weeks you care to stay.
A note to dog owners, we ask you not to leave your dog alone in the cottage. For the sake of peace in our neighborhood if the dog is a persistent barker we will ask you to board them.

Perfect place!

This was the perfect place for our visit to Maine! Very well equipped with everything you could need. The location was close to everything. We loved Camden and there was so much to do. I wish we could have stayed longer than a week!

Beautiful vacation in Camden, Maine

Well appointed cottage, in a quiet neighborhood at the foot of Camden hills. It has a nice covered and private balcony where we ate out everyday. It is well situated and everything the town has to offer is within walking distance.

Lovely getaway in Camden

This cottage was a delightful place for a getaway in the beautiful town of Camden. Equipped with everything we needed and with loads of space, it was a short walk into town with loads of restaurants and shops, and a lovely place to spend time sitting on the porch and admiring the beautiful gardens. The hosts are great, super friendly and responsive. Would definitely stay again.

A little piece of heaven in Maine

Loved it! The cottage felt like our "home away from home". The property offered us a peaceful and relaxing environment perfect for unwinding. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. The owners Stephen and Janet were extremely friendly and easy to talk with; giving us excellent ideas on what to do locally. We were grateful to find a place that accepted our dog-Madison, a 13 pound shih tzu. We hope to return in the future.

Spouse and I stayed for a week in June. Perfect for 1 or 2 people. Clean, the owners are very reachable, actually live behind the cottage but are not at all intrusive. Very quiet neighborhood, about a 10 minute walk to town.

Great cottage in Camden

We truly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The cottage is a one room delight with everything to make oneā€™s stay great. The owner was always available and helpful. The cottage is in a great location within easy walk to the harbor and many restaurants. Pictures donā€™t do it justice. Highly recommend!

A great cottage in Camden!

We had a wonderful stay in this Camden cottage, where we stayed for a month. It's actually bigger than it looks in the photographs, and it's very clean and comfortable. The location allows you to walk to everything in Camden, and we could even walk to Rockport. The hosts are terrific and available if needed. We would highly recommend staying here!

Camden - A Homecoming

Clean, cheerful place. Fabulous owners. Short walk to town. Close to stores and restaurants. Saw old friends. Perfect for us in size, price and location. Visited nany friends as we lived in the area for 54 years.

Couldn't have been better.

Wonderful cottage with great hosts. Clean well-kept cottage in nice quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to center of town/shops/restaurants, Mt Battie trailhead, and short drive to Megunticook Lake. Great area with lots to do. We kayaked, hiked, Mtn Biked, went to free concerts, a play, fireworks.....The host invited us to pick raspberries from their garden. Couldn't have been a nicer place to stay.

Perfect!!

This is an excellent property. The location is great; quiet and an easy walk to town!There is so much room with well thought out areas to relax. The kitchen has everything you need for meals if you choose to eat at the cottage. The additional items that are included are very considerate, Janet and Stephen go out of their way to insure you have everything you need! Our thanks to them. I hope we can return soon!!

Cottage getaway

Recently built cottage at street with owner home at back of property. Easy parking in back. Tasteful open interior. Kitchen has everything for cooking, including lobster pot and nice rack of spices. Perfect quiet escape yet accommodated several friends for cocktails and hors dā€™oeuvres. Any question readily answered yet left alone by owners. Easy 3/4 mile walk to heart of magical Camden harbor.

Perfect place to stay in Camden

This property is lovely. It is near downtown, but far enough away to feel the quiet of the surroundings and gardens. The small home was built by our host, an outstanding woodworker. Beautiful touches throughout. The ceiling is stunning and makes the space look twice its size. We loved it! It was spotless and had everything we needed - including heat for chilly mornings. Weā€™re native Floridians, and going from 101 to Maine weather was startling! And, they have a charming little free library out front so I found a great read.
